Great dinner lovely presented, well cooked staff polite and courteous, I would recommend to anyone

The Errigle does it again! Been coming here years and I know why. Attention to detail is superb. Not just with the food but also with the specialist drinks. Thank you very much! Magnificently we will float
into the Errigle.........

My sister and I called in yesterday afternoon for food and drinks we were looked after by Adam. His service skills are superb, nothing too much trouble could not have been more helpful and attentive. Food was great also, especially the jam sponge and custard! 😋

Love this pub very much, Guinness is great as always, however; although the veggie menu looks good and promising, the pumpkin and chestnut roast was a bit of let down as the chasseur sauce on the menu turned out to be heated up tinned tomatoes. Sunday veggie roast is usually class but wouldn't bother otherwise.
D. J.
The main course on the Sunday carvary was 110% but the starter was a just ok and the desert was very bland, I wouldn't pay for the 3 course due to the blandness of the desert, but as it was Sunday carvary you had a choice or mix of things. I will say again though the main was delicious, I had a mixture of meat, roast beef, turkey ham and stuffing, which was flawless with homemade Yorkshire pudding. If I was to back I probably would just have the main as I hate paying for bland food and it was also a bit over priced for the location and decor of the place, it needs a revamp upstairs in the disco hall where they serve the Sunday carvary.

Took a while to get a seat there was nobody at the desk but we got a seat eventually the food was good and the staff were attentive .Would probably go again only not during cup final day.

E. J. C.
Really nice pints of Guinness and food was amazing. The pulled pork burger was delicious
J.
Food fabulous, good prices, staff friendly, lovely big pub, plenty of room upstairs and down. Been here twice now, definitely be back.
B. M.
Super spot for sports and food. Excellent fayre and service all round. Defo the best pub in Belfast.
N. C.
Amazing food, attentive staff, casual vibes. Upstairs outdoor area has heated seat! Highly recommend
A.
Only came here for a pint last week, but wish we could have stayed longer. Very nice Guinness
G. R.
♿✔️ Large entrance and quite spacious rooms, unsure about dining as I didn't get the chance to go in to see for myself.
Came here late one night with my parter, greeted by the door staff nicely and bar staff were equally nice! Service was quite quick as well with a good amount of staff you weren't left standing for long!
D. J.
Went there for a 60th birthday for my friend and I can say that the food was excellent and our waiter was very good.
E. H.
Great selection of beers, including rotating taps which change regularly.
Good bar for watching the football and also the rugby (shows all the Ulster matches) and has lots of screens so always able to see the action.
Worth getting there early tho if it’s a big match as it will get busy!

Brilliant place for a night out. Nice beer farmagedon😋
S. R.
10 out of 10 for value, for friendliness and atmosphere. Had a wonderful meal here on Thursday evening. The food was amazing as was the choices. A+. Thank you.
F. S.
Lovely bar just outside of Belfast enough that you aren't dealing with the "Belfast crowd." Staff was friendly and attentive, locals are great. Good selection of drinks.
l.
Nice bar,bit pricey but good atmosphere
M. B.
A nice place for a pint. Staff are friendly and there are several different rooms, the main room, a sports bar, the oak which is quiet and no screens and the upstairs rooms and rooftop. There is a large selection of drinks. It is however quite expensive for both drinks and food.
K. M.
Great Food. Love the beer selection and friendly helpful staff.
M. O.
Great supporting local music. Could do with a bit of sprucing up.
T. K.
Friendly staff, accommodated for 6 people for lunch without any hassle. Even replaced a full meal (at no extra charge) when one of us accidentally poured hand sanitizer over their food thinking it was vinegar.
s. l.
Excellent food and service at the table. Staff are well trained.
Only negative point was that we waited at the door for admission for at least 10 minutes . Our family party were texting us from inside wondering why we were late.
Staff serving outside tables did not acknowledge our presence.
M. M.
Lovely friendly helpful staff, meal very tasty+hot. Shall return
K. L.
only one cask ale on when on this visit but a good Farmageddon ale it was
D. S.
Felt very safe, the food and service was excellent, the waitor was friendly and very efficient.

Well ladies and gentlemen the wonders of gymnastics can happen anywhere even in the bogs.
I'm waiting to go to the toilet and this guy pushes past me when the cubicle door opens and claims he's a manager of this toilet.
What happens next makes me stand and stare in awe at the gymnastics of these two feet suddenly lifting up to the top of the cubicle as he does a handstand in the toilet and goes for a wee and as I hear it hit the water I realise be awkward for that last dripple that will surely hit his face.
In the end the feet lower and he proceeds to leave without washing his hands. Which is a shame can do incredible things apart from wash his hands in these trying times in fact I wonder if he was able to shake it at the end before leaving.
J. E.
Fantastic food the Sunday lunch was gorgeous we will definitely be back again and the staff were very friendly.
P. B.
Love the oak lounge in the back. Very laid back traditional ambience. Prices are reasonable for food and portions are a little lighter but more than adequate. Very good value and satisfying. Only niggle is that they promote fancy cocktails which they end up having to get from front bar leading to delays on busy nights.
G. M.
Great spot for a quiet pint. Or five. Try the Jaipur - an awesome beer I haven't been able to find anywhere else.
J. M.
Got to bar/s before bulk of ulster fans arrived. A great atmosphere when everyone arrived. We decided to eat upstairs food above average for bar food but well served by a young attentive staff.
Guinness both downstairs and upstairs excellent .
Pity Ulster rugby bars do not know how to serve w a good pint.
J. M.
Went in for lunch and had an epic burger!!! Table service and staff were awesome too! Definitely worth a visit!
s. c.
Lovely food. Great service.
M. D.
Always get looked after in Errigale. Bar service at it's best.
a. m.
I had a good beef burger and fries, the waiting staff were polite, I did not see the traditional music session because they came 10 pm instead of 9.30. I was ready to go back home. After all the pub is nice, I like the old pubs.
K. E.
Love this place. Gunness to die for
T. G.
As always the food was excellent and the staff couldn’t have been more welcoming. The COVID-19 provisions were very impressive & reassuring. Temperature check on entrance, one way system through out, perspecs dividers between tables and all staff wearing masks the whole time. Much appreciated 😀
M. J.
Good pub-grub style food at great prices. I've been going here for dinner for years and the food has been just as well presented and tasty as ever.
The portion sizes are large and the service is very fast. It has a very homely/traditional atmosphere and the Inn itself is well decorated.
S. /. f.
Good friendly bar in a cultured area of Belfast, the food is always excellent if your into traditional Irish cuisine. The also have a great selection of wines, pale ale and beer.
The serving staff in the restaurant are very laid back, however they are always easy to call over if anything is required, this creates a very relaxing atmosphere.
D. M.
A few Christmas beers. Great atmosphere
F.
Very relaxing, i leked it and i really like the way the people treat you over there 😍
n. m.
Nice Guinness, great food.
W. S.
Great atmosphere to this bar, when there I was pointed out that there was no music playing or t.v. on however his didn't seem to bother anyone as the entire room was filled with laughter and conversation! Prices for the bar were reasonable, really enjoyed my time there!
A. B.
Been going here on Sunday evening for a few years now and enjoy the relaxed atmosphere and nature of the bar. Staff are great and the Guinness is even better. A great bar for a quiet drink or for watching sport.
N. B.
Ordered some takeaway food tonight and even after the drive back to Lisburn the food was perfect! Great portion sizes. Delicious food. Can't recommend enough!
S. P.
Called in with the my 3 year old son and fiance, there was no seats so we got our own booth in the sports bar. Drinks dynamite, foods better. Try the chicken wings. Lovely.
M. B.
Pure quality in all areas. Plenty of space indoor and outdoor. Staff are friendly and professional, decor pleasing and always clean. Best bar in Belfast. 👍🍻🍺
M. S.
Delicious meal. Friendly atmosphere. Staff very welcoming and helpful. Very professional service.
M. O.
Love the food and atmosphere here but the roast beef dinner wasn't upto the usual yummiest that I've had before. Still would recommend... a great place.
S. R.
A great range of beers here and friendly atmosphere. Food is reasonable but not very exciting. Avoid the chocolate brownie desert - it looks to have already passed through another's digestive system before arriving on the plate.
A. M.
One of the busiest pubs in this part of Belfast. Love to come here to meet friends as is so local, has good vibe, food and staff. Plenty of people on weekend nights, great to have The Errigal at Ormeau Rd!
G. M.
Well, the service was good, and the food was good. It's what you expect, right? So 5 stars all the way.
But, what is it that people go to the Errigle for? What attracted that over 30's crowd for decades? Craic? Yes! And how do we as a nation create craic? Togetherness. Covid has robbed the Errigle of Craic! Never thought I'd have to say that, but there it is.
J. K.
"Local pub" with a wide range of beers to choose from and a smaller selection of wines. Food is fantastic pub grub style and entertainment is mainly reserved for the weekends. A great little spot to catch up with friends.
L. M.
Good hearty food. Nice chill environment and decently priced! Definitely could be a regular venue if you don't want to cook and want a nice chill evening
J. M. L.
Great Bar. Really love it here. the food is great - really tasty. The coffee is first class - ask them about it they have all be sent on baristo training. And there are 6 bars in the one complex (yes 6), The Oak Lounge is my favorite.
D. I.
A good, no non-sense pub on the Ormeau Road. The Errigle Inn is a great spot for having a couple of drinks with friends. There are multiple bars with different feels, plus an upstairs for gigs and functions. The bars are very traditional with a nice atmosphere which is refreshing during this new wave of trendy bars that have a tendency to feel sterile. If you want a no non-sense bar with nice atmosphere and a good selection of drinks, the Errigle is a good shout any night of the week.
M. M.
Fantastic bar, amazing food and super friendly service. One of the few bars in Belfast that serves a great pint of Guinness!
A. M.
Great food, lovely atmosphere, the fire was very welcome on such a cold night but the staff were definitely the stars. So helpful, pleasant and attentive. Will definitely be back!
P. C.
Genuine great local pub in South Belfast. Filed with good people. Everyone knows this bar and everyone loves to come here for a few drinks. You won't be disappointed.
G. H.
The Errigle has been a stalwart of the Belfast pub scene for decades.
The atmosphere in the public bar is frentic and fun. The other less so but if you want somewhere a quiet drink I might suggest somewhere else.
There is a function room used for live groups and various other functions. It's a bit dated but comfortable enough.
M. R.
Fantastic pub, great atmosphere, plenty of outdoor space and the friendly staff are brilliant.
B. M.
Love this venue. Busy crowded bar when sporting events happening either locally or on television. Vibrant happy atmosphere and yet the restaurant is an oasis of calm.with a fantastic varies menu.
F. H.
Felt safe, and area well led out, social distance, and staff kept on top of drinks orders.
E.
My daughter and I are visiting from Scotland and we weren't sure where to go for lunch. We def made the right choice going here. Great food, huge portions and the waitress who served us was lovely. Will definitely go back for another meal before we leave😊
M. K.
The Errigle Inn has been the main bar on the Ormeau road for as long as I can remember! The food is really good and there is a disco upstairs which has people in their mid-thirties (like me) thinking they were in their late teens. Keith keeps the tunes going and they are all classics. Well worth a visit. There is a quiz on a Monday night as well, though not as well attended as it was the last decade or so.
P. R.
Fantastic large pub with multiple rooms. 4 real ale in heritage back bar. A must visit when in Belfast Friendly staff , easy to get to by bus 6c or any 7.
A. k.
Very nice bar, great staff. I visit often
d. w.
Good beers. Good food. Good selection of bars for any event: mates, football, family. They also do a loyalty card which is a first.
J. M.
Yummy food but limited menu!
R. M.
The Errigle is grand, if awfully expensive. Lots of different bars. The Oak is the loveliest, with no music or distractions, and beautiful old stain glass windows and wooden panelling & parquet floors.
I've never understood why they put their traditional music session in the Pinewood Bar, where there are distracting screens with sport on them, when there are better places they could have it.
Sometimes being in the Errigle is like being at a wedding of someone you don't really know...
K. M.
Great food and service ...the place has been revamped and looks really good
F. C.
Lively pub well served downstairs and a great space upstairs for gigs
C. M.
My friend brought her sister and I to the Errigle Inn to-day for our lunch. The food was delicious. The service was good and the staff very pleasant. We will certainly be back again. So many choices on the Menu we were spoiled for choice.
4th Dec. 2014. Back again to the Errigle Inn. Food just as delicious as last time. Had room for a dessert which was absolutely to die for. The waitress who served was very pleasant and helpful and gave us adequate time to study the Menu.
D. H.
Never ordered a pork chop in a restaurant in my life, thinking it would be pretty plain, but I would literally eat that meal again right now if it was put infont of me😑
Perfect amount of everything and all prepared and presented in the most professional way. Miles above and beyond what I would have expected given the massively reasonable price.
Service was really quick and, again, really professional. 5 stars all round.
I am absolutely not one for giving reviews and ratings but definately worth it on this occassion. Well in Errigle😎
D.
Perfect place to watch sports, have a meal. The steak is nice! Also good atmosphere for social ones on the weekends. Door staff polite and the crowd is decent too!
A. S.
It says no Soccer Shirts, but I saw an Arsenal shirt in here. Can staff, management & patrons not follow rules?
A. M.
Great food and fantastic staff, willing to go above and beyond to help out with even the most random of requests. Looking forward to my next trip already!
A. A.
Great bar and food. Obeys the covid rules to keep people safe
D. G.
Excellent pub and food great atmosphere great however bar staff could be more attentive... can be problematic getting served when busy they seem to congregate in one area neglecting customers at opposite end
Of bar
P. M.
Great to get back to a real pub. Good food and drink.
G. W.
Great bar with a fab range of beers. Added bonus of having live music upstairs in the arbele lounge. Friendly bar and door staff too
A. G.
The Best pub in South Belfast, biutifull food and perfect to watch the Rudby mach
L. L.
It used to be the best pub in Belfast and my favourite. It generally has good staff and therefore good service, plus a good selection of drinks. But the food is a bit ropey and poor value, plus it desperately desperately needs a make-over. It should retain a traditional/classic look but the "island" part in the main bar should be removed and the whole place updated. There should be more live music and greater use of the 1st floor space. The Oakroom should remain untouched. Further to the above, recently I ate at The Errigle and found the menu had changed and indeed was quite good. I had a hamburger and fries and that meal was good. In addition, mt previous description was not exactly on point - the menu was dated and boring which in turn led to it being poor value, is what I really wanted to say. Ropey would indicate the food was of poor quality - which it was not. All my other comments stand.
J. R.
Great Craic. Easy, local pub that you can go to in a dress or a pair of jeans. Friendly staff and good range of drinks options. Food on a Sunday is very nice.
D. K.
Lived for a time on Ormeau and really came to love this bar; serves more than just the usual Diaego green labelled lagers. There's load of different IPAs, ales, and beers in general. It won't be a boring drink, and lots of local ones like Hilden too.
The pub quizzes and atmosphere are really good. Really nice bar staff (and they didn't throw me out when I once fell asleep there :P )
Definitely worth going to try it out but the consensus seems to be it's awesome, and I concur
c. k.
Nit a bad wee spot , very nice and friendly staff and a good pint as well, will try the food next time
T. H.
It's a nice pub, however it's massively over-priced and seems to charge a good 20% more on most things than ought to be the case. They don't seem to care, probably as the Errigle is something of a destination point for people who don't live in the area.
L. M.
Great place to watch the rugby. Warched the Ulster v Cheetahs game last night. Great wee crowd. Good atmosphere. Good staff and food if yoj want it.
Errigle - put it on your website that you are showing each game UPSTAIRS on the BIG SCREEN and with COMMENTARY.
Then everyone will know for sure it is on and you really then will make the ERRIGLE- THE HOME OF RUGBY!!!
K. M.
Great bar with fantastic atmosphere. Caters for all types very popular with local Rugby fans. Loads of varied enterainment on offer.
T. N.
Great pub, plenty of staff so not waiting too long for a drink.
Food looked look but didn't have any.
Y. M.
A visitor from USA wanted to see a football match. We had Sunday lunch in the Sports bar .Delicious.This is a huge bar with lots of different spaces for all types.Staff is friendly, efficient and professional.Errigle needs no introduction to locals. It is popular and lively .That speaks for itself
G. F.

Great for good beer and a bite to eat. Bit of a maze with many different bars but the untappd screen makes ordering easy and staff are happy to help.
J. B.
Very cosmopolitan bar/restaurant with an eclectic range of beers, & a choice of some 4 or 5 real ales. Food excellent and staff always eager to please.
A. G.
Great pub, Havent eaten here but there's a good range of beers including craft beers. Staff are very helpful. Love coming to this pub!
M. E.
Good lunch menu, lovely outdoor seating, they've adapted well to the situation and deserve your custom
B. C.
Errigle Inn has always and, I imagine, will always be one of the most authentic places in Belfast for a pint. If you are a tourist and want to experience 'real' Belfast then this is one of the places to go
D. B.
Good service and food. Drink samples were provided to introduce customers to new or improved drinks. Good value.
J. G.

Nice and busy spot. Small but decent menu , good sized portions. Seems to be plenty of staff floating about i wasnt kept waiting very long at all.
C. M.
Nice enough bar, but too expensive. Never any offers, as opposed to pavillion bar beside it, which has great food too. When it came to closing time usual rush by doormen to get out!!
P. M.
Really enjoyed a friends birthday here resently, great list of tunes played in the downstairs bar with a list of craft beer/cider and good food.Well worth the visit.😀

K. B.
One of the best craft beer bars in town, good atmosphere, cheaper than woodworkers!
P. C.
The courtesy, or rather the lack of it, by some bar staff, needs attention. I hadn't realised how widespread that view is. I guess it's not an issue for the management.
J. S.
Super pub! Good choice of ales. Meeting place for fans before Ulster rugby. Didn't eat but food looks good pub fare.
J. E.
Its been many years since I have been here. The food was lovely and great atmosphere.
