I discussed my renewal quote with Nicky as I had recently received a much reduced quote from another provider. Nicky was able to propose a reduced quote for me, which although wasn't quite as good as the quote from the other provider, was still competitive. I therefore decided to accept the reduced proposal from PlusHeat. This has saved me the hassle of changing and ensures that I remain covered. Had I changed provider then I would have had no cover for the first 30 days, so thank you Nicky.

Engineer was very good,explained everything in layman's terms,which was great.Only down side,was given a 7am to 6pm slot,then informed he would be coming between 12.15pm and 3.15pm.Then,he called at 8.20am,and said he would be with me in ten minutes !
He said a few small parts were required.Plusheat then emailed me two days later confirming the "Job closed conirmation" ,which it wasn't.
However,all sorted with a new date soon after that,but due to Christmas,the new date given was 3 weeks away,not ideal.

Friendly and efficient service. Engineer arrived on time, called prior to ensure that I was still available. He was very professional and explained what needed to be done and how he would go about it. Completed the job, which was boiler related in good time and cleaned up after himself even though the job required draining the boiler there was literally no mess. Customer service is excellent also and no longer than 5 minutes after the engineer had left they contacted me to see if i was happy with the repair, then contacted me the next day also just to make sure everything was still working up to expectations. Overall extremely happy with the service will be 100% recommending!

Pros: Generally Answer phone fairly quickly, friendly staff, quick response for call out
Cons. Do NOT purchase boiler replacement cover if Boiler over 7 years. They give you £400 towards installation of boiler ....here is the catch: not cash for a company of your chosing, you are restricted to going through them and very expensive quotes (£1200 more expensive than quote from local company for same boiler) which is very suspicious business practice for an Insurance company.
Engineers do not seem to go through Vetting process and PlusHeat will NOT take ownership for errors engineers have made.

We had a good experience. Plusheat arranged an engineer the same day we asked, but he didn't arrive, it turned out because of a bereavement. We arranged a second appointment. Richard was excellent, both indeed and manner, and solved the problem. To be fair Plusheat checked with us the day after we reported the fault and again during. I would have said 'excellent' if the first engineer had turned up, which wasn't Plusheat's fault.

On line, on a Sunday, I asked for a repair to a sink drain. The representative phoned me soon after and was very helpful. It turned out the repair is “out of plan”. This seemed reasonable. Excellent Service
The first time I've had to call out a Plusheat engineer . It was for a leak coming from the pump on the heating system situated in a tight spot in the loft and leaking through the ceiling and light fittings at around 10pm . After I called the helpline Jerry called back within 20 minutes or so and arranged an engineer to visit who got here by 11pm and had everything fixed by 12am .
Jerry then called the next morning to make sure everything was satisfactory .

Excellent service from start to finish from PlusHeat. Helen who answered the first telephone call couldn’t have been more helpful and she arranged for an engineer to come out the same day to assess the problem. A part had to be ordered, but I was kept updated at every turn. The engineer who came out was very courteous and maintained social distancing at all times. I was then offered times to suit me for the repair including a Saturday, which I thought was impressive seeing as I reported on Friday evening.

The process to get an engineer was a little bumpy to start with but they really redeemed themselves. I think it was Joanna/Jayde who called me on Monday to fix the issue and she organized an engineer for the following day just as my heating had finally gone off. Steve the engineer was amazing. He stripped the boiler and fixed the problem, which was part of my yearly boiler check. He knew exactly what to look for due to the experience he had gained over the years of doing this kind of work. Although a bit bumpy to start with, Joanna/Jayde and Steve saved the day. Well done Plus Heat. Don’t forget to add a yearly boiler check to your policy. It is worth it.

This is my first experience of using Plusheat for my tenants. They updated me by text, which is a great idea. I had previously used another well known company and was very disappointed with both service and cost of policy

The only suggestion I would make is that previous providers of this service would send annual reminders when boiler service was due. These are easy to forget and an automated reminder would seem a good way to prevent this. I’m sure it would improve safety and by catching problems early it might head off expensive claims and reduce premiums..

I was not too sure of this company as I had not heard of them before. I have now been with them for 2 months and hoped that I would not need them but sods law I had a problem with my boiler this morning. I stay in Glasgow and thought this would be a problem. The staff member who I phoned was great, he took all my information and said leave it with him to sort out. Within an hour I got a phone call from the heating engineer and am glad to say my problem is now fixed. I cannot thank plusheat enough and would definitely recommend them.

It's been a long time.
The problem started in January. Due to lockdown, it was inevitably delayed but it needed another call to get it going again. Once the call was made, things went very smoothly and the problem was solved within a day. I am led to believe that PlusHeat no longer use the company that first attended in January. Which, if true, is a good thing.

Our tenants reported that the gas boiler is not working. I reported the fault online on the Plus Heat portal and was waiting to hear when the engineer will arrive. Next thing I was informed by the tenant that the engineer has been and fixed the fault. That's what I call a great service. Problem sorted before the admin has been completed.

Had to put a call in to deal with a leak on my boiler on Sunday. It was a bit urgent as it was dripping onto my kitchen sockets and we are pensioners.
An engineer attended within an hour and corrected the problem with minimum fuss. He was friendly and informative throughout the visit.
