The service from Phil was absolutely second to none. He was so quick at getting back to me for everything. Even came before the started date to fix my shower. After speaking to many plumbers her came up trumps. The service was fantastic. He even fixed my toilet whilst he was here. 10/10 job. My parents boiler stopped working, theyre are in their 60s and 70s and my Dad has a heart condition. They have British Gas homecare but when rang for an engineer was told the earliest would be 29th December (they rang on the 7th). The call handler when told about my Dads heart condition actually turned in to a doctor and went on to say "having no heating for weeks wont affect his condition". I googled plumbers in Nottingham and found Phil, all of his reviews were excellent so contacted him. So glad i did, he went round that same evening on his way home from work. He had their heating back on within half an hour for an extremely reasonable fee. Cannot recommend him highly enough he was polite, friendly and went out of his way to ensure my parents didnt wait weeks (and all over Christmas) with no heating. Thankyou Phil.

I've been using Phil's services for years with a property I rent out. He will arrange times directly with the tenants and then go and carry out the work. While he's there he always thoroughly checks everything else and let's me know if there's anything else to be done. His work is of a very high standard. I had 2 years of trouble with a boiler and numerous engineers out to it. Phil went once and it's been fine since. He's friendly and helpful. If I call him or text him with a question he's always happy to help. Phil is my go to guy and I'd recommend him to anyone. Great service! I can relax whenever Phil goes to the property knowing that he will get things working again and it will last.

**Update** our original review was 1 star because of a no show (as it transpires due to an unforseen circumstance), but to his credit Phil called the next day to apologise and quickly arranged another visit. He came on time and and after a couple of visits everything was sorted including a pesky intermittent issue! After the initial hiccup, Phil's service was impeccable, and he was just a nice bloke to boot. Would definitely recommend and use him again. Would be a 5 star if not for the initial problem. Phil was recommended to me when I had an intermittent fault on my boiler a year or so ago. The fault was not easy to diagnose but Phil was extremely thorough and got the issue rectified quickly. Phil is very trustworthy and as a result we have been very comfortable for Phil to gain access to our property even we are not around. I had a tap replaced. It was not an ordinary tap but a fairly complex german tap with spray shower. Phil was very nice, precise, punctual, extremely tidy and clean. For the first time I did not even had to clean the bathroom. Everything perfect. I found the price reasonable (£120 for about 1h 20' and a brilliantly performed job) without any hidden cost. The final price was just the initial quote. I will definitely call Phil again!

We rang Phil when our central heating failed suddenly. It was sub zero, snow everywhere, but Phil was able to come that evening to assess what needed doing. He wasn't able to fix it immediately because it needed a new part, but was the back the next day to repair the boiler. Phil Humberstone did some excellent work for my son and as I was having problems with my own central heating system and boiler I sought Phil's advice. He was very knowledgeable and helpful and my problem turned out to be a relatively simple one and his advice enabled me to sort it out myself. I have given only four stars as I did not have personal experience of work being carried out. Previous requests for advice from other plumbers usually resulted in them wanting to investigate which would have resulted in a callout cost but Phil's advice was free.

Phil Fitted me with a new Boiler, filter system and new thermostat and control unit! I found Phil from a recomendation of a freind and I was over the moon to finally find a professionla Plumber who i feel can be trusted and is competant.
