I wanted to replace my old electric storage radiators with a modern air to water heat pump system but needed advice and more information than what was available through the usual sources. I contacted four suppliers and chose Central Plumbing and Heating for their ability to listen to what I wanted and their expertise in designing a system to suit my needs without any hard sell or overkill, not to forget a very competitive price. The installation included heat pump, boiler and radiators and was completed in 5 days by an engineer and assistant/apprentice with explanations and advice at every stage. They were prompt, polite and hard working and cleared up every day before leaving. I am very happy with the system now providing me with background heat all over the bungalow at a much lower cost than the storage heating.

Have had my boiler service done for a few years with these guys. The text service to remind me last year was useful.. but I never got it this year so was a bit disappointed. They have quite a few staff so you don't have to wait too long to get an appointment and have helped with a couple of jobs. Probably not the cheapest place about but they are always friendly and do a great job and I don't have to wait months for an appointment so I'm okay with paying a bit more.

After my 94 year old mother-in-law's central heating packed up on Boxing Day we despaired about finding anyone who could help. She has boiler cover with British Gas but they couldn't visit until 10th January even though she is classed as a vulnerable customer. I phoned / messaged numerous plumbers but it was Claire at Central who got back to me and quickly arranged for an engineer to visit. The problem was identified and the following day it was fixed. Claire, and the engineers who visited were professional, efficient, and courteous... but most of all, they cared and we can't thank them enough for ensuring that mum is now warm again.

Snow on the ground below freezing temperatures and our boiler had packed up. I have a central heating and boiler repair policy, but they were unable to attend for at least 4 days. When a regular boiler service indicated some major problems with my old boiler, the team at Central went above and beyond to both give me options (repair vs replacement) and advice, without being pushy or trying to upsell. I received quotes incredibly quickly and once I'd made the decision to replace my boiler I was offered a next-day (Sunday!) appointment to ensure I wasn't without heat/hot water. Given I am working from home due to the pandemic, this was an incredible plus and very much appreciated. Central are Worcester Bosch installers, so I also was able to benefit from a long warranty. Every single interaction I've had with Central - from the office team, to the boiler service and installation professionals - has been warm, efficient and professional. Absolutely brilliant service, from a team who go the extra mile for their customers.

We had a burst water main that fed our warehouses. Anglian Water couldnt find the actual leak so we enlisted Central Plumbing to install a new main feed pipe from the meter to our building and also install new internal pipework to relocate the main stop valves. Communication is brilliant, always informed of whats happening. Work took placed as planned and the guys that undertook the work both externally and internally were brilliant. i highly recommend Central Plumbing should you need a professional job doing.

Found these guys courtesy of local FB pages recommendations. They are recommended for a reason. Great timely response, came within 3 days as it was not something very urgent. Clear communication throughout and price was as we would expect. Price for part was a little on the high side as we were fully aware how much the parts (exactly as fitted) were retail which showed the mark up to be "healthy". We had a back boiler conversion to combi boiler. The guys arrived promptly at the time we requested that morning. The conversion took less than a day and this included removal of pipes recessed in our wall. We were impressed how clean the guys left our house in, especially as it looked like a big job. Great team! I used these guys to diagnose a fault in my boiler that another big company in Lincoln failed to diagnose and the engineer (Liam) managed to diagnose a leak in the main heat exchange straight away and even helped me to get it replaced under warranty! Will be using going forward.
