I like it. Good place to meet friends. Amazing live music, I'm fascinated.
I didn't like the fact that the toilet was on the last floor, far far away ... 🏃😁But at least there are signs 😅
D. M.
We booked a table in this very popular pub/ restaurant. The food and atmosphere were great. We didn't try the Dead Rabbit whisky but maybe next time 😉
A. L.
Friendly staff, great service considering we were a large group, enjoyed the food and a nice range of drinks on offer as well as some live music, pretty good for a Monday night!
D. L.
Slow night but so much going on. Had a blast as the music was amazing and the drinks were cold! Very quaint and inviting alleyway with surprises at every corner.
H. B.
Henry’s is fantastic!!! The music, the atmosphere, everything!!! The staff were so lovely and full of banter!! The food was delicious and the vibes were great! Me and my friend had something to drink and we had the time of our lives! Only problem was the restrooms had many stairs! Both me and my mate got lost. We then eventually found our way in the end! 😂 Also would’ve loved to have seen the live music but oh well!! Definitely coming back here and looking forward to more tasty food again!!
R. D.
Our reservation was for 7:15 our drink order was took at 7:45 and the our food order shortly after
We then waited about 20 minutes for our food but we had a big group so thought that was quiet good.
The food was AMAZING
However after waiting nearly half an hour to order and watching tables that came in after us get served first I could understand the £16 service charge.
P. S.
Popped in for a wee bite to eat. Had an excellent meal with the missus, food is really outstanding. Friendly and helpful staff and a real buzz about the place on a Friday afternoon. Been before but thought time to air my views. Definitely be back.
C. M.
Really nice bar situated right in the City Centre. Relaxed atmosphere which gets a mix of clientele from city centre workers to people in town for the day to tourists, and a younger crowd in the evenings especially at the weekends. Can be a bit pricey but that is expected where it is situated. Well known for good food. Very good staff as well. All in all a top bar/restaurant which suits most people in some way.
d.
Quality bar, always packed. Good music/entertainment. Service is a bit slow but that's down to the amount of customers & cocktail/mixed drinks being ordered.
Toilets are a trek away up all the stairs! Main downfall
K. T.
Live music on a Monday, buzzing atmosphere after 7pm, good vegan options, Aspall cider on tap. Great service despite being very busy. Loved the building itself!
S. R.
The Vintage looking interior is fantastic. There were live music and the singer was really good! I didn't have be on queue for a table.
M.
The food was really good when we had it. However, the 'V' against items for vegetarians was questionable. As strict vegetarians we also double check if all items aren't cooked in the same fryer as meat or fish, especially with one of us also having an allergic reaction to fish products.
The halloumi burger with fried egg on top was marked with a V as suitable for vegetarian. But when we questioned staff about the fries that came with the burger, they informed us the chips were cooked in vegetable oil, however, they were actually cooked in the same fryer as meat/ fish products. Thus was highly disappointing to say the least, especially with one with a severe allergy to fish. The staff were extremely helpful, and swapped the chips for mash. The food was awesome when it came, but Henry's really need to work on the menu so trust can be developed by customers.
B. L.
Most amazing atmosphere, nice live music and good cocktails. Definitely gonna try the dinner as soon as possible
M. R.
Best steak and Guinness pie, with champ and seafood pie so far in Ireland. A wee bit down the alley, but worth the trip.
V.
Live music, full range of beers on tap and excellent shared starters. Don't forget to order oysters and soup. Main courses are good as well.
L. P.
The steak sandwich was fantastic! They had both Guinness and Guiness 0.0 on tap to make us happy!
G. M.
First time @Henrys really loved it. Staff were pleasant and helpful. Service was great and food delicious.
Lovely relaxed atmosphere although it was early afternoon and quiet.
I. B.
The bar is great with friendly staff and a cozy atmosphere. We were on Sunday and there was live music. Food is excellent.
F. G.
Henry's is a great spot for a meal and a drink. Great service and spacious atmospheric environment. Would recommend to start you evening in Belfast.
S. _.
Had friends visiting and went to Belfast for NYE and accidentally came across this bar and restaurant . Was highly impressed and was definitely the highlight of the evening. Staff were brilliant and gave us a reserved table temporarily until the time of booking. Got 2 sharing platters and wine and it was all amazing and at a brilliant price. The traditionally Irish music was great and all of the different bars, gin bar and roof terrace. Best place in Belfast. Highly recommend. Can't wait to get back.
J. C.
Very nice vibe in this place food amazing
J. R.
Inly been for drinks but will come back and tell more! Lovely range of beers, and the irish coffee was grand. Nice polite young staff.
W.
Lovely bar ,attentive and obliging staff, didn't have food so can't comment on it
G. D.
A best place to hang out on weekends with multiple beer options and you can specially in summer as the ambience is just made for having drinks and enjoying music.
S. M.
Great vibe, super service, different areas to chill, listen to music and have a bit of craic. Deffinately would recommend
B. B.
Brilliant place and first class food. Music very much on the "too loud side"
M. B.
Came here for a colleagues leaving work get together. Great atmosphere. We had evening meal here, food and service very good. Staff serving drinks to tables very good. Traditional music session, later in evening. I will definitely return to this bar. On the down side, you can only have tables for a number of hours. There were 9 of us and waitress wanted to move all of us out to accommodate a table of 3. We had a compromise. Thanks all. 😊
D.
Good drink selection, lovely food, nice live music upstairs, and pretty sophisticated vibe.
T. T. C.
This bar has fairly changed since I was last there! Love the decor. Some selection of drinks behind the bar too. Good food and company too. Looks lovely lit up at night and great ambiance in the different sections of the bar. Will definitely head back there.
P. G.
Great local music atmosphere and the Sugar Pit Pork was delicious!
J. L.
Drinks were good, crack was mighty but the 'Goalith' burger left alot to be desired... Was more like a David burger.
s. l.
Absolutely amazing bar, friendly staff and the singer that was on (Wednesday) was amazing, will definitely return
L. P.
The visit to Henry's can be best described as a game of two halves. The chowder was incredibly tasty with lots of fish and an excellent smoked flavour running through it. I'd even go as far as saying it tastes as nice as the Chowder at Mary Barry's of Kilmore Key which is high praise indeed from me as I've never before had a chowder to match it. The chicken with tarragon however was average. The roast potatoes tasteless.
The staff however were very friendly. I'd certainly recommend calling here if you're in the area.
L.
Great location, and ambience. We went Thursday night so it was a quiet crowd. Please note that you order and pay for your drinks online. Staff just brings out the drinks to you.
C. H.
Solid burger and a beer for about 10 pounds
A. G.
Great Guinness, great service, tasty good and made better by being dig friendly.
R. G.
Lovely place staff are friendly helpful and attentive which is perfect. Must say the food is amazing unreal, I'd definitely recommend here. Think it's my favourite place atm
H. J.
Enjoyed the experience and the food was nice. Cosy inside, nice service and good choice of food and drink. Music could be quieter or at least something more to suit the ambient rather than heavy rock which was playing at the time.
O. P.
Nice cosy place with tasty food and quick service 😍😍😍 pics are not the best😆
G. C.
Not everything on the menu was available. What I did have was nice.
E. H.
What a find.....all hidden away and then so warm and welcoming. I can recommend the "snapshot"
K. M.
Slightly annoyed that the remote app for table service no longer works but still a great bar with history to visit in the city.
W. C.
Food and drink top class, staff the same standard.
A.
Really friendly staff and great vibe for casual drinks
A. K.
Great barman. Very dark inside.
L. C.
First visit here but will be back. The food was lovely and the staff were friendly and helpful.
P. C.
Used to be called McCrackens but has been refurbished and remnamed Food was very good but expect to pay City Centre prices for drinks nearly £9 for a white wine Spitzer and £5.40 for a Cider. Beer Garden on the roof terrace but you have to book. Service was excellent so would recommend. Would normally go to the Northern Wigg as it's prices are more competitive and you can watch the world go by unlike Henry's which is completely enclosed but it now only opens at the weekend.
R. H.
Been coming here for years under its various names and it has consistently good food. Only issue last night was the staff kept getting drinks wrong, even the drinks ordered via the app. However they rectified this each time. In the last remodel the restrooms were moved upstairs, leaving one disabled loo on the ground floor. Should maybe consider locking it , cleaning regularly or making it for women and people with disabilities only as the state of the floor and smell was unpleasant.
J. P.
Absolutely Love this place. Great live music and atmosphere
L. R.
Food was great, we will definitely be back
P. B.
Big shout out to the 2 lovely ladies That help me in the bar when I got lost Because the toilet was two miles away lovely Guinness
K. B.
Great food, great atmosphere
M. Q.
Amazing food. Amazing customer service
G. H.
The staff are lovely, but the venue was cold and they had no sauvignon blanc, the menu is a little unvaried
G. B.
Stunning bar, great layout and friendly atmosphere. Didn't eat on my visit but the cocktails were great.
T. H.
I love Henry's and the Jailhouse, I reckon it is the best spot in Belfast! It has a fantastic atmosphere with lovely decor in all areas throughout. The food is very good and there is a great variety of drinks on offer. The only criticism I have, is the amount of bar staff on, for a place as busy as it is I would like to see more people serving drinks. I stood for almost 25 minutes at one point trying to get served!!! Some of my friends have said this also. Apart from that it's flawless.
c. m.
Nice casual place, extensive drinks menu but very rarely had the ingredients to make them. Food is mediocre and the place is very dimly lit.
S. R.
Super setup here and nice drinks
S. A.
Just love this wee spot, relaxing, great food, friendly staff, A.1
B. W.
This bar is an absolute gem and a hidden one at that!
We accidentally found Henry's when we was just wandering around and exploring Belfast.
From the moment we walked in we loved the atmosphere. It felt warm and cosy even though it's a fair old size inside.
The staff were all very pleasant and friendly and the food was fantastic.
We hope to return next time we visit Belfast 😁
C. F.
Great bar, prompt service and high quality cocktails. Espresso Martini was outstanding, but you pay for the quality.
R. S.
Great place good food and great music
C. O.
Food really good. Attention paid to distancing and staff all wearing masks. Bit of a fusty odour where I sat, but it's an old historical brick building. Again really enjoyed all the food especially the mussels
M. B.
Great pub with a lovely atmosphere and friendly staff
L. K. D.
Friendly staff, interesting surroundings and good cocktails. Had some issues with the food but these were mostly resolved for us.
A. M.
Great service and food. Live music so good 👍
G. R.
Fantastic small bar with a good atmosphere and extremely friendly staff.
J. F.
Nice and open area, good to watch sport. Large selection of drinks.
P. S.
Good food. Bit slow on the bar side, but a quality drink in your hand when it gets to you. Stop in for a late dinner and stay for a bit of love music.
Probably the worst place in Belfast if you have trouble with stairs. The bathrooms were specifically designed to battle the differently abled
B. C.
Great food and well looked after. A blend of old and new in the heart of Belfasts shopping streets. Great gin choice. The atmosphere of the original 250 year old bar is incredible. You gotta put this one on your bucket list.
M. C.
Great place, food good and staff really pleasant and couldn't do eggnog when I was there. Will be back
M. S.
Cool bar with decent food and cocktails. Not ideal for a quiet romantic meal but good for a quick bite with drinks.
S. M.
Met up with some old pals (& 1 not too old!) for lunch this afternoon. 1st time at Henry's, & what a fantastic experience. 1st class attention from staff, 1st class food, a 1st class pint of the black stuff served with it & a good old catch up with some good friends that I haven't seen in a while. Would have no hesitation recommending Henry's to anyone on a trip up to Belfast.
P. S.
Staff lovely. Food good but that goddam TV fighting with the piped music would do your head in
D. E.
Very dark service was very slow, its not on my places to return to
R. L.
Really nice atmosphere and steaks were amazing! They’re doing really well with their covid precautions - didn’t have to be worried about sitting too close to the next table
C. K.
Had great service here on Sat, had a very attentive lady looking after our table. We intended to have a meal here but opted for some nibbles instead but they were really tasty. I would definitely go back.
D. R.
Food was ok staff really nice but toilets were to hard to get too 3-4 flights of stairs ...
J. S.
Great food great staff lovely setting by the bar
G. C.
Can't make up its mind if it's a bar or a restaurant 🤔. Chicken was fine the half potatoes you can see in the picture were uneaten as they were dry as cardboard. Others found their meals fine. The chicken wings were very greasy. Least expensive wine was £20.00 never heard of the vendor but it tasted good. Fiddle de dee band started and all conversations stopped as they were too loud. Service was quick.
d. c.
1st time there,very welcoming.
M. C.
Pricey for what you're getting. Chowder is amazing but other than that, you can get the food elsewhere. Saying that, the food that is presented is well cooked and the service is great
D. M.
Have been a regular to Henry's since the time that it's been open. The floor staff I can't vault However the meal that we had this evening was very disappointing. Booked a table and was told that we would have to give the table up after only 15min into are meal. Hoping that this experience was just a one off.
t. d.
Great spot Had a couple of drinks in there last Friday. Went back on the Saturday for food and more drinks. Lovely food and the girls on the floor running around were great
D. W.
Lovely bar, great friendly service. Food plentiful and Deelicious
a. a.
Sunday night was just fantastic. Great acoustic music and good atmosphere.
G. L.
Very prompt and attentive service. Food ample and tasty.
M. M.
Had overpriced lunch after lock down. Pluses were goodish social distancing in place and plenty of waitress. Negatives were because of social distancing there isn't any real atmosphere therefore why go into town to pay downtown prices?
L.
Had a business meeting here, and loved it, great to experience the social scene again. Beautiful place BTW.
D. M.
Loved the setting decor and vibe but sadly as vegetarians, we were conveniently ignored... And the waitress was not interested in helping us find suitable food. In the end i scraped about a tablespoin of goars cheese out of a sandwich. Need to catchup with other fab restaurants in Belfast.
A.
Had great night! Good atmosphere, nice food reasonable priced. Only problem is the men's toilets, had to queue a few times on Saturday night which wasn't great.
C. T.
Great Guinness and great music 👍🏽
G. M.
Good bar
Very helpful staff
Highly recommended
S. D.
Good bar with live music and good atmosphere. Only issues are that the layout of the bar can make it very hard to get served at busy times and toilets are a serious trek.
R. M.
Dinner and drinks. The food was nice. Service was extremely slow, but staff were very pleasant.
R. T.
Amazing drinks. Lovely vibe. Great food. Staff are all babes. Cool bar next door aswell, Jailhouse. Whole place got a massive makeover and looks amazing
S.

D. W.

N. U.
Friendly bar staff & great atmosphere. Big screens for sports and good selection of beers. Highly recommend
N. A.
Loved it. Food was five star as was the service. The place has changed and with 3 different bar areas is a must visit. We will be back....in fact, I think there's a few of us still there!
K. L.
Great place. Big screens for football and a good vibe
C. S.
Still at Henrys at the moment always in for drinks. This was the 1st time eating here absolutely beautiful. Followed with a fantastic young fellow singing cant wait for dessert ❤😍🍷 service is great
T. F.
Amazing Guinness and a sharing platter that was was great.
K. 9.
A great bar, with dim lighting, good beer, live irish music and a general good vibe
d. r.

K. S.
Love Henry's, lovely food and drinks, nice atmosphere and all staff very pleasant and friendly. (Johnny really friendly and very helpful and looked after us well. 😁🍻🥂
T. C.
Absolutely bloody fantastic place. Class bar with great Irish music and dancers. An absolute must to visit and will definitely be going back there on my next visit to Belfast ❤
R. M.
Staff really helpful, just a little bit too dark inside, which is understandable for the atmosphere they are trying to create
P. B.
Great Guiness, and some Good cocktails with some good music. had some sport on.
G. M.
A decent bar with a good atmosphere, but to have only 3 urinals and 2 toilets in a busy Belfast bar is mad. A member of staff told me he had to use them too.
M. G.
Very disappointed with the service. my husband and I came in for lunch was shown to a table right away which was great then no one came near us for at least 15 mins I kept trying to catch the waiters eye to ask for a menu ended up going to the bar ourselves for a drink eventually got the attention of a waitress I asked for a menu she said of course then proeceded to serve other customers waited another 10 mins then asked again for a menu she apologised and menus were brought to the table we order fish and chips thought id keep it easy 30 mins later food came and I must say it was lovely and the wine was also good ......to sum it up when waiter or waitress shows you to your table menu should be given and a drink order taken right away then even if they are busy which they were not on this particular day the wait wouldn't be so bad
D. K.
Good service , oysters are good . Nice burgers. Cocktails are £8 but are good.
J. C.
Were on our way to the famous Dirty Onion and couldn’t resist. Best seafood chowder I’ve ever eaten. Great ambiance and beer selection.
S. M.
Friendly, attentive staff and good food.
M. N.
I used to work in here back when it was McCracken's. The banter was unreal! All the lads used to always say, 'every hole's a goal', but I tell you, they gave me some amount of grief when I put it into the big manager Diane at the Christmas dinner.
R. H.
This is such a beautiful venue - had a great lunch at a reasonable price and service fabulous. Spacious so you can have a private chat despite crowd.
e. g.
Best Burger EVER....Samson =beef burger & Goliath = Chicken Burger and the place is really nice.
m. s.
Used to be my favourite place, they raised their prices twice in one year. Not paying £5 for a Guinness. Good food
s. d.
Restful city centre stop. I had salted chilli squid main. Generous portion, but distinctly underflavoured for my palate! Nice NZ Savignon blanc washed it down well and was reasonably priced. I'd rate it 3 and a half stars if that were possible.
V. M.
Staff were friendly and attentive.
M. Z.
Henry’s is nothing special. Alright food, drink choices are quite limited. The wait at the bar can be very wrong. Hard to get served for drinks at the table when your eating you have to go up to the bar. It’s alright for first time to try it. Wouldn’t be rushing back.
M. E.
Beautiful bar. Went on a wednesdsy night and there was a nice crowd in. Greeted by friendly door staff which is unusual in Belfast. Staff helpful and friendly. Will definitely be back again.
A. K.
Food was fantastic.
Staff were very nice and friendly.
Highly recomend the place.
P. S.
Good food and nice refurbished bar
B. B.
Good grub and brewdog IPA, what more could you ask for.
S. B.
Great place for a night out. Attentive staff and great tasting food. Even the doorman was polite and had time for a chat.
D. S.
Only problem was the walk to the men's toilet 3 floors
R. b.
Food very good service excellent pleasant surrounding only one draw back rest rooms on the third floor ,but disabled on the ground floor ,
C. M.
The food was amazing great service and the drinks selection was top class. Cant wait to go back
A. T.

C. Ó. M.

J. M. G. (. J.
Great atmosphere and live music.
R. D.
Slow services and the toilets are a small 🐫 trek from bar
p. g.
New bar, but instantly has character. Warm, cosy, live music, Irish dancers (Friday 30th Nov), big open fire.
E. P.
I like this place they do a pint and burger for 10 pounds and the burgers are delicious, the pints aren't so bad either, great trendy we bar.
S. H.
Great vibe and great food. To top it off I could watch the footy on the big screen which was behind my missus and she didn't even know 🤣
N. H.
First visit and definitely won't be the last. Massive drinks menu to suit everyone. Large screen for sports events also a massive plus.
J. S.
Great bar only eaten in it about year ago
Since tables are always reserved so
Must be good
E. C.
Loved Saturday afternoon in this place. Staff friendly and atmosphere was good. Will definitely go back.
P. K.
I visited this on a random weekday during the night so it was quiet. But the it's a big and a beautiful classy bar.
F. M.

K. M.
Really nice bar, found the drink a bit pricey, a pint of Guinness was £5.
K. L.

(Translated) A very nice place to eat in Belfast and well located. We went at noon and they gave us to choose a table, the girl who served us (Spanish) was charming and super attentive. We had a soup of the day and a sandwich for about 15 lirs. Super recommended.
