I contacted Drain Doctor at 10am regarding a blocked drain. By 2.30pm Tom was on site, had diagnosed the issue despite having to deal with two hidden manholes, and spent two and a half hours sorting the problem for us. The service was top class, and nothing seemed to phase Tom, who was friendly and professional throughout the whole process. I would 100% recommend this business and will have no hesitation in using their services again if I needed them. A thoroughly professional service.

Andrew Thomas visited today to unblock a toilet. He turned up within the time frame quoted, he had a professional attitude and rectified the problem straight away. Phoned the Drain Doctor in the morning to request help with a blocked kitchen outside drain. Tom arrived the same day and cleared the blockage and sent a camera along the drain pipework to show the pipes were cleared and clean. Fantastic service, made the initial call on Saturday morning for a slow draining shower and toilet. I was contacted by Tom within the hour to discuss potential fixes and the prices for each. The work to clear the blockage was carried out on Sunday morning. Tom took the time to explain what could have caused the issue and gave some tips on trying to prevent the problem re-occurring in the future. I would definitely use Drain Doctor again.

Tom came out to inspect our Drain that had been blocking regularly, he immediately advised me that it was a public sewer and gave me all the details of who to contact to get it investigated and repaired and saved me the cost of inspection. Jim and Andy were excellent, Good humoured, Very professional and saved the day. When my toilet failed in my lease, I ended up having to wait 5 days whilst a plumber literally ran off into the sunset with the components of the only toilet in the house. When Drain Doctor arrived they identified and solved the problem quickly and SUPER efficiently. Even when a replacement part was faulty, Jim tracked down a replacement and Andy took great care to show me how to best maintain the toilet should anything go wrong. Rob, the engineer, did ask me to review the service and I tried both on Checkatrade and your site, but neither could I actually open a review. Anyway feedback. Prompt service that was sooner than engineer quoted. Voice mailed to advise earlier time. Both good points which meant visit in daylight. That day I tested positive for Covid so I had to avoid contact. In fairness to Rob he continued inspection outside, but that probably distracted him from a normal disclosure detail advisement. His dealings were with my wife (negative test) not close by and me through a window. So did not know the price to later. Rob cleared problem, gave feedback, advised of things to do and tried to do a camera check, which he was unable to access, but would follow up on. Rob cleared the problem promptly and professionally. He explained the fault and redirected me back to my Water Company provider, along with how I should log the fault, because it was a fault with a public sewer. NEW YEARS EVE 2021 Friday evening. I had a broken flexi hose from the kitchen sink tap which was pouring hot water out over the kitchen floor. I turned off the water and searching on google for an emergency plumber rang Drain Doctor and so glad i did. Andy was with us within the hour and after removing the tap we found the hose was an integral part so it required a complete new tap. He helped me search on the Screwfix website and recommended a particular monobloc tap which I ordered and paid for on line. He then returned on the Sunday morning after I had collected the tap and fitted it for us. Thoroughly professional, thoroughly polite and thoroughly prompt and extremely helpful. Would always now be my first call if requiring a plumber and would recommend to anyone.

A very helpful technician called Rob was at our house within 10 minutes of calling the office. He clearly outlined what he would need to do to both identify the cause of the blockage and to remove it. Once he had identified exactly where the blockage was, he also explained that it was the responsibility of the local water authority to clear it, however we were keen to have everything working normally again as soon as possible. I booked in for a cctv inspection of the drains re: holes and rats and the whole process from speaking with Liam to make the relevant appointment and then to .Tom Gibbons who came to inspect was faultless. We struck lucky passing the Drain Doctor van on our way up to a drainage emergency alert. Timeline was- Friday 1230 passed the van, called. Rachel promised an attendance that afternoon between 1400 and 1700; the actual attendance was at 1402. Survey carried out there and then, job booked in for the Monday following. Rob, from Drain Doctor Plumbing, attended our property on 19th March. He arrived pretty much on time, and got to work on our blocked drain. After initial attempt to unblock the drain at the house, he quickly realised that the blockage was further down the system somewhere. Once he established the direction of the pipework, he got the blockage cleared at a completely different inspection pit. I am happy to report that we are now blockage-free, due to Rob's intervention. We first called Drain Doctor out when we started to experience blockages in our drain line. My initial call was handled by a real person (not an answer phone or an overseas call centre!) and the technician who attended our property to clear the blockage was exceptionally professional, courteous and knowledgeable. When his follow up CCTV identified the cause of the blockages (multiple cracks and displacements caused by tree roots) he was very clear in his explanation as to how Drain Doctor could repair the drain line without any need to dig up our patio and garden which was a relief! The Drain Doctor team were able to return a few days later to undertake the lining works and did an amazing job (the patio and garden remained intact as promised and was left clean and tidy afterwards) and it would seem that all our drainage problems have now been resolved for good. However, should we have any further plumbing or drainage issues in the future we shall certainly know who to call, thank you Drain Doctor Gloucestershire!
