Tom and George were absolutely brilliant when they replaced our radiators - very polite and professional, and worked efficiently. They cleaned up after themselves and were, overall, great! Dog absolutely loved them too, so that's always a bonus.

A year on, March 2021, I decided to use Hancox again and for a much bigger job. Bathroom and toilet refurbishment. The house is my family home and Dad passed from Covid in 2020 so the whole project was very emotive and required care on all fronts but also was more challenging than expected, the bathroom was rotting and damp. The outcome is beautiful and was successfully achieved by Hancox with an another outstanding experience. David and his team are excellent, especially Eamonn who put in extra effort throughout. I highly recommend Hancox! Review in March 2020 Hancox is an outstanding company. Very reliable, courteous and clearly Eamonn & George knew their stuff. This was changing the old style & size radiators to the new and involved adjusting the piping to fit the new size. This was done very well, so that the radiators look well fitted and tidy. They kept me informed at all stages and were very friendly & professional. I would highly recommend using Hancox. Thank you!

We contacted Hancox after reading their excellent reviews online and Lesley got back to me promptly and she was extremely helpful in advising us on products for having an update on our bathroom. The quote was sent out quickly and the price was extremely competitive compared to a previous quote from another company. The fitter named Ian arrived on time and has done an absolutely fantastic job on our bathroom , updating it and making it look modern without costing a fortune. I'm really fussy and I usually really dislike having tradesmen men in the house but Ian is lovely guy who obviously knows what he's doing and I honestly couldn't find fault in any of his work, his attention to detail is second to none! A fantastic company which I can highly recommend and who I will definitely use again in the near future. Thank you!

From our initial enquiry, site visit including proactive suggestions (which we followed) to quotation to installation, was excellent. Hancox Gas and Plumbing installed a new gas central heating boiler and radiators, removed an old bathroom, re-plumbed the bathroom by moving the toilet and shower positions and fitted a new bathroom. The work was carried out by very courteous skilled professional tradesmen who were very tidy and when they came across “unforeseen problems” they were resolved without any fuss or additional costs. I would recommend Dave and his crew to anybody.

I rarely leave reviews but the service we have received from Hancox is too good to ignore! Dave and his team to provide all of our gas services. We have recently had 2 x new boilers fitted at the offices (worcester bosch) and both function perfectly as expected. As Hancox are approved fitters I believe we got an 8 year warranty which is more than long enough for us! So far the service has been exemplary which is far from what we received from our previous heating contractor. I would strongly recommend Hancox Gas & Plumbing if you need any gas related services.

Great standard of work as always, this has been the 2nd install we have had done by Hancox gas and plumbing. I had an old gas boiler removed and a new combi boiler fitted in a different location. There were pipes to be extended to the new location, and the old boiler and redundant pipework to be removed. The work was carried out very efficiently and tidily. All the rubbish was removed and the areas were left clean and tidy. I would thoroughly recommend this company.

Hancox Gas & Plumbing came out to install a new system boiler and re-route the flue so it wasn't near an opening to the property. Putting the flue through a flat roof revealed that we had a leaking roof, as it happens it wasn't Dave's fault at all but he came back time and time again at my request and he was always so polite and helpful. Four roofers later one of them eventually found the leak - nothing to do with the flue or any other plumbing work - and it was fixed without us needing to pay for a whole new roof. I would highly recommend Hancox Gas and Plumbing, most people would be really angry at being called back to fix something they hadn't broken 4 times(!) but Dave was completely professional the whole time.
