We had just moved in and had a 20+ year old system in place at the property so it was not an easy job to get it all ripped out and replaced, but Matthew got it all done without any issues and in super quick time. He's a true expert and knows what he is doing. Just as importantly Matthew made sure that he worked in a way to minimise disruptions - for example, ensuring that the heating was set up and working asap even whilst the other work was still happening. In cold December that was a very helpful consideration. He was courteous, friendly and a pleasure to deal with.

p. t.Came to fix a heating issue, topping up pressure in boiler. However, also discovered a more alarming issue, heat pump not working and immersion being used to heat hot water. That fault finding has resulted in our electricity bill reducing by more than half. Fortunate timing, but thankful for the expertise!

We showed him the problem and he talked us through various processes we needed to do. He was able to see what the problem was and directed us to a temporary solution which would last the night until we could get someone round the following morning. He was really patient as our connection was poor, and he gave us calm and clear instructions during our little crisis. Would 100% recommend.

Having a new boiler fitted can be a daunting but Matthew instilled total confidence in me for the whole process. He is obviously extremely competent with this work which involves quite a few specialist skills. He is also very respectful of your property and very tidy. Apart the job in question Matthew also fixed some other small items one of which was a loose tap which for me was totally impossible to gain access. After the installation, which was done in very timely manner considering the tasks involved, he went through the basic controls in simple way and confirmed the after service that is available. Apart from that Matthew is a very friendly and indeed interesting person which I discovered when joining him for tea breaks. I am still trying to imagine this engineer enjoying his favourite pastimes which range from Fishing to Ballroom Dancing!

He arrived promptly and at the time specified on the call and worked out the issue immediately. R. F.Thanks to Maintracts, who were recommended by several neighbours, we now have a beautiful new shower-room such as we had long wanted to install in what used to be a study. It was fitted by a one-man genius of a craftsman who undertook all the different tasks often allocated separately to a builder / joiner, plumber, electrician and tiler. There was excellent back up from the owner of the company, who was extremely conscientious in making sure everything was on track. The work took fifteen days to complete. The cost was not cheap, but it was comparable to what John Lewis, for example, would have charged for stripping out an existing bathroom and installing a new one.

Now the overflow is disconnected and any overflow goes down the drain. Plus we have a dual flush now which will save water. All done in an hour. Very satisfied.

He went round bleeding the radiators and then checking them again and took a lot of time running everything up to full temperature, off and on again. This was not just a quick poke around and a bit of a hoover, as some previous services from other suppliers have been.
Engineer also set our minds at rest about a new noise and advised against replacing the part as unnecessary.
So pleased with the service that I felt I should track them down here and write a review.
