I needed new mixer taps for both the kitchen and bathroom. I phoned GW Plumbing who sent Danny immediately that morning. He assessed the job explained the options and purchased the parts. He fitted both taps quickly and efficiently, did not make a mess and the whole job was done in two hours. I had found it hard to get a plumber to do a small job so now I have found one who is reliable, arrives on time and does an excellent job I will be using GW Plumbing for any further plumbing issues. GW Plumbing have provided a professional & efficient service over the last week. I've had my bathroom completely renovated and i am so happy with how it has turned out. Graham & Danny did the work, they were on time and did a fantastic job. I'd recommend using these guys

This review is from Steve and Alison, our boiler stopped working and our usual plumber did not respond nor did 3 others we tried, after 4 days of waiting for call backs we decided to try other heating engineers and gave gw plumbing and heating a call. Graham was very helpful and said he would call on his way back to his depot that evening which he did, he and Danny got us running again but some parts were required as the problem was intermittent so within a week of the call all the parts are fitted and we have a fully working boiler. The service we received was excellent right down to the removing of outdoor footwear without asking. We will certainly be ringing them first in the future. Reading some of the negative reviews nearly put us off ringing but our experience was totally different they delivered what they promised when they promised it

We had water pouring out of the overflow from the roof. Graham answered our call on a Sunday, put our minds at rest, told us what to do to stem the flow and was there for us on Monday morning. Great job, nice lads and we will be using them again. Thank you.

We have recently had two bathrooms revamped by Graham and Danny, plumbing, tiling and new bathroom worktops and cabinets. We are so pleased with the end result. I don’t really know why there are some reviews saying they don’t get in touch, we had no concerns and found all contact reliable and prompt and no concerns about their trustworthiness and gave them a house key so they could complete the work. We were impressed by their cleanliness and daily hoovering before they left. The work was obviously inconvenient but we felt they made it as easy as possible and they just got on with it which is exactly what we needed them to do. One small issue at the end with the skip but Graham quickly sorted this out for us. Also, Graham stuck to our initial budget, we increased it slightly as the work went on but this was our decision. We would recommend them to anyone!

I've not had much luck with plumbers over the years but I will most certainly be using GW Plumbing again for any work. They are efficient, hard working & finished the work on my new bathroom to a very high standard. They kept to the budget I had in mind and impressed me with the final result.

Danny is the only plumber who gave a response immediately. Though young, he is absolutely experienced and professional. After a thorough test, he smartly found out what was wrong with of our boiler He gave solid and honest advice on the way forward. We finally got the heat back before the cold days. GW Plumbing are fantastic, I've had a few plumbers over the years in York and I would never think of using anyone else now I've found GW Plumbing. When I call them I know they'll get back to me right away, and when they come to look at a problem I know I'll be treated with respect and given honest advice on how best to fix it. I've never once worried that they were lying to me to complete work I didn't need, and often go out of their way to advise me on the most cost effective way of accomplishing what I want. Beyond work on my heating, when I needed a gas fire removing they did so right away and combined with some other work to keep costs down. They also got in other trades to finish the job of perfectly making good the chimney breast and getting it plastered and completed to perfection. I can't recommend GW Plumbing enough, whether it's routine servicing you want, some adjustments to your central heating, or even big job like removing fires or replacing boilers, they can be trusted to do an amazing job at a fair price and most importantly can be trusted.

I was left without a boiler when my old one died and my plumber couldn't fit a new one for a month. He suggested GW and so I called them. They came to quote within a few hours and gave sound, objective advice. They managed to fit me a new boiler just 2 days after. They did a cracking job and were friendly, efficient and professional. Graham and Danny were everything you want in a plumbing service. Polite, helpful and prompt to respond where others were not,did everything they promised to do when they said they would and kept us the customer fully informed. Danny worked hard on Friday night to get our leaking immersion heater replaced. Every thing is now back in working order. Would recommend them.
