Great little pub, very old style but a great drinking pub, big garden and good beer on tap.
S. D.A small freehouse that I've been going to for many years. The landlord and lady, who have been running it for as long as anyone can remember, are both lovely people who make you feel welcome and are more than happy to talk. Good selection of beers, spirits, soft drinks etc and pub snacks on offer, plus there is a great big garden for when the weather is good (public barbecues are occasionally put on for all who want to come). Don't be put off by there only being a few people in, it's a quiet little friendly pub which is an excellent place to have a drink in alone or with some friends, and contrary to what you may see, sometimes it will be completely packed.
