I had the cottage pie, very good, then a trifle for dessert, very tasty.

J. W.Stopped here today on the off chance for lunch. Our first visit but we were treated like old friends. A superb menu concentrating on a smaller selection of high quality choices, cooked to perfection. My husband raved over his beef suet pudding and I had probably the nicest burger I've ever found on a pub menu. If we were ever in the area we would definitely return. Friendly, welcoming and great food!

P. Z.This is good honest pub food. They don’t try and make out they are anything else. The price is very reasonable and you definitely wont leave feeling hungry as they are generous portions.
The staff are really helpful and the place has a nice friendly atmosphere.
