Neil and his team did an amazing job of fitting our wet room for a wheelchair user. There was lots of ground works to be done, and those were all carried out with the aim of the room being as practical as possible, but then the attention to detail with the tiling and other finishes was fantastic. Neil is great to work with, really knows the project inside out, and his regular site visits meant that you felt he was taking responsibility for the overall product. Quick to reply and very organised, he worked the schedule around various weeks that we were away from home. Big shout to Ross and especially to Barry for being so neat and tidy, both in his craft and when working in the house - very easy to have this team around, and we’re delighted with the results.

Neil’s team fitted an upstairs bathroom for us in our little old stone cottage - the original bathroom was an extension on the back of the house and so the pipe work needed to fit upstairs was quite extensive. We are really pleased with the results and especially the care taken by the workmen that came to the house, in both the execution of the work and the care taken to keep our carpets and other furnishings clean and clear throughout - Barry and John get a special shout out as fantastically skilled and genuinely lovely guys. After an issue with the hot water was found, Barry came back out and fixed it as soon as possible, nothing was too much work or too difficult for him, he is a huge asset to the company. We hope to use NMPS in the future for other projects. The only thing I would recommend is asking Neil and team for detailed quotes if any changes from the original are made - this will help with transparency for everyone. The admin team (shout out to Kate) are flexible, super helpful and always make you feel valued. Neil himself is pragmatic and down to earth and it’s clear that people who work for him are happy in their jobs. I’ve enclosed some before and after pictures of the job they did for us.

Neil and his team have recently installed a new shower, toilet, sink in my house as well as blocking off one internal doorway and adding a new internal doorway and installing new floor joists in my kitchen area. The work has been exceptionally well done at a very reasonable price for the amount of work. I was regularly in contact with the office during the work, they responded quickly, were always very helpful and polite. I'm very happy with the changes made and the workmanship. I will definitely use the company again and have already asked for quotes for future work.

I seriously cannot recommend this company enough. As a first time property owner I was undertaking my first renovation project to have a new kitchen fitted. I'd never organised a project like this before so I was nervous about who to hire. Neil and his team made everything so easy. Kate was fantastic with providing info before the project started and helping me get everything organised. I really appreciated that Neil frequently checked in to give me updates and check everything was going okay. I am so impressed with the quality of workmanship from the whole team. The joining on the worktop is perfect, and the tiling looks incredible. Everything was done to such a high standard and delivered really quickly too. After the kitchen was completed I also enquired about getting a new hot water cylinder fitted. I had previously contacted a few different plumbers but had trouble getting concrete answers from anyone as the job seemed a bit more complex than expected. Neil's team delivered everything with no issues. They were able to source the specific type of hot water cylinder that I needed and they quickly got it fitted and running. Thank you to the whole team! I'm so grateful for our new kitchen (and to have hot water again)!

They removed a gas fire, plastered the walls, built a chimney breast, installed a cast iron radiator and fitted a beautiful herringbone parquet block floor. The lads were punctual, extremely tidy and delivered exactly what I asked for to a very high standard. Neil McGregor did a fantastic job on our project of converting an outdoor roof terrace into an indoor office space. The build was challenging that it was on the second floor with limited access around the building. Nothing was a problem, Chris oversaw the project as well as working on the construction. All tradesmen on site had a great attitude to their work, and you could tell they had pride in what they were doing. Kate looked after the admin side and assisted sourcing some additional materials for us to complete the project. Great job by a very good team. The final result surpassed our expectations.

We wanted 2 (badly fitted) bathrooms replacing and needed a proper building firm who knew what they were doing to sort out the full job and not just do a cosmetic makeover. We chose Neil because of his knowledge and depth of experience - didn't know him before but went with our gut feeling and were not disappointed. We now have a stunning main bathroom and ensuite finished to a very high standard - and more importantly we know that everything underneath is done correctly and will not cause us any more issues. The guys doing the job were great and we also ended up having the downstairs toilet done and all internal doors replaced - again excellent workmanship. We had Neil and his team rip out our old kitchen. We were so pleased with the work that we had them back to install the new kitchen. Absolutely fantastic job, very professional. I suspect that Neil under quoted for one piece of the job but he honored the price quoted, which is rare these days. Neil came out to North Tyneside Disability Forum in Shiremoor, all we wanted was a hairdressing basin, he did not big up the job, and the price he quoted was in our opinion a good price. We were kept up to date with what was happening with our order and communication was excellent, thank you Kate. He and his team took care over the details in what was not a straightforward job, including modifications and alterations to the existing house. The project involved demolition, and alterations to existing brickwork, plumbing, electrics, and right through to plastering, second fix joinery and decoration. I first chose Neil McGregor building services by recommendation. The quote was clear, the work discussed then lockdown happened. However I was kept in touch by both phone calls and e mails and this reassured me I was dealing with the right minded people. My project was a new kitchen and building project of making a large kitchen diner living space. Howdens came out and we chose the plan. But Neil McGregors team of builders are outstanding. They looked after my property as if it was their own. They cleaned up every day . Surfaces were wiped down ,debris moved to skip etc. The whole project has taken three weeks . They have been meticulous in getting things right. Mitred joints , coving , cupboards every small detail was checked and checked again. All of the builders have taken pride in their work. Chris,Shaun and Barry . John the plumber, and Andy with the electrics all worked as a team. Not forgetting the two plasterers ! If any issues arose, I was involved in all the discussions and solutions were found. . I would certainly recommend Neil and his team.
