Excellent service in resolving our blocked drain. Alan responded promptly to my call, and made me aware of his rate per hour and likely cost for my job before attending. Alan arrived when promised and quickly identified the source of the problem which was actually off my property. He explained what he was doing and resolved the issue quickly within the expected time. He also contacted Southern Water to make them aware of the risk of further issues. He was absolutely professional throughout and left the property clean and tidy. I was delighted with Alan's service. He was a pleasure to do business with and I would recommend him without reservation.

Exceptional 1st experience with this business, messaged Alan yesterday via WhatsApp didn't get through initially and he called back nice and quickly, extremely professional and clear with the guidelines of their service along with pricing and timescales, the job was completed the same afternoon and the invoice in the following morning. Excellent quality! Allen Porter exceeds expectation. The job at hand, a blocked outdoor drain, repeat offender in my student home. Many ‘landlord callouts’ had been tasted to treat the tyranny; I have seen an escalade of experience put forth. None fit for purpose. Until now. Until, Allen Porter set to solve the problem. My name is Connor and I have recently received Alan’s and Paul’s plumbing services (1st Porter Calls) and writing this review as a very happy man – he has fixed (not taking long either) severe flooding in multiple rooms of my flat, including my shower. Sewage water was coming out of the showers and toilets due to poor drainpipe installations and thus, main drain blockages! I write this review to commend the diligent, and professional work he has supplied to myself and my four flat mates I am currently living with. He was kind, knowledgeable and a true gentleman. Whatever your plumbing issue may be, 1st Porter Calls is the company to call! I would be in no hesitation to be in contact with Alan and Paul again and I am thrilled to have a functional plumbing system.

Allan Porter first answered quickly our emergency call, then offered to come in do the job/service the next day (short lead time). He brought along his professional equipment/kit to investigate and unblock the drains, including his vast experience, knowledge and skills on what the issue could be, and the common design and problems with similar drains of a typical 1900 house (professional). On top of that, he is a good communicator, educator, advisor and hardworking person. He knows his stuff well and price we paid was really worth it (a good human). We wish him all success in his business and future activities, and we will definitely use him again if we are in a similar situation.
