Excellent service from start to finish. Knowledgeable person guided me through the drainage options on the phone and although I suspected I would need the more advanced option, advised me to start with the standard drain care package, and then we could upgrade if we need to, thereby hopefully saving me money. He was totally right. Three days later, the guys were here doing the job. Friendly, approachable, very effective and efficient and they achieved it quickly, and at the standard rate as advised on the phone. I am absolutely delighted with the outcome, thank you.

Brilliant and friendly service. We had an issue with a blocked drain causing shower water to overflow into our downstairs loo. I had to call from work and arrange for someone to meet my husband at home so I personally didn't meet the guys but the lady on the phone was lovely very helpful, sorry I didn't get her name! Andy was out that same afternoon and my husband said he was excellent, very knowledgeable, friendly and able to give some good advice. They tried very hard to locate a manhole because of course we had no clue where it could be, and they came up with a workable solution very quickly and the drain cleared. Thank you so much!

What a genuine, lovely guy. Andy has been in the business a very long time and is very knowledgeable. Couldn't ask for more. We had a blocked outside drain with sewage coming up. They took the job late on a Friday afternoon and arrived promptly, were quick, professional and efficient. James and Mike fixed the problem quickly and even tidied up, cleaned and disinfected before they left. Priced very reasonably too, especially compared to some other companies with less expert, local knowledge. (Andy, the boss, looked up our address on google street view and told us where to find the access cover, which two other companies who had attended in person couldn't find!) Very impressive. I cannot recommend this company enough. I have had 2 other drain companies come in the last 4 years to clean my drains but Drain Care is the first that actually removed the blockage (fat build-up) and you could actually see it being removed. Andy of DC (SW) was extremely knowledgeable and informed not just me but ergo my neighbours that the sole responsibility rest with South West Water. They declined to accept responsibility. Andy then stated the chapter and verse of the law to them, I did the same. Finally South West Water had to come and repair the sewage line and pay us almost £1300.00 in compensation. Absolutely brilliant.!! Unfortunately for us, we had to use these guys twice for two separate issues, the second being today. Both occasions the telephone manner was polite and professional, BOTH times Pete was at our property within a couple hours, if that! Efficient friendly local experts! We had a blocked drain due to 1940s cage being clogged up. We rang on Sunday and got seen to by Monday. Andy came and immediately set to work. He was efficient but able to be friendly at the same time, despite being forearm deep in sewage. He left our yard cleaner than it was before it flooded and treated the terrible smell. Could not recommend this company highly enough. If you need your old drains seeing to and fancy supporting a local tradesman, this is the company to go to!
