Used Chris for the first time last year for the annual boiler service. I was impressed by his knowledge and professional approach to the job. Based on this I have recently contacted Chris to look at a major problem with my heating system which is past its best, and he has provided me with a detailed quote and a good timescale for the work. From now on I will always use Chris for all my heating and plumbing work as good tradesmen are hard to find.

Chris installed a water softener at our house. He and his apprentice were on time, friendly, and professional. They agreed with us exactly what they were going to do beforehand and did a really neat and tidy job. The room was left clean and tidy after the work was completed. I got in touch with StopCox via the contact form on their site for an annual boiler service, kitchen tap installation and kitchen sink works. I received a prompt and courteous reply containing plenty of details and after providing some photos of the sink in question, was given advice on how to proceed. Everything was quoted for up front, and Chris was professional and communicative throughout the whole process. I really appreciated the honest and detailed responses over email. StopCox arrived on time, were very polite and left the kitchen as they found it after completing the job. Thoroughly happy with the service StopCox provided, and next time I have an issue I won't hesitate to get in touch with them again.

We've been using Chris since 2010 and there's not much he hasn't done across our two houses we've lived in during that time - bathroom planning and installation, replacement rads, boiler service and installation, changing dripping taps, changing thermostatic shower mixers and moving our hot water tank into the loft. We've only used another business once when Chris couldnt fit into our timescale and it resulted in him having to come and find a pipe leak and fix it. Can't recommend Stop Cox enough.

We belatedly decided to replace 11 radiators, valves and thermostats after new oak staircase fitted and with high quality fitted carpets. Chris and his assistant did this without a drop of water spilt, not a mark on furniture or furnishings after fitting sheeting to carpets throughout, and by taking great care. Job done in just over one day to our great satisfaction. We recommend STOPCOX for a really professional job, well done.

I have been booking Chris for a variety of different jobs over the last 5-6 years and have always had a great service. Had many quotes from different engineers, (including British Gas) for a new boiler, all were unsatisfactory in terms of price or suitability. Chris came along and gave a thorough assessment and recommended an appropriate boiler at a competitive price. Chris ensures that sheeting in placed down to protect carpets and floors and carry's out the work to the highest standards, his experience means that he takes everything into consideration and will offer advice & guidance to ensure the work is completed in the best way. Whilst at the property Mark fitted a dining room radiator which again was done brilliantly with the work being carried out as mentioned above. We used Chris to install and replace a number of taps in our house - 2 new outside taps for the garden including new pipework to by-pass the water softener, a new mixer tap for the Belfast sink (quite tricky to fit), refurbished taps in back bedroom and replace a faulty cartridge for our en-suite shower.
