B. L.I love pugs! The food here is awesome and at great prices. The chicken and waffle sandwich was very filling, my friend got a burger and said he enjoyed it a lot. They also have cocktail pitchers and a student discount if I could I would've eaten here multiple times during my trip to Belfast.
Only thing is I would've skipped the macaroni and cheese.

I had sort of Brazilian steak with salad as mains. The prawn salad appetizer is great, I ll have it double portion as my main course next time 💚. The house brewed beer, Pug Uglys is great 💚
It s quite popular sport bar even for lunch in the metropolitan Belfast. It has a metropolitant feeling to it. Made me feel at home. 💛
I ll return one day if I m around Belfast again. Stay strong Pug, continued success!! So, 4👍 + 👍= 5💛 Till nx time

R. T.Great atmosphere, great food. This place never fails to impress. The food is always top notch, and well presented. The staff and very welcoming, friendly and helpful. The Sunday carvery is excellent, and they even do a carryout and delivery service, which is just as good as the meals served on premises. We had a large order of roast carvery dinners to take out, both roast beef and turkey and ham. The meals were if a very high standard, well presented in foil containers. The portion size was very generous, and the selection of vegetables (cooked beautifully) was very good, the creamed potatoes were rich and had great flavour, the roast potatoes were very tasty, clearly freshly made with a wonderfully crisp outer and perfectly cooked, soft centre. The meals were served with gravy, and extra portions of gravy were provided for those who desired more. The roast beef was cooked to perfection, with great flavour from a seared outer and a beautifully tender melt in the mouth centre. Very generously sized yorkshire puddings were separately wrapped. The turkey and ham portion was moist with a fantastic flavour, and served with a delicious stuffing. These meals are very impressive carryout food, and are reasonably priced for the quality and generous portion size.

R. A.Needed a venue for a special birthday celebration for my daughter. Assisted by Stephanie who showed us the upstairs room which we booked for a very reasonable price. Team were really lovely and helpful and we were looked after on the night by Joe and Charlotte who were fab and Stephanie came and checked on us which was very thoughtful. My daughter and 25 friends had a brilliant and memorable night. Couldn’t recommend more highly.

S. A. J.Such a good experience here yesterday! Staff so amazing and helpful! I'm pregnant, went in with my two kids and also our dog ! Usually we have to leave the dog at the front and keep an eye on her by sitting beside a window or try get outdoor seats. But this amazing place is dog friendly and we were able to bring her in with us and she chilled by our feet and enjoyed some sneaky grub under the table. The kind waitress also provided a dog bowl of water. Food was fantastic. Atmosphere was great! Can't recommend this place enough. Thanks for a good evening !!

S. D.Morrisons was always my go to place. The renovation is fantastic. Great crowd everytime I have been. Different entertainment on every night. Good Gin and whiskey selection. Own brand of beer. Food is really good and reasonably priced.

C. M.A city centre bar which is very close to several other bars and restaurants. Really good night upstairs at a birthday party recently. The downstairs bar is always busy with a typical bustling atmosphere. A little more expensive than some more traditional bars, but certainly worth a visit if in town for a night out, a short break or visiting for longer.

t.Met a mate on Friday afternoon for a catch up and came here to eat. No disrespect to the singer who was very good, but the volume through the speakers would be more fitting to the Boucher road in summer. One pint and had to leave and unfortunately didn't seem to be the only ones. Still able to hear the music when reaching the Ulster hall. Not an age thing, but genuinely the loudest music I've ever heard in a pub.

T. C.Went to lunch with my company and was suggested to try "Fried Chicken Waffles"
I was unsure at first but it was delicious. It was a combination of savoury and sweet. The dish was a waffle burger (top waffle and bottom waffle) with cheese bacon and fried chicken in the middle drizzled served with a side of maple syrup. I had the burger with no fries but it was a big enough portion for me.
I also tried the Buffalo Chicken Strips and the flavours were very strong so if that sounds like something you like then I would recommend that too.
Staff were friendly and checked up on us and was very welcoming. Definitely would come here again and would recommend anyone who enjoys waffles to try the Fried Chicken Waffle Burger.
L. B.This bar has a great food and drinks menu. Atmosphere is good, not too loud BUT I have only been in during the help out to eat out scheme so I don't know if it's just been unusually quiet. Will definitely be back!
Z. M.Great bar that does great food as well. The downstairs bar can get a bit packed and hard to get served at, but for private events I would definitely recommend booking the upstairs room. The upstairs is a really nice space, you have a bar to yourself, and the staff are extremely helpful. The drinks aren't cheap, but are definitely better priced than in the likes of the Cathedral Quarter.

J. M.Great service!! This is a fun, relaxed bar but on the night we visited the service was the stand out element. We had just bought drinks but one fell over as it was placed on the table. They replaced the drink and cleaned it up straight away and then brought over a bowl of cocktail sausages.
I prefer places that you can talk with your party and there was live music on the night we went but would go again.

b. e.I was very shocked to find when we arrived our booking wasn't on the system there was 11 of us the place was packed tho there was two tables out side but they were not beside eachother and on a buy weekend night we wouldn't of got anywhere one of the workers took it apon herself to ask a table politey to move so we could all sit she made our night she was very friendly and also rushed of her feet she went above and beyond and she's later on called the on us as two tables inside we're free and there was live music only reason we all truly had the best night we ask her name shes called toni and a credit to pugs

A. N.Got a very chilled atmosphere. Although it may get packed you still manage to get served in time and the staff are friendly and informative. Highly recommended the Buffalo chicken goujons. They may be really spicy but they are so addictive. Would recommend on booking a table to avoid the mad rush. Live music is good also.

H.It wasn't awful, but it was expensive, not particularly pleasant inside (the lighting at night is awful - there's a difference between dimly lit and being softly lit), and the staff seemed to genuinely hate being there. It might be nicer if it had a good crowd but it was pretty empty when we wandered in!

R. E.Called in on a whim and had lunch with my wife. It was after the lunchtime busy period and it was quiet with few punters. It is a modern bar with good selection of wines, beers, spirits and non alcoholic beverages. Food was ok and young lady that served us was most pleasant and helpful.

M. J.Good atmosphere and central. I find the music to be much too loud. My friends and I had to go elsewhere because of how loud it was. The beer selection is different to the usual: a blessing and a curse. I like to try new things, but sometimes its nice to just have a Harp and not an Archway
M. R.Lunch time service was slow. After we finally got someone to take our order, she returned 15 minutes later to confirm what it was because it had not gone through to the kitchen printer. This part is probably a one off, but still annoying. I had the fish and chip, which based on the price is below par. The people that had the pizza enjoyed it.
They seemed to be understaffed, one bar man and one waitress for the whole place, not enough.

C. v. N.My wife and I went to Belfast for the night. We stopped here for a drink on our way out. They had a decent selection of beer and a cocktail menu and a variety of Gin. We then left and moved on for dinner and exploring a few other places. We did try to go back here on our way back to the hotel for a night cap, but was refused entry. So if you do want to go here go early. I think they had live music.
