I was very impressed. I needed an old oven removing and new range one installing and it was done swiftly and with considerable attention both to safety, detail of the fit, and care of surroundings. The original cost was honoured despite more work being involved than expected and a tricky gas pipe angle was made better than before. Communication was excellent throughout -and mask worn - and I will have no hesitation in using this Derby based engineer again.

Amazing service! Repaired a broken pipe as an emergency to give me heating and hot water late at night and gave me options as how best to proceed that would be best in the situation we were in. It was agreed he would come back and install the taps at a later date which he did, and has done a fantastic job! We now have taps that work and do not leak! Thank you

I foolishly put a nail through a water pipe late at night. Called a few emergency plumbers who couldn’t get out until the morning or even a few days time! Then spoke to a friendly guy who tried to get someone out to me, when he couldn’t he came out himself within 30 minutes and got it sorted for me quickly. Fast, friendly and fairly priced. Would definitely use again but hopefully won’t need to….although there is still some DIY to do

Excellent service and very professional. We have a really old combination/combi boiler which was not heating water. The gas engineer arrived at short notice and explained what the issue was, and that we would require a replacement heat exchanger as the old one had become severely blocked and although could be cleaned advised on a replacement part to be fitted. Needles to say we now have extremely hot running water and an improvement in the heat output of the central heating. No hard pressure sales as previously experienced with other engineers regarding replacing the boiler, just a good honest repair and maintenance of the boiler at a great price. Will most definitely be using again should the need arise.

Me, being a numpty, drilled through a radiator pipe in the wall. I called East Mids Gas and Plumbing as a emergency callout. They talked me through the process to stop water spraying out all over my lounge and got a very knowledgable plumber out to fix the repair in a few hours. I also got phone updates from them as to when the plumber would arrive. Within an hour at our house, the plumber repaired the hole in the pipe with a proper fitting, repressurised the central heating system, bled all the radiators, fired the boiler up, checked the repair and made sure the heating came back on. All this for a really great value price, considering it was an emergency and on a Sunday. I cannot fault these guys and write this as a genine and thankful review. Would recommend.

We had an issue with a boiler. It sounded like a kettle boiling. We also had no running hot water or central heating. We needed an emergency heating engineer. We called our usual engineer who couldn't make it, so in turn we googled for one and came across East Midland Gas and Plumbing, who were more than happy to help. They came out within 90 minutes and resolved the issue by repairing our Ideal boiler within 30 mins of being here. Had excellent work done by Powerflush Leicester, owned by East Midlands gas and Plumbing. When our insurance company refused to complete work, we called powerflush Leicester and I couldn't have been happier with the service arrival, powerflush was extremely thorough and inhibitor added no extra charge as well as cleaning and the filter system on the boiler and checking the system, he walked us through everything he did, honestly would recommend to anyone. They also balance the heating system when the work is complete! Absolute 10 out of 10

Fantastic and friendly company for solving our issue with our Baxi combi boiler. We were due our annual gas & boiler service when we started to suffer pressure loss and a leak coming from inside the boiler and we weren’t able to heat the house properly due to this, but we received fast and reliable work carried out. They replaced a part quickly once inspected to fix the problem and thoroughly serviced the boiler to a very high standard. They also bled our radiators to get the best out of the heating system. I searched on google for boiler repairs in Derby with good google reviews and landed on East Midlands gas and plumbing services. They have a fast emergency response. The gas safe plumber diagnosed and fixed my water leak on the Vailant ecotec pro combi boiler quickly and at a very reasonable fixed price. Very good emergency plumbing service in Derby area. 5 star reviews

As always in life things never break at a convenient time. 8.30pm and we find our toilet flexi waste has been rodent damaged and is leaking all over the bathroom. Pretty serious as my wife is disabled and we only have one toilet. I Googled Derby Emergency Plumbers and up pops East Midlands Gas and Plumbing Services. Checked out the reviews and found recent good reviews so decided to call. Having been let down by multiple "tradesmen?" during normal hours previously I wasn't expecting a positive response at 8.30pm but what a revelation. Asif answers the call and after a bit of discussion suggests he may be able to help but he needed to try and find someone amongst his colleagues with a flexi connector (remember it's past 9pm by now so you can't just pop to Screwfix) Soon after 9pm Asif rings back and says he will be with us by 10pm and the price would be a fixed amount we agreed on (and very reasonable considering the time of day). And true to his word, Asif turns up at 9.50pm and immediately sets to work on replacing the broken flexi, which due to the age of our house was a bit of a struggle. Then we find the plumber who installed it originally had cut the inlet pipe a little short so he made this good for us as well. It took 4 atttempts to get the inlet to seal properly but he stuck at it and not a sign of bodging things with sealer. He insisted he must get a good seal with the rubber grommet. So midnight comes around and finally we have a working toilet again. No bodging, no "I need to come back tomorrow", no "that will be additional cost" Just a hard working chap who knows his stuff. I wouldn't hesitate to recommend this company and Asif in particular, who is that rare breed of a good, honest and reliable tradesman who wants to do a good job to help customers in their hour of need. We will be keeping the number for Derby Emergency Plumbers in our reliable tradesmen book (it sadly doesn't have many entries) Asif, many thanks, you are a star.

Had a gas hob installed into a new kitchen, so there was a bit more work re-routing the gas pipe into the new hob position, but the engineer worked quickly and efficiently to get the job done with the least amount of disruption. Would thoroughly recommend, unlike some of the other contractors I've had in. Will be contacting East Midlands Gas and Plumbing Services for any other gas and heating work I need doing.
