Reviews of Ma Cameron's

It's one of the oldest pubs if not the oldest pub in Aberdeen. Quaint little pub with a Warren of passages with little lounges and eating / bar space spread about. Pleasant staff. Food is the normal type of pub grub sold. We were in the snug, it was exactly that.

Almost 50 years since my first visit to Ma Cameron's and while there have been lots of changes to the place in that time it's still a great place to go. Really enjoyed my visit here for a colleague's leaving doo. Excellent beer - …

Busy place. We had food and a drink. I had the mushroom pie as I am dairy free. The pie could have less crust and more mushrooms maybe a top crust and more of the lovely mushrooms and sauce. Hubby had steak pie which he enjoyed. Staff very pleasant and helpful 😊

Good place, tasty food and decently priced drinks. Have booked a room a few times and they always seem to screw it up. All round a decent local. Menus changed semi-recently removing and changing a few items so if you have been before, just check that your faves are still available.

Good traditional bar in Aberdeen. Food is very good. Waiter's great. However, I had some friends in the bar whom I hadn't seen for years. One of my friends had 16 Yr old Son who was not drinking alcohol, so he had to get turned away.

Nice quiet place, enjoyed the Quiz night.
Had Loaded Nachos .

An authentic pub experience. Lovely atmosphere in a building with hundreds of years of history on its back and plenty of hints of Scottishness and miasmas of fresh chips and lager. Lovely food as well. The lentil soup was a delight and the Scotch eggs were perfection. Highly recommended.

Nice little cozy pub for small or big party sizes and get togethers. Prices are on slightly higher side but very good food. Crowd is always very decent there with lots of family tables. It is nearly 300 years old and one of the oldest in Aberdeen. I loved it. Recommended place.

We love Ma Cameron's. Good food, polite service with a smile. Muzac just as we like it - almost inaudible where we sat - though we prefer total silence so we can hear the music of our conversation. I find the normal sized fish and chips quite sufficient but my wife dared me to try the large version - little did I know there was method in the madness. When it arrived she took half a fish away to supplement her smaller steak sandwich.
