There is one cashier at this PO who is OK . . . at a push. The others just can't be bothered to the point of rudeness. They make you feel that you are an inconvenience to their beverage drinking. I only go to this branch for convenience and definitely not for the friendly banter. Update - the staff have changed and are very slightly better.

I've been served by several members of staff at this post office and they always go above and beyond to help. They make sure you get the most for your money, even offer to rewrap items for the postage to be cheaper, they give tips on secure postage and are always very friendly. It is refreshing to visit this post office. Every other post office I've ever visited has been a rather hostile experience but the service at Gloucester Road always comes with a smile.

The staff are incredible and so friendly but the queues at lunchtime are insane and there's only ever one staff member on. It's not fair on them or the customers. More coverage needed during the busy hours x

The people that leave negative reviews here clearly have nothing better to do with their lives. I use this post office every day and the four members of staff that work here are such nice people. Very down to earth and always happy and smiling, would happily recommend this service to anyone local. Best PO in Bristol

They processed my postage as required, i paid then the item got there as it should have done. I didn't expect some kind of "Shopping Experience" like the poster below who quite honestly should lower their expectations of what you get out of a post office. However, i prefer this to posting a letter, those big red post boxes act like they aren't interested whatsoever, sort it out royal mail!!!

I have recently moved to the area and have started to use this post office in preference to one that I used to use (which I do when I am in the area) There are only two counters and do expect a queue at busy times and you do need to know what you require this does help speed things up at the counter To avoid too many queues try going before lunch and then you know your parcel will definitely go that day They do everything from currency and all the usual postal needs, from recorded to specials and parcels

On the contrary, I go here in preference to my local one in Horfield, who are impersonal and arrogant people who think they are doing you a favour. This place is friendly and quick.
