Catalin was recommended by others in my family and I asked him to help me investigate some plumbing issues after moving in to a new house. His team were responsive and reliable and they spent 3 hours with me trying to trace the water flows in my house in order to correctly fit a water softener. It was by no means a straightforward task but they took the time to get it right and map everything correctly as well as doing a few minor fixes to toilets and showers. A very professional and high standard of work, I highly recommend Catalin and his team.

I called Double C Plumbing as my upstairs close coupled toilet keep blocking with a very poor flush. I thought I would need to have the toilet replaced. Catalin said the flush was fine and he suspected a blockage and would come back 2 days later to investigate. He returned with various replacement Pan Connectors parts, removed the toilet showed me the blockage problem (grout build up hardened around the U bend of the pan after bathroom work from years before). He removed the blockage replaced the toilet quickly and we now have a fully functioning toilet. Very pleased with his expertise and service.

Quick response and reasonable prices. Installed new taps and plumbing for dishwasher, power flushed central heating system & added a magnetic filter, replaced a corroded radiator and added TSVs to existing radiators. Efficient and professional, and everything left clean and tidy afterwards. Will definitely use again.

Catalin from Double C plumbing helped us to replace our leaking water mains. After several plumbers had declined the job Catalin came, offered various alternatives how to do it, and - given that the leak was substantial - created availability within a week. Moreover, he offered to do the job at a very reasonable price. They arrived on time, worked very fast and very efficiently, and were able to adjust the job to additional information that emerged in the process, to reduce our bill., and we are very happy with the result. We were particularly pleased with how they restored everything and cleaned the worksite after they were done, leaving everything in better condition than they found it. Can absolutely recommend.

Catalin tackled our ancient water system with speed and enthusiasm. Very grateful for a complex job well done on time and budget. The work involved cutting into an ancient galvanised cold water tank to install a new plastic one as well as replacing a hot water tank and neatly installing a shower with pump. Intend to use again on our next plumbing job.

I got in touch with them after our last plumber had ridiculously overcharged us and not done the correct piping work. Catalin came by within a couple of hours of my first call and thoroughly went through the work that was needed and gave a more than fair quote. Ever since then I have been able to contact him at any time or day of the week and catalin has always made time to come and help with emergencies etc no matter how busy he is. In November of last year we had a complete refit done of the kitchen and I can honestly say that he transformed the space! He worked to a very tight timescale as we wanted to be back open as soon as possible and even offered money saving alternatives to some of the jobs I asked his advice on. Great service! We've used Double C Plumbing a few times now, and we're very happy with the work carried out, all for different things, Catalin installed our cast iron radiators and fixed various leaks, sink, toilet and he has been excellent with each task, Catalin works quickly and efficiently , and also he is honest and charges reasonably. i will use him again in the future.
