PHENOMENAL SERVICE BY STRATHCLYDE DRAINAGE. I believe you write a review either when you are extremely unhappy or extremely happy - I am definitely very pleased with their service. Here is our story in brief: in our 5 bedroom rented property, we had a drain blockage. Tenants had recently moved into the property. 10 days wasted by Dyno-rod (so called experts of drainage) who couldn’t figure out the problem and gave us wrong advice on fixing the problem. The situation was genuinely stressful for us. Found Strathclyde Drainage through Google search, spoke to John and his colleague Christopher, both were exceptionally helpful over the phone, no salesman talk at all. Next day Craig and his colleague attended the property. Started from manhole with camera, figured out the problem within 20 minutes and started to resolve, and in less than 3 hours the problem was fixed. Craig and his colleague were both highly professional, didn't waste a single minute to make or justify any unnecessary money from this tough situation. We will use them for all of our future work and VERY HIGHLY RECOMMEND THEIR SERVICES to others. My suggestion to Strathclyde Drainage team would be - keep yourself the way you guys all are in dealing and resolving people’s problems with your honest and professional service. Many thanks – Raj

I contacted Chris at Strathclyde Drainage Services by phone concerning a blocked kitchen sink and my suspicion that there may also be a pipe leakage issue. He recommended a jetting solution to clear the blockage at a cost that seemed competitive . Within an hour a team of two arrived. They reviewed the situation with me and then investigated the leakage issue by crawling under the floor; and confirmed that their was a faulty pipe join. In order to address the problem they advised that they would need to call in their carpenter to create better access. They arranged that via a call to the office and promised to return to complete the work at 9:00am the following day, which they did with a team of four. The access they required involved temporarily removing a kitchen cupboard to access the faulty pipe via the floor-hatch that had been created when the kitchen was installed some 6 years ago. The faulty pipe was expertly replaced and repaired; the jetting cleared all drain piping; and the kitchen was returned to original configuration and condition. The total man-hours for the job amounted to fourteen, 2*1hour+4*3hours, at a cost of a little over £400 inclusive of all services and materials, which I felt represented excellent value for money. Thanks to all concerned.

I can not fault this company and its staff. Called up in the Monday morning, they asked what time would suit me. They came out in the afternoon when I finished work. Listened to my concerns and took care of the problem with the drainage. Cleaned down the work place before leaving. Chris also had an apprentice that he took through step by step of what he was doing.This I also found interesting. I would highly recommend the service. The work was efficiently undertook and effective.

What a relief this was we had a blocked drain and simply couldn't open. Found this company on-line and within 40 minutes, there was Raymond and Iain chapping the door and taking care of the blockage. We were advised at every step of the way and possible causes to the problem they had too use there "Drain jetting machine" to dislodge the problem. Work took around 40 minutes and we were back up and running, from something that was extremely stressful to being fixed and operating with 2 hours what a great job thanks very much guys your always welcome at The Scullery thumbs up all round
