First off the staff are very friendly and welcoming. The food is amazing, I visit a lot of Greene king pubs and this one is the best by far. Me and my friends had a lovely meal and we all agreed it was the best food from any pub in ages. I highly recommend their burgers. The pub itself is very clean and also a warm atmosphere. Would recommend to anyone.

The food was OK. Went on a Friday night early about 6.30 pm. Our food was good but once delivered we didn't have cutlery brought to us, and waiter said he would go and get it straight away asked if we wanted any sauce, my husband asked for a spicy one. After watching him serve about 3 other customers my husband had to go and ask for them. The spicy sauce was never delivered either. We didn't bother asking for it.

visited the Blackbirds today to meet up with family, we were welcomed quickly and seated at a lovely table, Liam made sure we all had menus and asked if we wanted drinks. Throughout our whole stay everything was perfect, the food was hot and delicious and the team clearly love their job as nothing was too much trouble thank you for the visit we look forward to coming back again soon

Went here with my family for a meal out, the bar staff and front of house staff were very helpful, food came out within 20 minutes and was very good, a waiter came to ask how it was and we said it was amazing and to put our compliments to the chef, would definitely come here again 100%

Lovely Sunday Roast here today.Staff really good people. Food very nice reasonably priced.Would do it again .Just one little pick the potatoes were smallish no problem with that at all very nice but if only they had put 5 on not just 3 it would really top it off.

Love this pub and very happy it's reopened. Most of the staff are lovely. Happy to be a regular. Leah is the best staff member. Love her! Always nice and helpful. Give her a raise!! She keeps this pub on its feet! Weekend staff are pretty unprofessional and need training. Prefer the staff in the week who know what they are doing. 3rd time we have been offered a free drink due to bad food so not great but it's appreciated. Would rather the service/food to be as advertised.

Very nice and friendly pub, went here after a very traumatic experience at the Bumble Bee We had not booked and were a party of 7, the staff were fantastic fitted us in and had a lovely meal. Absolute top credit to the team they turned a disaster into a stressfree meal for us. We will never set foot into the Bumble Bee again! Thankyou The Blackbirds

We came in over the weekend and what can I say it was fantastic the service was brilliant.. the team were very attentive and very efficient.. we used the app and before we knew it the drinks arrived and not long after so did our food.. it was hot and fresh and felt so good to be out eating a pub lunch again.. we felt very safe even tho it was very busy the team seemed to cope very well. The managers have really hit the nail on the head and we will be definitely coming back very soon. Please can you thank your friendly staff for such a great afternoon.

Excellent Sunday Lunch. Had Sunday lunch here yesterday and was pleasantly surprised - it was delicious and the portions were very generous. We had read mixed reviews so were not sure what to expect. All the food arrived piping hot which is always a bonus and the prices were very competitive. Will definitely be going back again.

Usually there is no issue with food and we have been here several times and understand that some of the food is pre-made. However, when you get mashed potatoes that has a leather coating as though it is yesterday's mash microwaved or has been stuck under heat lampsit'snot good. As we were with family that had specifically come up from London for a visit this was very dissapointing and my parents didn't want yo make a fuss or I would have complained.

Service and food quality were excellent. Our hosts were pleasant and attentive to our requests. The food, which arrived quickly was exactly as ordered, not including items we had said we did not want, and appropriately hot. (The Knickerbocker Glory had the correct temperatures and was a pleasure to eat.).

The food here is decent good pub grub. There are the usual variety of options including breakfasts, sandwiches, wraps, jackets etc for lunch and the usual pub grub classics. The quality of the food varies from mediocre to very decent. Always good value. The staff are friendly enough. There are a few TVs showing sport. There is a large car park which has a pay and display option but if you enter your car reg at a machine in the pub, the car park is free.

Since this place has been under new management this place has really changed for the better. The atmosphere is pleasant and relaxed and the new menu is great, offering an enjoyable selection of classic pub food and some great summer dishes, such as salads and fajitas - very enjoyable with the lovely summer weather in the sizeable beer garden, which is equipped with a kiddie's climbing frame and slide and a comfortable sheltered smoking area, with heating. The staff are pleasant and the food is great. Highly recommended!

Overall, tía is a very good place. The staff is always very kind and they are in the know about beers, soft drinks, meals, and the like. Which is always reassuring. They have the average price and the restaurant is both spacious and cosy.

When parking ignore the parking ticket machine and enter your reg on the tablet inside

They have painted the place and now the menu has gone up in price and I don't mean by a few pence. I wouldn't mind if this was reflected in the quality of the food. It appears to be the same as before, which is not a bad thing. You now have to pay for parking, (you can redeem this, a grand total of 3 times) however the member of staff seemed very inconvenienced to do this for me.

Just been here for lunch ,can't fault the food, but felt so sorry for the one lady behind the bar and also serving food with a very busy garden,bless her she was run off her feet and was getting a lot of complaints,which she had to handle on her own , Our dessert was such a long time coming we nearly gave up ,there seemed to be no one helping her at all,people were walking out,it's a shame because well priced and the food was lovely,felt like i wanted to help her myself,she deserves a medal.

Not its cheap and fun pub like it used to be, the car park is a bit confusing and the pool table is gone, drinks are expensive but its still probably the best pub in flitwick (which isnt very hard)
