I use this post office regularly and I can firmly say I disagree with the negative reviews. The people giving these negative reviews are probably the people who argue with the staff about things that aren't their fault I've always found they try and ensure my parcels can be sent as cheaply as possible (by using the sizing guide to see if I can be sent as a large letter rather than a parcel). Staff actively check the queue and do their best to keep it moving by checking if anyone just needs to shop counter as they can be served faster for example. My advice to people posting, is to remember it's a busy counter inside a small shop. Come knowing what service it is you need - you can easily find the maximum sizes allowed for letter, large letter, parcel etc online. Remember if you underpay for postage, the recipient has to pay a fee to recieve it e.g if you assume your parcel fits as a large letter when it doesn't. So don't take it out on staff if they charge you the correct rate for your letters of parcels and won't send it as a cheaper size. 🙄 My only suggestion to this post office, is to arrange times for business senders to drop off their parcels. Many people arrive with massive bags full of stuff to send and they should really be using the business service where Royal Mail collects that volume of parcels from the sender's house, rather than allowing these users to hold up the queues at a tiny postoffice branch during busy hours.

Normally very pleased with their service but they have lately hired a new gentleman (the tall, skinny one). I’ve been going to this post office my whole life and have had no problems up until him. He is relatively new (a few months) and every time I go there he is either asking for help or stuck on what to do next. They need to stop him serving till he learns how the post office works and teach him to not get rude to customers when he is at fault and causing delays, trying to blame it on me because he is refusing a service that EVERY post office offers nationwide (changing coins to notes). From now on I will just be asked to be served by someone else.

I don`t feel like those bad reviews are for real but from my personal experience the service is quite good. The staff is working fast and they are really helpful. Deposits and withdrawals, travel cards and top-ups, post, money transfer, Amazon can deliver to them and you can pick it up later. Also they do not charge extra for small transactions (even £1 purchase is free from £0.50 fee or whatever) and they are instant.

Best Post Office in the area, very helpful staff and they actually know what they are doing. 10/10 ... I live in Stanmore but only go this this office because of the service. There are nearer ones to me but this Post Office is the best .. 10/10

I love this Post Office. Its so big and spacious. There are plenty of counters and during busy times regardless of how long the queues are, we are always served quickly and efficiently. It provdes alot of services anx you can always find ehat you are looking for here. I like their passport check and sign service. It saved me so much time and effort. The staff are very friendly and professional and the bloke at the shop till is such a sweetheart. He is so lovely and welcoming and once i left my oyster card by accident there and when he saw my sister he gave it to her to hand it to me which was so noble of him to do. I love this place its always worth visiting. Aso during christmas times they change their opening times and stay open until late to cater for even those with the busiest schedules.

I don't understand why there are such poor reviews. I've been using this post office all my life and even after the revamp and new staff, it's fine! I always get done what I needed to and service is fine. I'm not there to make best friends so I don't care if they aren't that smily! Always my first choice.

Have recently been using this post office since March 2019, i’ve made about 8-9 trips sending stuff etc, so far so good, no complaints. Although i’m not the type for chit chat, quick in and out, so not sure if i can validate any of the reviews below complaining about service etc.

I try not to be bored housewife when using services or shops for the purpose they are there for, noticed some of the negative comments and felt had to correct ppl’s line of thought,it’s a service,it’s away from pay and displays, it’s local be grateful,please support your local services,bcz”tomorrow,you’ll miss them when they are not there! So grow up,use it for what it is!Takes time patience and money to take the trouble to provide these services, I know I’ve seen 4 petrol stations close along Harrow Road between Wembley triangle and Harlesden,for whatever reasons,I miss them! So therefore I’m grateful for this little post office.
