Lovely place nostalgia, once many years ago I had my daughter's birthday party here, in their function room. Just having soda water and slice of lemon and lime. Even better there was not charge.🎉🎉

Aberystwyth Historic Venue. It has a pub area and a dance floor. The locals mix with the students, being a meeting point for people of all ages. They have recently expanded their catalog of events and offer themed nights ranging from pub quizzes to electro nights.

It's a nice place. Has a bit of a reputation but you can go there knowing they are serious about social distancing and have high expectations in terms of customer behaviour. I met some great people when I went there for a Wales footy match!

The Angel is the kind of pub you can feel at home in if you are early enough or if you are late enough, depending on what you want your home to be like. Early in the day it can be a quiet pint with a cosy mood, late at night it can be the best rawkous activity whilst being able to hear what people are saying. It's open until 4am most nights, I love The Angel and I hope you do to.

A proper pub atmosphere. Not the cleanest place and they only take cash but the staff are really friendly and so are the bouncers. Their mint Aero shots are a must have though.

Out of all the pubs in Aberystwyth the Angel is one of my favourites. Always has a great atmosphere, with an even mix of locals and students and some very interesting characters. Because of the mix of people the atmosphere is unique and worthwhile, and you are always bound to find some interesting conversation at the bar. The beer is a little overpriced but seeing as its one of the last pubs open you kind of expect it really. Good selection of spirits which tend to be better value for money than the beer. The decor is just that of your typical pub, but has a cosy feel to it. Toilets are rather small and smelly and could be improved. Overall I'd recommend it if you are looking for somewhere to end the night or even have a few drunks at during the day, worth a visit.

A very nice rustic bar. Great and cosy atmosphere when it is quite. Great selection of draught and spirits. A few things let it down, namely the lack of card payment and that it can become uncomfortably cramped when busy.

Not a bad pub, it does have a certain charm being un-gentrified. Although one of the security team was very rude to my girlfriend, we do still occasionally return because the nights they put on are decent.

The Angel is a very special place, i've never been anywhere else quite like it. Yes, it hasn't been updated since the stone-age, and yes the toilets are... "lacking", BUT, get over that and you will have an amazing time. Theres always music or some kind of event in the back room, and its quiet enough in the front that you can actually sit and talk to people without shouting in their faces and ripping your vocal cords to shreds (which seems to be a rare thing at the moment) and on top of all that the staff are brilliant. Even the door-men are different here, relaxed and easy to talk to. And also, they have woods rum. It's 70% and it's 2 quid a shot....

One of Aber's legends, if you haven't stumbled our of here at three in the morning, you can't really call yourself a local. The home of Aber RocSoc awesome staff, wonderful owners. The Angel Inn is simply one of those places. Get inside and drink
