What a pleasure to deal with this company. From initial contact with Jess in the office, to getting a quotation and the work agreed and booked in was great. Manhole cover and frame (plus tarmac) was completed on time and as agreed. The engineers were absolute professionals and have no reservations in recommending. Flexibility around the time needed for the tarmac to cure was not an issue, and the team regularly checked in on the job.

We had manhole cover replacements x 2 and repair work. Absolutely brilliant company from start to finish. The gentleman, Jack, who did our work was lovely and polite and worked extremely hard. He stayed late to get the job completed and he didn't rush. A realy neat job and finish. A brilliant company. Would certainly recommend.

Excellent service and arrived on same day of ringing. The engineer was very friendly and helpful and gave us excellent advice. The camera view was reassuring and allowed us to see the drain was clear and healthy. I would highly recommend The Drain People.

We received excellent service throughout from the Drain People. They diagnosed the problem (incorrectly laid pipes by original builder - Cala) and then came and rectified the problem with the minimum of fuss. Jon, James and Martin were all efficient, friendly and polite, and left everything neat and tidy (including replanting a shrub that had to be dug up to allow the works to be done). The only thing they could improve is having someone who could remove and replace a toilet to avoid having to get a plumber out just to do that.

We suspect that our drains are the source of a recurring rat problem at our house. I called The Drain People out to survey they drains and verify this. It quickly became apparent that due to some technicalities that are beyond my expertise, despite them being on our property, the drains in question are actually the responsibility of Severn Trent. The technician explained that he could go ahead and use his cameras, but he wouldn't be able to undertake and remedial work so it was probably in my best interest for him not to do so. This saved me the survey fee, and I learned that I can now get Severn Trent to sort the issue at their expense. VERY good customer service, and top marks for honesty and integrity.

The Drain people came and sorted our drain after builders had left manhole cover off and lots of rubble had got down and blocked. Paul came out same day, on a Sunday within 2 hours! and dealt with issue quickly. He had all the right equipment and manged to do what DynoRod said would be impossible! Without the Drain people we would have had to have garden excavated on Dynorod's recommendation which turned out to be wrong saving us LOTS of money and pain of digging up a new landscaped garden! Paul explained everything well and made sure we were happy. Great service and great company would 100% use again if needed and would definitely recommend! Thank you!!

Despite a few delays getting the quote from the office initially, when the work was completed (digging up our block pave driveway, underneath our border and reconnecting some drainage pipes) we were very impressed with the end result. James (and Martin) completed the works in a very professional manner (including laying the pipes) and left it looking very neat once completed, which even included topsoil for the borders. The paving looks like nothing was done, which is quite impressive and they were very thorough with the 'making good', one of the criticisms we saw from other reviews, but no complaints here! Would definitely recommend, just need to tighten up the communication from the office really as we did have to chase a few times after an initial visit, but can't fault the team doing the work.
