This place is simply amazing. The staff here are amazingly efficient and helpful. If you need your passport photos, driving licence renewed etc, or document checked and sent this post office does it all. Barbara, Bianca and all the other staff, thank you for all your help. The only issue I have is with the customers who bring their dogs in. If you know your dog is "aggressive" please keep them close to you. On several occasions gods barked at me and other customers. On one occasion, a small dog suddenly went for my leg and bit my jeans. Since the shop is narrow, please keep your dogs close to you. You might think your dog is harmless, but we don't know your dog. Plus, the staff can't do much about this, so it is up to the dog owners to make sure their dogs stay close to them.

I've been using my local EF store for yrs both for posting, banking and purchasing various stationery.Service has always been excellent. It's so convenient to have this on our high Rd and despite the limited range of children products, it still has been a lifesaver for last minute bday party buying. I think they managed the store very well during covid. It's also one of the few stores to be dog friendly also which was very appreciated.

Yesterday I went into this UOE as I was unable to renew my driving licence. I couldn’t do the application online with DVLA as it wouldn’t link to my passport. I’m not local to the area. Unfortunately suffering with ‘chemo brain’ I wasn’t confident about how I filled in the form and what I had to do. Vicky at UOE was so helpful and went above and beyond to assist me. Lamya helped me and took my photograph - professional quality and quite the nicest photo I have had taken. Staff was friendly, helpful and cannot stress how much I appreciated their help. Wish we had such service in the area where I live.

Quick service, friendly staff, spacious shop and lots of options for postage. The prices are a little high, but I guess that's the postal industry nowadays. The shop is laid out so that you pay for your postal goods (packaging) at the first till, and then postal services at the 2nd till. It might be easier to just have one till.

We really like this post office and started to come here regularly. Service is the quickest, comparing to other PO's in the area, which is due to effective queueing system and very efficient staff members. I was a bit concerned when the old main post office closed a few years ago and the business was transferred to a shop, UOE just over the road. I needn't have been. There was an immediate massive improvement. Service speeded up and was overall more helpful and efficient. This has continued in the years since. Well done UOE! Update: UOE took over the post office in 2014. I have been using it since then (it's now 2020), and am very glad it took over from the old Post Office!

I too am a little surprised by some of the negative feedback I've read. I have to say that this is one of the most efficient post offices I have been to and the staff seem nice. I also found the price for printing colour A3 pages fair so it's sad to see that a reviewer still wanted to leave a bad review after she was refunded for a mistake she had made herself. But checking her profile shows more about her than it does UOE. Also I didn't realise their staff were expected to mind customers' children. I'm glad to see that most customers are like myself though and value the services of places like these on their local high street.

I'm somewhat astounded by all the negative comments. I love this post office, it's customer-friendly extended opening hours, clean and modern environment and stationery supplies. I use this post office all the time, rarely have to queue for long and have never had a bad experience. On the contrary, I have had plenty of experiences where the friendly upbeat staff have gone out of their way to be helpful. I have however witnessed a number of very rude customers.....

Love this store :) Good to have a small company in the area, and not a soulless chain. Super friendly staff who always go out of their way to help me and the post office service has gotten so much better since it has been incorporated into UOE. The store also looks so much nicer and fresher since they refurbished it a few months ago and I love perusing for cards and pretty stationery. Oh, and there's a post office atm attached to the shop - very handy! Three thumbs up if I had them.

I may be able to cast some light on the differing ratings that this place seems to attract. I live in East Finchley and when it first opened, I walked in and was immediately impressed by the look of the place. However the member of staff who served me was so rude that I vowed never to go there again. I don't like to name and shame so I won't say who this person was, but looking at the other negative comments I would guess that we are probably talking about the same man. The integration of the post office several years later forced me to re-enter and since then my experiences have been largely good. The same person still works there but I simply avoid him, to the extent of delaying being served until he is otherwise engaged. I generally find the younger staff in both the post office and stationery sections to be friendly and efficient. I would suggest that there could be more 'joined-up' thinking between the two sections of the premises. I was recently sold packaging for a delivery that turned out to be too large for the overseas Parcelforce service. Perhaps it could have been labelled 'only suitable for UK'. Although the two sections function as separate entities, there is no reason why their services couldn't be a little more integrated. So overall I would say that customers are likely to have a positive experience... depending on who serves them.

I really recommend this place. I wanted to print some stuff for a wedding so I went to the UOE store in East Finchley. I was served by Kamil and Emma. They were lovely, very kind and friendly. Kamil was very patient with me as what I wanted was not so easy but he immediately understood me and took the time to help me. The result was brilliant! He did an amazing job. Very happy with it. I will definitely come back. :-)

The level of service you get really depends on who you are served by and what time of day you visit. I was there once about 20 mins before closing time, wasn't quite sure which parcel box to go for and was a bit indecisive there, and got rather rude comments from a middle aged male member of staff who obviously just wanted me to complete my purchase and leave so he can close the store. On other occasions where I've used the postal service I was served by 2-3 other people who were all very nice and polite.

Went into the shop today to look for a gift for friend's birthday. I was surprised of range of products displayed on the shelfs. Couldn't make decision... However, the staff was very helpful and helped me to resolve my issue. They also provided me with the packaging materials. When I went to post office, I could be a witness of really good customer service provided with smile and efficienty (this doesn't happen so often). My first time using the store's printing services and Post Office. I found that it was great, the price for printing is reasonable, I can pay by card, the store is clean and it is certainly a better customer experience than other printing shops and post offices. It is very convenient that I can print by only sending them an email with the attachments. Only suggestion (post pandeminc of course) would be to provide with pasting materials for customers to place the delivery tags. Other than that, 5 stars service.
