I chose Neil to replace a boiler and thermostat, and change some pipes & radiators, and I'm very glad that I did. Of the quotes I obtained, Neil's wasn't the cheapest or the most expensive, but it was clear that he took pride in his work, cared about his customers, and wanted to do the best he could for them. I cannot fault Neil's work ethic and his standards of workmanship, and I'm very pleased with the installation and the boiler he recommended. I'll be getting him back to service it when it's due. In fact, the only difficulty I had with Neil was getting him to send me the bill so that I could pay him!

Contacted Neil with a bit of an emergency and he was fantastic in his response despite being snowed under with work. Identified the issue quickly and fixed the leak in no time. I can't recommend this company highly enough. It was a pleasure having Neil (and his team when needed) in the house, installing our new combi boiler and a new full central heating system. If I'd known how unobtrusively it would be done, I probably would have had heating installed years ago! Neil has a good eye for detail, has an exceptional work rate and is a thoroughly nice chap. The pricing was fair and itemised, and he even insisted on knocking some money off because of a delay which was out of his control. I will use this company again later this year for a new bathroom refit.

Following on from my last review, Neil has just replaced the boiler in my flat in the centre of Liverpool. Great professional vfm job as usual. Never thought copper boiler pipes could be beautiful, Neil's attention to detail is second to none. More than that, this flat is up 6 flights of stairs, with no lift or parking, all of which Neil managed professionally and with good humour throughout. If you've ever had any work of this sort done, you'll know how much (heavy) old kit, new kit, tools etc are involved - no joke dragging that lot up and down stairs. Thanks Neil, bathroom next? I'm a landlord and homeowner in Liverpool, and recommend Ashton Heating and Plumbing as reliable and professional. Repairs have been delivered cost effectively to a high standard. I trust Neil Ashton's advice and judgement - in considering larger projects he has shown a good eye for what's needed and has readily shared his knowledge and time to help shape requirements.

Just wanted to say a big thank you to Neil & the lads for doing such a great job. We had a full gas central heating system installed at the weekend, the engineers arrived at 8.00 am Saturday and worked none stop all day.They returned on Sunday to complete the job. Faced with the nightmare scenario of no hot water, Neil and a colleague arrived, diagnosed the problem within minutes and had me back up and running again within an hour. The boiler was drained, a leak was repaired and a faulty element and thermostat were all replaced quickly and efficiently. Before leaving, Neil checked that the hot water was back on and that the boiler was functioning properly. Can't recommend enough.
