We visited the Swan for a late lunch, the food was delicious. It wasn't too busy, the service was very prompt and the waitresses were cheerful. A great menu to choose from, the pea and mint risotto was excellent 🍽 The surroundings were lovely and it was spotless. Will definitely visit again.

Wonderful pub whether you’re there for drinks only, dinner, or a special occasion meal. The decor is fantastic and really cosy, with the open fire, bar seating, relaxing drinks area as well as a proper dining section at the rear. In the summer months the outdoor patio and garden is brilliant, and never suffers from a poorer service. Toilets and tables are always spotlessly clean, there’s loads of parking spaces, and the staff are welcoming and friendly. It’s a great pub and an asset to the area, and I’ll be sure to keep returning!

Me and my father had a lovely lunch here. Very nice ambience to the place- lovely decor and very clean. We had the mussels and fries and the chickpea burger, which were both very tasty. The service was fantastic- very friendly staff, especially Ben. We really enjoyed our meal here and will be back again.

I not going to lie we weren’t intending to to come here. We only can after the falcon which booked at where short and led to kitchen without then telling us I may add. However we then opted to come here and unlike the Falcon no problems what so ever. The staff where very attentive and food was divine. I don’t remember waiting to long for food either. Tried to book a table for 4 for Friday night. Unfortunately due to staff illness restaurant was closing for the weekend. What a disappointment. A nice , quaint little pub , cozy inside and on the evening of our visit a nice warming fire a-blizzy. Service was great, and all our needs attended to. We had 2 children accompanying and that were offered colouring pages and crayons. The kids enjoyed chicken nuggets with chips and sides. The food was good, our party ate mussels, which were bountiful and perfectly garlicky. Chicken and mushroom pie - a wholesome affair and a steak which was perfect. Very reasonable price too. Well done Swan, we shall definitely return.

A warm and welcoming village pub. Good for meals out with the girls or family or just drinking. Monday is Poker night with ales at just £2.50. Music nights also provided. I was very impressed with the soloist that was performing on a Sunday early evening when I popped in, I would have paid £10 to hear him perform at a venue but it was FREE!

Beautiful place, great staff, delicious food: there is nothing not to like! You probably always squeeze for a random pint however if you plan to go for a dinner or stay longer I would recommend to book in advance. This place can be very busy especially during weekends but it's worth to wait for: cosy atmosphere and lovely staff will make your visit special. What are you waiting for? Grab that phone and call!

We were pleasantly surprised, not having been to the swan since the '70s. Having decided that Wednesday was to be a day we spent together we were looking for reasonably priced lunch menus. We enjoyed our meals and the service was great. Car park was nearly empty when we arrived at 12 noon but the restaurant quickly filled up so either get there early or book a table.

We were marshalling a bike event just outside today and the staff gave us complimentary coffees. Been here before and the food was superb, today we have ordered a sunday roast for vegetarians so they cater well for us fussy eaters. Staff are so helpful. Will definitely be back thanks guys

A lovely pub. My late brother worked here a few yrs back. Went in today. Food is very well priced. Dinner and a pudding for about a tenner you can't go wrong. Have to say the one thing that stood out for us all was the dark haired young lady in there. She said she was the supervisor but her service was exceptional. She was fast but always very polite. There was also a blonde young lady who also offered a good service as well. Keep up that service guys. Hopefully see you again soon.

Great little country pub just outside Bedford. Popped in whilst I was in the area on a Monday night and joined in with their regular poker evening. A very friendly place, lovely staff and, of course, excellent beer! Thank you for making me feel very welcome!

Very comfortable and stylish interior since the recent refurbishment and lovely log fire in bar area. However the "senior menu" no longer being served nor was the alternative "£7.99" menu so dining has become more expensive. We paid £10.99p for the main course - chicken, leek and mushroom pie. It was delicious. However we usually go for a budget teatime get together so it's become quite a lot more to pay than previously. I recognise that the prices are still reasonable for evening dining out. It's just that we weren't doing that. Still recommended though.

We had a fabulous meal. Finding anywhere on a Monday, that does good pub food (actually excellent food,) is so difficult around Bedford/Wootton This was great service, delightful staff, a superb IPA and at 4pm when everywhere else is shut, an oasis in a desert. Great food guys. We will be back!

Just refurbished. Staff friendly but didn't seem to know what they were doing. We were given the wrong menu and told we could only have Sunday roast. That was nothing like roast chicken as it was a wrap with loads of stuffing. Stuffing was awful and that's all we could taste. They were very apologetic and didn't charge for the meal but not a great reopening

I feel bad only giving 3 *. Staff were very friendly and cask ales were good and varied. We both had salmon which was a bit overcooked. My wife ordered it on a bed of vegetables which must have run out as she mostly got potatoes which weren't part of the 600 cal dish. No spinach on my salmon florentine and no real substitute though in fairness we were told this when I ordered.

I have to congratulate the Swan at Bromham for their amazing attention to detail re covid regulations. We started lunching often there between lockdowns throughout that time and again now they are open. The team are just so thorough I feel safer there than I do anywhere else. I know in these times it can't be easy to both keep to covid regulations and have a smile on one's face knowing how much money is being lost but they do a grand job. And food is well decent too (my mushroom and stilton sunday lunch yesterday was awesome). Of course, it isn't the same nowadays going to a pub for a meal and a drink or two, but they all do their best. Would hate to lose the pub from the village we moved to in September ....

It’s hit and miss with the food depending which cook is on and what time of day ... a few weeks ago I had a lovely portion of fish and chips yet two days ago I had a caeser salad which someone had yelled “et tu brute “ at and It had died a horrible death ! Steak & kidney pudding was not cooked properly, very stodgy. The mash potato was so small it was not worth having Waited an hour for our dessert, when it came the crumble came with a small amount of custard & I had ordered cream. Staff seemed more interested in serving workmen at the bar rather than seeing to people who were eating. Won't be back anytime soon This was a pub used by us on a regular basis. Car park usually full but wben we arrived was verually empty.

While the food was very good the service was awful. It took a 'nudge' for our drinks to arrive, we resorted to going to the bar for refills, it was an hour before we got starters and our main course came over 2 hours after we we had arrived. Had there just been the two of us I would have complained and declined to pay the whole bill.
