J. B.Very good. I have to wear insoles as I have hip problems and tend to go over on my shoe. Since wearing their shoes I have been more upright and walk for longer. I don't live in Plymouth now but when I need shoes this shop is were I go. They are very professional and will tell you if a shoe is not right for you. They measure your feet and they then take a record, which they keep . Today I wanted to get some walking shoes like I had worn before and they looked it up right away.
R. P.Have always had fallen arches/flat feet and watched my father and his brother suffer as they got older to the point of struggling to walk and using a stick. Badly damaged my foot (ripped tendons, etc.) which was my fault and didn't help, nor did the subsequent gout attacks/arthritis which were simply genetics at work. Eventually invested in my own stick as I was struggling to walk and feeling unbalanced and in pain. Had insoles from N.H.S. before but weren't great for me. Foot Solutions had a look at my feet, Joanna provided great, concise and plain advice, as well as sensible shoes with brilliant support, and custom insoles that provide stability without pain. I can walk again, and for hours too. Do I still get pain? Sure that's age and arthritis, but I get so much less pain it's easily endured unlike before. Is it expensive? Yes, but it's an investment in mobility. Cheaper than a motorised scooter and so much better for you.
R.Visited with relative to seek comfortable & elegant sandal, with specific design to protect part of foot which had proved vulnerable. On explaining shop was like no other & that relative would benefit from an hour consultation if booked, (which we had intended to do initially), it transpired any actual footwear ordered would thus come from a warehouse & would not be custome made.
Whilst it was evident Joanne knows her trade & was professional to some extent, she had little idea that her facial grimaces she pulled when relative explained damage to her feet had made relative all but give up. On reading other's reviews, it is also clear Joanne is an expert in her field on helping to correct most podiatry challenges, however it is such a shame she was unaware of how embarrassed she made relative feel. Relative had recently lost spouse so visit was to help lift spirits, sadly it put relative off altogether. My only regret is that I did not make Joanne aware of this as I'm sure she would have apologised.
D. P.I was desperate when I went to them because of the pain in my feet. They new exactly what it was and what I needed. Yes it was expensive but since I have had the insoles and shoes. I don't have any pain and can stand and walk. Worth every penny.
L.The shop has a very good selection of footwear that can accommodate all widths and sizes (as I have a very wide foot). The staff are very polite and helpful, with a clear in-depth knowledge on inserts and shoe fitting. After my visit to the store and purchasing both, my foot and back pain has improved significantly. One happy customer, who will be returning again.
A. K.I went in to Foot Solutions Plymouth around 6 months ago, after suffering with severe Heel pain. I bought a pair of custom made arch supports specific for my feet and they have worked wonders for me after a couple of weeks of wearing them! I no longer hobble around in pain and I have been able to start up running again. The team seemed very friendly and helpful when I went in for my assessment and also very knowledgeable! I would 100% recommend the store for anyone who has any foot problems!

A. M.Super place with knowledgeable and helpful staff. I have an Achilles tendon problem, and even explore the possibility of surgery because it hurt such a lot. A couple of months after my new insoles and improved shoes and walking technique, almost no pain most of the time, and I walk for miles and do exercise. What more do you want?
W. S. M.Hi I am Corinne. Years ago my horse crushed my left foot. I developed Mortons Neuroma.ouch. The only shoes I can wear now are those from Foot Solutions,.The staff knew about the condition and fitted me with an orthotic and very thick but quite fashionable shoes.

M.Popped in today as have suffered with foot pains for while and may I say the service I was offered today was first class, the young lady who served me (Lauren) was very attentive and went above and beyond to ensure I get the right solution to my predicament and in the end I finally purchased a pair of insoles which are great so far..I highly recommend, the whole staff are very helpful and friendly, one issue I had is the price of their products however to get the best results possible you have to pay a little bit more I guess, thats my one and only qualm really hopefully that can be reviewed in future :)
