Called drain fix due to my bath not draining. Drain fix came on time advised, diagnosed issue within 30mins of being on site. Andrew and Gordy explained the issue in a manner a non expert could understand. Professional and respectful to my property at all times whilst outlining cost before job took place. Highly recommend

The team at Drain Fix Solutions were marvellous. We have a difficult water supply from a spring up on the hill behind our cottage. The water is heavily polluted with iron and over the years (30 to be exact), iron had gathered and solidified in our supply pipe meaning little water was entering the premises. The Drain Fix Solutions technician visited to assess the problem and returned yesterday with a colleague and together they successfully cleared the blockage, cleaned the supply pipe and main holding tank in the field as well. We now have fast running water for the first time in years. All the time they were working they kept us advised of their findings and actions being taken. They were great as was the office based team. I would thoroughly recommend this company for quality of work and price.

Just as the Covid lockdown was starting, we had a blocked pipe that resulted in sewage coming up a drain in our neighbour's garden. The prospect of us being responsible for their garden being out of bounds during the lockdown was not a good one, but thankfully Andrew and the team from Drain Fix managed to resolve the situation. Without being graphic, going to the toilet is now a much more comfortable experience! Very impressed with the professionalism and customer engagement and will happily recommend them.

I was dealt with professionally by the gent answering the phone, kept up to date on when the Technician would be with me and when Kerr, the Tech arrived, he informed me of all costs for labour and parts before starting the job. I contacted Home Fix Solutions on Thursday about fitting a new electric shower. An appointment was made for the following Tuesday. The old shower and cabling was removed and a more powerful shower fitted. Uprated cable was installed, as was an RCB to comply with current regulations. The entire job was very efficiently and neatly completed, the area vacuumed and all old parts and packaging removed. Both electrician and plumber were neatly turned out, polite and informative. I tried 3 other companies, none of which deigned to reply. The ethos of Home Fix Solutions seems to be quite revolutionary in the trade. When they say they'll do something, they do it on time and at a fixed price.

First time I have used this company and can definitely recommend them. Initially spoke with Andrew just after 9am. He assured me someone would be out the same day as it was an emergency. I was told the base cost price and should there be further complications then I would be advised any increased price beforehand. Hi We contacted Drain fix as we had problems with drainage. Our downstairs shower and toilet became full of sewage and we tried home remedies from B&Q without success. Kerr came out and sorted the problem by power rinsing the communal sewer (located in our garden) and then put a camera down to verify where the blockages were and that it was now clear. The cost was very reasonable and we would probably never use anyone else for any future drainage issues. What hard workers! A cascading gutter, in any heavy rain, told me there was a blockage somewhere. Kerr and Darren got to the root of it... a dense mass of plant roots the size of a crows nest, had developed over many years to fill a old 1920's drainage chamber... under a foot of concrete... under a slabbed path! As the root-cutter couldn't get to it from any access points, they had to dig down and clear it by hand. They were 8 hours on the job, sealed off the chamber and left everything reinstated as they had found it, all for the original quote price. Thank-you Home-Fix. Very impressed, would confidently recommend.

We used Drain-Fix Solutions to carry out repairs to our main waste pipe under the basement and back garden of our tenement block. Paul, Andrew and their team of diggers did a great job replacing a large section of the pipe. They kept us up to date at every stage with what work was needed and any changes they discovered once they dug up the pipes. They worked really hard for long days and tested all the pipes once finished. The team were very friendly and professional, willing to answer any questions we had. They also recommended workmen to landscape the garden and fix guttering while they were out. I'd highly recommend using this firm.

Great service from drain fix solutions! Called them out for what I thought was a blocked sink which had been a problem I had since moving into the house. Further investigation, it turned out to be a dodgy plumbing job from the previous owners. Had these guys out 10 mins ago, as we had a severe problem with our sink backing up into our washing machine. They diagnosed the problem quickly and sucked out the drain. Absolutely brilliant and give a 28 day guarantee in case there is further issues, but confident there won't be. Thoroughly recommend. One happy family xx
