Our boiler stopped working and we needed an urgent replacement. Got an answer straight away yesterday afternoon, and an engineer visited this morning as agreed. Boiler replaced and job done this afternoon! Very professional and friendly service - great value too. Very highly recommended. Many thanks to Chris, Nick and others who made this happen.

I got North London Heating and Plumbing in to do a service and gas safety certificate due to concerns that the company who installed my boiler three years ago were 'marking their own homework' when doing services. When the engineer came over, I got a nasty shock - the flue was poorly installed, at an angle, dangerous and liable to leak carbon monoxide. He explained this very clearly and got his supervisor to come over to make sure. Because it's a top flat, this meant scaffolding, a roofer, and a total bill of £1,900 to take out the old flue and replace it. Not cheap, but there was no choice - the alternative was to move the boiler and keep the old flue, which would have saved money now but ended up costing more later. Once I'd swallowed hard and agreed to get the work done, the service I received from NLHP was excellent. They managed to get scaffolders and roofers over on a Saturday, get the job done in half a day, then get the scaffolding down on Monday. They were communicative throughout, didn't need much supervision and didn't leave a mess. So I would recommend them. The job was an unexpected expense, but necessary, and I now have confidence that my boiler is safe.

Very pleased with their work. Our boiler was due a replacement, following an inadequate gas safety check from British Gas. We were left without heating and hot water however the gentleman running the company came to our rescue, diagnosed the problem right first time and was able to install our new boiler within a day. No long waits and no frustration. He was very polite and chatty, which was very pleasant. Totally recommend their service.

Our boiler packed in during the cold weather, and at the same time we required work on the bathroom. Having an elderly family member living with us, it was an absolute priority to get the heating done and sorted quickly. Super quick service, really responsive, really efficient, tidy and great install across the whole piece. This house is a real nightmare for any work and the old boiler system with multiple tanks, immersion heaters and tanks in the attic looked hideous, sounded awful and constantly stopped working. Really happy to say we are now all enjoying hot water, heating from our new combi boiler. It looks fab as does the bathroom work, and we have no knocking noises from the pipes anymore!! Wow! Excellent service from start to finish. My boiler needed to be urgently replaced and I had an inspection within 10 minutes of calling and a quote by the end of the day. Efficient and tidy boiler service at very competitive price. Engineer diagnosed fault with boiler immediately and returned with replacement part. Very fast and speedy service and exceptionally clean and tidy. Also diagnosed and rectified gas leak with existing system at the same time. Very very impressed. Assessed the situation and gave me a sensible quote in about 4 minutues, came and did the job the next day. They replaced a boiler and a radiator in six hours to a very high standard. Its really rare to get this quality of service in the UK. Joanne in the office knows what she is talking about and generally gets it. Nick and his team of plumbers were fast, tidy, and obviously expert. They have a sister compnay that does Kitchen and Bathrooms: we will be using them.

North London Heating and Plumbing have been brilliant, from start to finish. A dream to work with, they quoted and installed a new Vaillant Boiler for me, replacing all the old piping and radiators, in my quirky old project of a home. We needed a Gas Safety Engineer to inspect an issue in our Muswell Hill Victorian era home and called North London H&P. What great service! The receptionist/office manager/dispatcher had an Engineer at our home the next morning. He arrived spot-on the promised time, thoroughly and completely inspected our gas system, identified the issue, made excellent recommendations, and then submitted a written report that same evening. Our Engineer was experienced, careful, fully licensed and certified. I strongly recommend North London Heating and Plumbing. I’ve just had my old boiler replaced for a lovely new combi along with the removal of old water tanks and the replacement of two radiators. Have to say the level of customer service delivered by the engineers who came to my property was exceptional, they took time to listen to my requests and where possible adhered to them perfectly! I have just had my boiler replaced by North London Heating & Plumbing, and I can say that I am extremely happy with the excellent customer service that the engineer provided. I had been let down by a couple of plumbers so when North London Heating and Plumbing arrived I was relieved to find guys who were super efficient, friendly and extremely tidy! They replaced our (very old) boiler with the minimum of fuss and 3 days later the house was warmer than it ever has been. We called North London Heating & Plumbing due to having no heating or hot water. Not ideal with a newborn baby!! An engineer attended our property within the hour and quickly diagnosed an electrical issue with our heating system that had been caused by a leak. John quickly made good work of repairing the leak and fixing the electrical problems and getting our heating system fully operational! Very polite, punctual and friendly . . . would 100% recommend! We have now cancelled our cover policy with British Gas and have made North London Heating & Plumbing our primary go to company!!

After a confused start to the service and quotation process(!) and a bit of a disconnect between the office and engineer, I found their communication and rectifying of the situation very professional and apologetic - they were very understanding in their approach, after an initial (self-confessed) under-estimated quote on their part. I felt this company did all they could to keep my custom and to carry out the job to the best of their abilities, while working within the ball park of their initial quotation (despite some unforeseen material costs). The installation of the new boiler was swift and without problems. We were taken through all the options before we agreed to go ahead (they were having to deal with some shoddy workmanship from a previous owners builder). Nick was very knowledgeable and made sure we knew exactly what was happening at all stages. In all, despite the initial teething problems I would still recommend this company due to the way they handled the rest of our installation. We now have hot water and and heating on a smart controller - which is priceless when finding a broken boiler after moving into a new house at this time of year! Fantastic service, totally recommend. We had to turn off our boiler due to a burst pipe in the upstairs flat which meant the water had to be turned off and this effected our condenser pipeline. The company who fixed the pipe upstairs was amazing so we called the company to fix our boiler. Nick came 3 hrs earlier than expected and sorted the problem within the 30min call out time. The condenser pipe is too long to defrost so he educated us on to solve the problem ourselves if it happens again.

Provided best quote, came on time, put dust sheets down round the house and worked professionally and carefully. They installed a complex addition to my underfloor heating. They had both in depth knowledge of my Vaillent Boiler and my existing underfloor system. Heating engineer worked closely with Electrician to make sure it all worked together. I have had a lot of difficulty with plumbers for my flat over the years but I knew I could trust NLHP as soon as they completed their first job for me a while back. They tell you what needs to be done in plain language and don't quote you for unnecessary work. I used them again in November 2017 for a complete overhaul of my heating system. I was impressed with the fact that they were prepared to work in difficult conditions in a flat with a problematic communal boiler inlet. Upon inspection, I'm 100% satisfied with the standard of the parts used, the quality of workmanship, and the clean and tidy state my flat was left in. I would not hesitate to use these guys again.

Well what a service, nick attended within the hour, gave me a full explanation and immediate options, we choose to go with a new boiler due to ours being well over 15 years old and the repairs just not making sense financially, nick and his team fitted it the very next morning, turned up exactly at 8am when they said they would worked very hard and finished the job. My boiler broken down on a Monday in winter left me with no heatig! However I called North London heating and plumbing and was greeted by lovely girl on the phone, she had sent round a plumber called Nick who was able to help, he gave me quotes right away after looking it. He came to fix it the on the Thursday and was right on time. Got it done within the day and left it clean and tidy afterwards, had my heating up and running with in no time, would highly recommend! My boiler packed in on Thursday night - spoke to Chris who arranged for Nick to come round as soon as possible. I decided to go for a combi boiler as it was much more cost efficient. Nick came back on the Monday when I was able to get time off work and did such a professional job all in one day I now had a brand new boiler at a great price and I am made up as I will save money in the long run. Pros: came in the same day and fixed (replaced a valve) a gas boiler issue Cons: charged me labour rate (£170!/ hour) for fetching the part from the local warehouse, without saying they would when describing the costs. Same rate for the diagnosing the issue, even though their website advertises its free. After complaining and chasing them for more than a month I had those refunded

I called NLHP after several engineers had been around to solve my boiler problems but could'nt. Barnaby and Dave came round and quickly assessed what was wrong with the boiler and that it needed replacing. Joe spent two days fitting the new boiler after he had spotted we had gas problems., and had to replace all the gas pipes.Joe is a fantastic worker, he knows his stuff and is very knowledgeable, and kept us informed as he went along. Joe is very tidy and put down dust sheets and kept everything neat. He is very professional, friendly and an exceptional worker. I will definitely use them again. All staff from start to finish are amazing. Joe then showed us how to use the wireless remote and showed us everything he had done. A big thankyou to Joe for everything. I'm a landlady in Muswell Hill and was experiencing some difficulty with continuous boiler break downs. I found North London Heating and Plumbing via google and decided to try their services. After making an appointment they were prompt and extremely helpful. They advised me to replace the boiler and to fit a Vaillant combi boiler. As they were accredited with Vaillant they were able to offer me a full ten year parts and labour warrantee which I thought was excellent. The job they carried out was efficient and has made a huge difference to the property. Lovely chaps, friendly service would recommend.

Very good, but very expensive: GBP 170 per hour. Their staff is very professional and know their trade and I am pleased with their workmanship, but being charged GBP 850 in labour for a 5 hour job plus costs for materials on top of that makes me give them only a 3 star rating.
