I called at short notice with an urgent install for a bathroom radiator. 1st Choice came soon after and we’re able to fit the radiator quickly and neatly. This was back in May so I thought I would wait until the radiator was back in use in the winter before leaving a review. It is still working fine with no leaks so I am happy with the service provided. Thoroughly recommended.

I called out 1st choice on 06/11/2021 to help with a huge emergency leak at my flat. They arrived so quickly - hours ahead of any other emergency plumbers I contacted were going to. They stopped the leak quickly and efficiently and gave great advice. They also fielded numerous follow up calls from me that evening, came back out of hours the next day, and returned again today to help me with a more permanent fix. They also replaced faulty valves, pipe work and even connected my dishwasher for me. They have been absolutely incredible and really helped me from start to finish at such a stressful time. I couldn’t recommend them enough. They were very knowledgeable, patient, thorough, and reasonably priced. I will definitely use them for any future work I need doing.

From start to finish 10 of 10! Recently purchased my new first home, the current cooker was very old and unsafe. Decided to order a new Russell Hobbs GAS Hob and after researching online on who to choose to install the appliance for me, I got in touch with 1st Choice Plumbing & heating, to install the appliance for me. Arrived at my new property before I was there, bang on time. Great first impressions for me. In terms of professlionslim and quality, one of the best I've had when getting work done to my new home. Step by step guide on the installation of the GAS Hob and even carried out a GAS safety check and showed me how it works. I was also shown the safety feature which I had no knowledge of. But most importantly the wife is happy with it too. Will definitely be using 1st Choice Plumbing & Heating again. Love my new GAS Hob!! Highly Recommend!!

Excellent service again from Mo. I had a broken toilet needing replaced, and rather than having any plumbing engineer do this job, I requested Mo to supply and fit my new one. He has completed many first class jobs and I rate his workmanship very highly. My previous toilet was 1970’s design, and there was a lot of work required to fit the new one due to old piping, size differences and old flooring. I’ve just had a new gas-fired central heating system fitted in my second floor flat on the Southside of Glasgow by 1st Choice Plumbing. They did a very good job and their attention to detail in the pipework serving the boiler is particularly neat. Being a second floor flat access to install the new balanced flue was not straightforward but they overcame the problem efficiently. I am extremely happy with the new heating system and wouldn’t hesitate to recommend 1st Choice Plumbing for the quality of their work. This is most definitely the only plumbing and heating service I will ever call. We had a multitude of problems, each one seemingly more bizarre than the last and Mo solved every single one of them. Contacted Mo at 1st choice plumbing with an emergency as a water pipe behind our bathroom sink had burst. Mo responded within a couple of hours to replace and make secure the pipe work. Would highly recommend Mo as while we were panicking with water switched off and no heating he reassured us saying he could fix it which he duly did. Excellent service. They give you a warning text 30mins before showing up to give you enough time to get home. The guy was very professional, got to work right away and found the problem quickly (our downstairs neighbours were complaining of a leak in their bathroom, which turned out to be a faulty section of our bath's waste pipe). He bought parts from a nearby hardware shop, and fixed it then and there with minimum fuss. The price was reasonable, and he was upfront with it from the beginning. I would recommend 1st choice, and wouldn't hesitate to use their services again if the need arose.

1st Choice Plumbing listened carefully to my request and asked me to send photo of problem with shower. Siphon on old shower had burst so water running out of bottom of shower and needed replaced. Plumber came out on next working day to assess wearing PPE including a professional mask and ordered exactly same shower, as I wanted like for like, which I received. It took a week to come due to this request. Plumber kept in touch by text to tell me price, when the shower arrived and to tell me when he was arriving. Also gave me a reasonable price.

It was hard to get an answer by email but after posting 1 star review the company contacted. It was good to notice that they follow comments and are responsive. But they did not admit that it was them who did not response my emails and I felt they were blaming me of a bad review even the post was totally justified. In the end they came in to fix the problem on time and were fast and tidy. Without the communication problems at first I would have given 5 stars. I think we agreed on some level about the communication issues and they promised to forward internal feedback. Would use their service next time as well.

Used twice in the last few months for a leaking toilet and then back again for a new bath panel. Fixed toilet really quickly. Called back again to fit a bath panel to size as couldn't get one to fit anywhere. Looks amazing and done in under an hour! Can't recommend highly enough!

I have been struggling to get a heating engineer to a poorly performing radiator. Called multiple other companies and all offered to provide support in few days time, tenants were wearing jackets in the house so this was not ideal. After calling 1st Choice (apologies I could not catch the persons name) and describing the problem I have immediately been assisted with some analysis and asked to check a number of things that could be a root cause to the problem. The person I spoke to could not guarantee the visit on the next day but offered to contact the tenant directly and understand the problem in more detail. Amazingly they managed to solve the problem over the phone instructing what to do. Would give 6 out of 5 if it was possible. Excellent customer support. Thanks again
