Now had the work done by jag, amazing job, clean and tidy and punctual. Couldn’t recommend highly enough. Had an pre-existing issue with a block drain after work was completed which was only picked up after the work was done (through no fault of jag, we just didn’t know the pipe was blocked before hand!) and he came out within an hour and a half of contacting to solve the problem. I have a boiler service plan through SSE Hydro and was contacted by Ross from G Jassal An All Trades to advise that they were carrying out the boiler services and was looking to arrange to book ours in. Ross was very polite, professional and was quite willing to contact me later in the day when asked to as it wasn't convenient for me to arrange anything at that particular time. He also advised me of the boiler Engineers name so I knew who to expect on the day of my appointment the following week (8-12pm slot) I was updated just after 8am on the morning of my appointment that Farhan was on his way to my house. He was very friendly, polite and professional ensuring that he showed me his ID badge as soon as I answered the door to him and put on shoe coverings before he entered my house. He appeared knowledgeable, took his time carrying out his inspection and communicated to me at the end that the boiler had no issues and was functioning very well. I am very happy with the service I have received from both members of the team I have had contact with.

Company carried out annual boiler service on behalf of CORGI Homeplan. The initial contact was from Ross who was very polite and helpful arranging a suitable date for the service. The annual service was done by Michael who was very professional. He was also very courteous and completed the service without any issues. He wore protective covers on his shoes and used a mat in the area where he was working to prevent leaving any mess. This was my first time dealing with this company and on the basis of this contact I would not have any problem recommending them.

Gas boiler service. The company phoned to arrange an appointment for next day which didn't suit but quickly offered next day when I was home. The engineer Farhan came during the hours notified, he was very professional and friendly. He had covers on his shoes and while here was very respectful while doing tests in my home. Michael was the name of the engineer who came to give my boiler the annual check up. He was very nice and I felt he took his time with the inspection He put down his mat to protect the floor and he also had slip over for his shoes. Edited: after some back and forth. If you require their service they charge upfront so it's a bit of a gamble. Quick response after submitting online phone. Spoke to Ross who was professional and polite. Managed to quickly get an appointment set up and an engineer was sent to inspect my issue. However, he reported that the issue needed "alteration and re-piping", resulting in me getting a hef quote. For the follow-up appointment, the second plumber Jag did a more thorough inspection and realised that the first report was wrong, and everything could be resolved with a simple tap and hose replacement. Thankfully Jag remained very efficient and resolved everything perfectly without any re-piping. That means they did overcharge me for the initial follow-up, but after some back and forth they were willing to provide restitution. If you do find yourself needing their Homecare plan, might be worth considering. Otherwise, beware of the overcharge.

Got hot and cold outside water taps fitted 5 months ago cold tap is not working now phoned the company who fitted the taps they want to charge me £97.00 call out charge to see what is wrong with them because it has only been 5 months since I got the taps fitted. I think they should come out and fix the tap for nothing. You don't expect plumbing work you got done to not work after only 5 months

Both engineers were very helpful, assisting and explaining the whole process thoroughly. We had water leaking from first floor to ground floo on a Saturday afternoon. We had an emergency plumber within 30 minutes of calling. The plumber, Jagdev Singh, was very professional. Before entering the house he asked if we wanted him to wear a mask. Once in the house, he tried to locate the leak by checking routes other than lifting carpet or floorboards. Only once he'd ruled out non-invasive checks did he check carpets. He asked us first before lifting them. He was able to locate the leak from a pipe, replace it and restore the carpet. We couldn't ask for better service.

The five star review is really for engineer Jag, as this was our first experience of this company. Our initial call was to SSE Homecare when our boiler failed suddenly. Communication between ourselves and SSE was not good and there are obviously system failures within SSE which resulted in a four day wait for service (not G Jassal's fault of course). When we did finally get the call from G Jassall, Jag was very good at informing us of his ETA, and when he did arrive (on time), he conducted himself politely and professionally throughout. He listened carefully to the information I was able to provide about the fault and was thus able to pinpoint and fix it very quickly. He then checked all the boiler functions and settings thoroughly and made sure we were happy with what had been done. I would certainly use this company again. Can't say the same about SSE unfortunately.

First class service from a first class company. This is the third time I have used this company. I had a new boiler installed in my last house, had a plumbing issue and just had to have a new boiler supplied and fitted in my current house. Having my heating and hot water totally breaking down at this time year was a nightmare especially with 2 young kids. When I contacted G Jassal they were able to prioritise my job and had an engineer attend who supplied and fitted a high quality boiler. The engineer worked hard and when finished the area he worked in was left immaculate with his insistence on a complete cleaning where he had worked. He also spent the time to fully explain how to operate the new boiler not in a hurry to run out the door. Will always use and recommend G Jassal for future jobs.

After several phone calls from the above company asking me to remove my review (with the added incentive of possibly winning £50 in a review competition 🤔), I shall rewrite to reflect my full experience and change my star rating as my radiator doesn't leak now... Company called out to fix leaking radiator. 'Fixed' it with electrical tape as didn't have any new valves or the means to cap the radiator. Didn't remove shoes nor lay down any protective floor covering leaving my newly professionally cleaned carpet dirty and stained. Damaged my skirting board and wall when he let the radiator slip off the wall. After copious amounts of swearing in front of my two young children, and cutting himself leaving his blood on my wall and radiator (yes I gave him plasters...), the elderly plumber left with the radiator still leaking. I called back the company and they said the same plumber would come back. Waited until 9:30pm only to call again and be told they weren't coming as there was nothing they could do to fix it. Didn't even phone to tell me that. The next day the same plumber comes back. After hours of trying to cap the radiator he still cannot do it. A second plumber is called in to help. He finally is able to cap the radiator and the leak finally stops. The NEXT day the second plumber arrives by himself and is able to change the valve on the radiator. He is much more professional - laying down floor protection and doesn't swear like a drunken pirate or leave bodily fluids in my home. Later, the company calls saying they are sending a quote for 'some future works I might like done by them'. Didn't receive any quote.

Not all heroes wear capes! We had a disaster with a burst pipe. Alanna was amazing she went above and beyond when I called and managed to get someone out to us the same day. When Gurvinder arrived he was great and managed to fix not only the burst pipe (and get water back on for us plus 3 of our neighbours that we had to turn the water off to due to the leak) but also was able to fix a gas leak we also discovered. He fixed everything in under 2 hours. Such understanding, friendly, professional and helpful people. I cannot praise, thank and recommend them enough. Absolutely 5 star! Excellent service.

Had some ridiculous quotes to replace existing radiators with new and from the beginning J & M Plumbing and heating were so easy to deal with. Called up and explained what the job was, went through a few things over the phone and got given a quote there and then which was the best quote I had received by far! Gavin turned up on time and got the job done professionally and within time scale. Would highly recommended J & M plumbing and heating! 15/01/18 - Had a slight issue with a leak when the radiators were cooling down so phoned J & M and managed to get a same day call out between 5pm-7pm. I was told a diagnostics charge may apply if it wasn't a J & M issue which was going to be £59 plus VAT. Vinny and James arrived just before 7pm and had the job fixed within 5 minutes, it was down to J & M so there was no charge to myself. Once again a brilliant service provided! Would definitely recommend!
