Keith and his team recently replaced my heating system after a leak. I rang Keith after discovering the leak - and he came round to my house within 30 minutes of the call! I was immediately impressed by his knowledge and professionalism. He recommended a new combination boiler (which is fantastic) and within a little over a week his team came out to fit it. The engineer was one of the nicest guys you could hope to meet - and he worked quickly and efficiently. Keith came out a number of times to check on progress and after installation came out to make sure I understood how the new system works. I am so impressed by the skill - customer service - value for money and professionalism of Keith and his team.

I found and contacted the company via the Worcester Bosch website and was contacted very rapidly by Keith, who visited the following day to assess the work and prepare a quote. The cost of the boiled was pretty much what I expected and we agreed the job. Keith and the fitters turned up at the time agreed and did a fine job of fitting the boiler and clearing up after them. Keith returned a couple of days after the job to make sure everything was working and to make sure I understood the controls etc. In all I'm very satisfied with the company and would recommend them to anyone wanting a boiler fitting. My experience with other boiler manufacturers and other heating engineers has not been anything like as positive, so well done Worcester Bosch and Pro-Active Heating and Plumbing!

We chose Keith and his team as his name already had 5* reviews, he is a local business and we always like to support them. When I called him he happened to be in the area and promptly turned up at our house 10 mins later, how's that for service!! Keith assessed the situation and explained in detail the works that needed to be carried out. His team were professional, kept everything tidy and did a top class job. Throughout the installation Keith kept us up to date with how the job was going and always explained what was going on. He even popped in a couple of days after the job was completed to make sure everything was ok. Great guy with a great character and would highly recommend.

Keith recently quoted for the installation of a new Boiler to replace my aging 18+ year old one. I did obtain a number of quotes, including British gas. As Keith was local, i wanted to place the business locally rather than with one of the more corporate companies. The service received was excellent from Keith and the engineers who undertook the works. Boiler was fitted, and they left no mess. Keith popped in at the end of the day to check if everything was OK. Customer focused, Keith and his team undertook a new boiler replacement and complete service of our central heating system. New radiator swap out all completed same day with minimum of intrusion. Keith followed up toward the end of the day to ensure everything was to our complete satisfaction. We have used Mr Barrow's company for plumbing, gas fire installations and servicing over the years, and never been disappointed. We even recommend Mr Barrow's company to anyone who asks for recommendations (whether they eventually use the company or not). On this occasion we had arranged for our Boiler to be serviced and the appointment was for this morning 26/11/21 during the morning. The booking process was easily arranged. By 1140 hrs my wife rang to find out what time the engineer was likely to attend so we could plan our afternoon. She spoke with Mr Barrow himself and was told his van had broken down and he was at home with nothing to do (so could have phoned customers to inform them of the delays). He stated 'the other man' was doing all the appointments. We were unable to accept his offer of trying to get someone out in the afternoon, as we already had appointments booked which could not be cancelled. She asked if we could arrange another appointment, he asked for our address, which she gave him. She said it sounded as if she was an inconvenience and the phone then went dead, as if she had been cut off. We understand these things can happen with break downs, and are not unreasonable people, but not to be offered an apology, not even a call to inform us that there were understandable difficulties in meeting pre-arranged appointment times, nor a call back after the phone went dead (as our details were on the system), we just found unprofessional, which is not Mr Barrow's usual very high standards of service. Very saddened by our treatment on this occasion, hence 3 * otherwise it would have been 5* without any hesitation.

We have recently had a Worcester Bosch fitted by Keith and his team. The service was five stars. Keith came around before the work commenced and ran through the filter system demonstrating this and explained what work would be carried out. The team were very tidy placing down protective coverings in the hall way and work areas. They were on time and very efficient. Keith came around later in the day to run through the working of the boiler and registered the appliance and completed all gas safe paper work. Very impressed and would certainly use again. The price was very competitive.

Excellent advice and personalised service from Keith. His team were punctual and fitted the boiler leaving a good finish and a tidy room. I had 3 quotes and Keith's almost exactly matched one and was cheaper than the other. I went with Keith because it was a local, privately owned business that had been put forward by Worster Bosch's fast track scheme. Keith was also personable, made a concise assessment and recommended the best option (an external combi boiler). It was raining heavily on the originally organised day for fitting the outside boiler, but Keith turned up on time (rather than just phoning) to explain that it was not a good day to do the work due to the hole that would be left by taking out the existing wall mounted combi boiler. We reorganised for 5 days later. His team turned up on time, were polite and efficient and left the place spotless at the end of the work. The boiler works well. At the end of the installation, they realised that it would be better to extend the flue and they ordered the additional part. As soon as this arrived, it was fitted at no extra cost. Keith has subsequently filled in all the Worster Bosch warranty for me and registered the boiler unit with the Worster Bosch guarantee scheme before finally checking everything is in good working order. This was really a first class service from start to finish at a competitive price! I can't recommend enough.
