I recently contacted James to replace a kitchen tap, he responded to my initial message very quickly and came out the following morning to carry out the job. Overall, James was reliable, prompt, friendly and professional. I would definitely recommend James to others and would have no hesitation contacting him for other plumbing jobs around the house.

One word to describe this man FANTASTIC I had a burst pipe in my hall emailed James at 7.30am and he was on my door step before 10.00am fixed leak in jig time and was really reasonable. Price better than we expected due to our situation being urgent as no heating and no hot water. Would I use him again and would I recommend him 100% to both.

I called James at waterways plumbing on Tuesday, late afternoon. A brief and polite discussion with a quick description of the problem, followed by a couple of pictures and James was able to diagnose the problem and book the job in with a quote. Very resonable price and booked in for Thursday morning. Arrived bang on the booked time and was very polite and courteous. Performed to an exceptionally high standard and completed the job (replacing leaking under bath pipework) very swiftly. Cleaned up all mess and left with a happy household. Quick next day service, high standard, reasonable price to fix a cistern and replace both kitchen and bathroom sink taps. Provided an accurate estimate after sending on some photos of the problem, came back within an hour offering to complete the work next day. Work completed quickly to a high standard, checking I was happy with what had been done. Cost was nearly half of that of another local plumber - able to pay via card/chip and pin. James even took his shoes off at the front door. Will definitely use again.

I could not be happier with my experience with this company. I tried to order a dishwasher from Curry's and was informed that I needed to have a water and waste pipe put in before the dishwasher could be installed. I called Waterways Plumbing and they were out bright and early the next day. They got everything sorted for the installation, fixed a leak I didn't even know I had (I thought the water was coming from somewhere else) and even managed to quickly fix my shower. All for a very affordable price. I will absolutely be contacting them if I need anything in the future.

We needed an outside tap fitted and James couldn't have been better. Contact was fast and clear with him getting back to us within minutes of contacting him. He talked over the job with us the next morning and then suggested a better way of doing it and priced and sourced the parts needed and told us the exact price of the job in advance. He then turned up exactly when he said he would and finished the job even fixing a small fault he found without being asked. We cannot recommend this company strongly enough and would definitely use them again any time.

I had a problem with the tap in my bathroom and my mum suggested James from Waterways as she has used them before and was impressed with their work, friendliness and value for money. James came out to the house on Monday to inspect the tap and said the part he needs to fix this would be more or less the same price as a new tap and suggested replacing it (The tap was the one that was built with the house so that makes sense). James recommended where we should go to buy one in the Livingston area at a good price. Before he left he said how much he would charge for his work before he left which I was more than happy with. I bought the tap on Monday afternoon and texted James to ask when would he be able to come round to install, he was at my door the following day at 9:30. As you can see in the picture James has done a fantastic job of installing the new tap. He done it in good time without skipping on the quality of his work. James asked me to check the tap before he left to make sure I was satisfied - which I was. What’s even better is that he can take card payments!! For someone like me who doesn’t carry cash this was such a convenient way and really added to the overall experience. James, thanks again for your work & if I ever need plumbing work again, you’re the man I’ll call. Great service, prompt install, prompt completion = a very happy customer! 😁👍🏼

James at Waterways was recommended to me by a good friend. I phoned about 11am expecting to be told he was busy until the following week, as per previous experience with other plumbers, but he fitted me in and was there within about 2-3 hours, after completing other scheduled jobs. Very friendly, quick and inexpensive to have my dripping kitchen tap replaced. Best of all, he spotted a potential disaster about to happen due to frost damage on my outside tap, plus poor fitting by the house builders, meaning my kitchen was on the verge of being flooded this winter. He fixed it quickly, explaining what the issue was and did it free of charge. I offered extra money as a thank you, but he politely declined. A very nice, thoughtful individual who cares about the quality of his work and a pleasure to have do work in my home. I've already recommended his business to everyone I know and would happily have him do other plumbing jobs for me. Highly recommended!
