I loved it there for my first proper night out it was amazing so many friendly people great drinks great music only downside was I had to go as it was getting to packed and my anxiety was starting to play up but other then that loved it

Friendly bar staff and nicely done out inside. A fun atmosphere with a good mixed crowd and a nice smoking area. A few odd sorts and quite a lot of people who can't handle their drink too well. One twinky little git got nasty when he didn't get a free cigarette off me and a couple of very pissed overweight attention-seekers deliberately "fell" across us on the sofa. Oh and an elderly lesbian in a silver suit undid her shirt and got her droopers out! But that's a gay bar for ya and it's good to see a place thriving in Bedford.

great little venue with a lot of interesting history, although it is quite small

The atmosphere in this bar makes you feel welcome 100% of the time the bar staff and drag queen give the place life and a sense of community. The prices are more than reasonable with deals to keep you going all night and the dance floor is always packed with great people. I'm glad it's re opened and will be going here for many years to come.

I find the music here is a little loud and not really to my taste but the garden is nice and friendly - it's not purely a gay pub, in fact it's really easy to chat to women here on a friendly level because they generally assume you're gay even if they aren't
