Lovely pub for a special occasion meal and the atmosphere inside is lovely. The staff are all friendly and very professional and the decor is both cosy and sophisticated. The bar area is quite small and on a busy night it can be quite crowded if you’re wanting a drink before the meal but fortunately the tables in the main dining area are much more spacious. The menu has a good range and all the dishes were served in good time, presented beautifully. The portion sizes made for good value and everything was cooked perfectly. Overall it was a really enjoyable meal and I can’t wait to return, even for a special occasion.

Had dinner on a Saturday night. There was a large party in the conservatory so thought things may slip, but everything was great. Lovely atmosphere, delicious food and amazing staff.

Good pub lovely surroundings. First time at this venue. Good choice off beers and ales.
Ordered tomatoe and halloumi bruschetta for a starter. Bruschetta bread was so hard as to be brittle.
Ordered lamb main which was fine
steak main with peppercorn butter unfortunately peppercorn was unavailable so my wife had blue cheese instead
and i had moulles frittes.
We all thoroughly enjoyed our meals. I
I would definitely return.

Absolutely amazing food and the friendliest staff. From the moment we arrived the staff were amazing with our kids, drinks within 5 minutes off arriving, lovely atmosphere and great menu. Highly recommend

Out on a group social evening & were seated in a separate room. Service was good & staff were helpful & pleasant. We had a 3 course meal ( chosen before the event) & overall the food was good value for money. My large glass of wine was pricey.

I arranged a surprise party at the pub for my partner and the whole experience was fantastic. Ramona was particularly helpful when organising the party and made it easy for me.
The garden room was a lovely setting for a party of 20 people and on the night the service was great and the food was all perfect.
I will definitely be hosting there again! Thanks to everyone who made the night so special. Looking forward to visiting again soon!

Nice atmosphere nice food and a vegan choice which is a bonus. Lovely garden on warm days. Very pleasant staff and reasonable priced food. Worth a visit if your passing.

Pleasant interior but I had the worst food I've experienced for a long time. My husband chose duck rolls from the small dishes, which all sounded original and interesting. However, the dish had obviously been microwaved, so was soggy and greasy and did not seem freshly-made.. Bizarrely, it was served on a bed of chick-peas - a very strange fusion which did not work. Unfortunately, my husband is not fusty and rarely comparison, which us not helpful to chefs. I hope the pub will take this as a constructive criticism.
