Thank you so much to Mark Gill for servicing my boiler today. Mark was friendly, punctual, reliable and professional. It has really opened my eyes to the fact there are very knowledgeable plumbers/heating engineers out there, who smile and love their job and do not suck air through their teeth! I wish I had discovered Mathisons years ago. I will recommend you to everybody. Thank you very much again and will definitely be using your services in the future.

Mathisons replaced my whole central heating system this week. They did a fantastic job in 4 days. This included taking out 2 water tanks in loft, the emersion heater, 9 radiators and existing boiler etc. And replaced all with new. Very clean and tidy job by knowledgeable professionals who couldn’t have been better. Would highly recommend.

For physical reasons we needed to replace our bath with a walk-in shower. The bathroom is small so there were difficulties. Mathison's were the only one of three to produce a really workable plan, with a detailed quotation. Heating Control System added at our request. We are highly satisfied with both the result and the way the work was carried out. The tiling and carpentry are superb. The team working and cleanliness throughout were exemplary. In fact, if John were still a University Lecturer in Quality Management he would be using this organisation as an example of good practice. We would be happy to recommend them to anyone with a similar project.

I recently have had my boiler replaced by Mathison’s as I have newly moved into the area and was recommended them by a neighbour. I was not only really impressed with how helpful all the employees were, as I was given a full range of options to fit around me, I was also very impressed with the boiler fitting itself, although it was quite a complicated job my house was left immaculate and the engineers were very friendly and helpful when visiting my home. I will definitely use them for any other jobs I should need and would recommend them to anyone as I was very impressed! Thank you!

Recently, my boiler stopped working and I was unsure of what company to go with to get it replaced but I was recommended Mathison's by a local friend. I was impressed with the pricing and service overall, I was given many options and booked for replacement almost immediately by the polite staff. Over the Christmas period I had a no heating within my house which was very concerning as I am an elder. I was very concerned I wouldn’t be able to get my heating fixed until after December and into the New Year as I had been told by many other plumbing companies that they were fully booked or closed as it was a demanding time of year. However, Mathison’s were able to come out the very day I called, to my delight, they were able to fix my heating no problem and I’m very grateful. In future, I will use Mathison’s due to the responsiveness of their team and I would recommend to anyone.

I had a Vaillant boiler installed a couple months ago due to moving into a new house and the boiler being inadequate. I recommended Mathison's to my elderly mother who is currently in self isolation and needed her boiler to be replaced. We were worried this would cause issues as not only is she elderly but she also has underlying health conditions so it was vital she stayed in self isolation. Mathison's were amazing with the measures they took; my mother was able to stay in self isolation whilst the engineers worked very quickly and efficiently. They also provided excellent hygiene measures on arrival and after to ensure my mother was kept safe. I have had forever had problems with my Baxi boiler since it was installed by the old owners of my house by a different company. After contacting many boiler companies including the original installers and having no luck with the issue being resolved, I found Mathison's. Although I was not local to Portishead they dealt with my identified issue very quickly and with high professional skills. Even from ringing the company I found quick advice which I had not received by anyone else I had contacted. When the workers visited our property they were very polite and gave me many options. My oil boiler broke down during the worst snow storm we have had for many years and Mathisons came out in a 4x4 to my property which is in a 'hard to reach' area. The engineer was able to repair my boiler within an hour of him arriving, which was great as I have a new born baby and I was worried about the temperature in the house. I've used Mathison's for a couple years now as they came to my rescue as was let down and 'brushed' off by other (7!!) local independent plumbers during a boiler emergency. Mathison's service has always been the most professional, punctual, and superior against its competitors. I will now only use them for my plumbing and heating needs. Very easy to book an appt online, can pay over the phone with a card at the end of the appt and I've always felt safe in my home with their guys when they were carrying out their work on my boiler. They're worth every penny.

Mathison pphb is a fantastic plumbing and heating company, I had a full heating and boiler conversion about 2 weeks ago. They were very polite on the phone with setting up a quote and when to send engineers round to start work, when they guys did arrive they were well mannored made sure everything was protected and made sure we were happy with everything that was going on step by step. They work fast and efficiently and they cleaned up after themselves evey night. When the job was completed they ran through all of the heating system and explained my new controllers. I couldn’t be happier with the service they have provided and I highly recommended anyone wanting plumbing/heating work in there home.

Mathisons went out of their way when it was snowing! My mother had a frozen condensing pipe meaning she had no heating, and they arrived within an hour of me calling them. The snow was so bad they had to actually find a place to park about 10 minutes away from her house and walked the rest! They were very polite and efficient and sorted it in 20 minutes. I can't thank them enough for helping my mother on such a cold day. Service was above and beyond the call of duty!
