M. F.Busy the night we went but still able to comfortably chat. We made use of the meal deal however there was confusion among staff as to whether it was available or not. The chicken wings always go down a treat. Very disappointed with the pork belly so much so I finished the vegetables and champ but left some of it. Instead of melting in the mouth I was struggling with the knife to cut it up.

The staff were also really friendly and helpful; a waitress booked us a table downstairs after we'd finished our meal which was great and we were allowed to open a tab at the bar and have drinks brought down to us which was handy. It was my first time there but I'll definitely be back!

The sticky toffee pudding was delicious especially with the addition of caramelised pecans, which I am now trying to replicate at home 😂 I like going here because I always know I'll have a good meal.

H. T.Seemed under staffed up stairs. Kept having to nab the girl for silly things like the drink or spoon we asked for for. I chose the lasagne but when it arrived it didn't taste good at all after 1 bite so I sent it back (which I've never ever done while out) and ordered a salad instead. On the bill I was charged the £8 for the lasagne. I was willing to pay for it but my sister didn't think it was right considering I didn't eat it. So when asked about it the girl left to go and speak to the manager and he reprinted the bill and give me the lasagne and the salad free of charge.

A. C.4 of us went out and had a beautiful meal. 2 courses for £11.99 which was fantastic. The food was excellent 2 got the roast chicken 1 got lasagna and the other got the pork. No 1 left anything on their plates so that says it all. We were able to each couple shared a starter and we done the same with the dessert. The guy that served us was brilliant and was very polite and a very pleasant manner. We will definitely be back again soon. Also had a look at the Christmas menu and its fantastic and the prices are amazing. ⭐⭐⭐⭐⭐

Miss the familiarity of going in for a pint and meal, but it was wonderful to get a taste of Ryan's deliciousness in the dreariness of lockdown. J. C.A great place to have a night out for a meal and a few drinks. For two courses @ £11 (edit: even better now @ £5.50 so book early) it can't be beaten in my view for a Starter & Main or Main & Dessert. The choice of food is good and taste great. Even the portions are large enough and just right for me. If you are coming to the Res/Bar just for a few drinks you will find it is a friendly staffed bar. I have enjoyed the atmosphere and the craic with everyone I have met there. One star less for those that have to go outside at the front in all weathers, as the area could be better laid out. By having it covered or cornered off with decking as the front entrance door takes up to much room. Maybe best to have a proper flush front façade door and a overhanging styled gazebo area out front?

J. W.Every once in a while you go out to dinner and everything was great. That was our experience at Ryan’s this evening. Greg was a wonderful host. I loved his Irish accent, his help with the menu, and his service. The food at our table was very good. I choose the Chicken Boxty, others choose the fish and chips and the chicken tempura. Then came desserts: Orange Brownie, cheesecake, and the caramel toffee. Everyone at the table were very happy with the food and experience.

A. W. H.Have been going here for over 8 years. Weather its a themed quiz or just a meal. Have had several family birthday's here and NEVER had an issue or a wrong order once. In my opinion the best chicken wings without a doubt. 2 meals for £10 main and then choice of stayer or dessert. Food is always perfect and staff are casual and creates relaxed atmosphere. Has range of craft beers as well as cocktails. Parking can be difficult but always end up with a spot. Easy to get to from city centre or come off m1 and via Boucher Road

The only bad side was the main course wasnt filling but that was down to the chicken tempura course that I ordered. Would highly recommend however as other food like the fish and chips is big and saves you a good bit of cash.

M. Z.This is an amazing place to go to. I have only recently moved to the Lisburn road area and found Ryans to be the first place I went for a dinner. I did not regret it.
The whole atmosphere is lovely, staff very friendly and the food was amazing! Also very good prices. Lunch menu is very cheap, as a student I absolutely love that.
The drinks are standard price as any restaurant and they have a wide range of alcohol as the down stairs area is a bar. I love the fact that after some food you can just walk downstairs with your drink and chill, drink more maybe and socialise.
Perfect for going with friends or family or even for a casual date.

Pity about the cocktails: 1st one ordered was a Bramble which was like a glass of iced water with a blackberry floating in it.. 2nd was a Raspberry Mojito which came with no mint as they had none.. And the waiters weren't great at social distancing or following Covid-19 guidelines when serving food and drinks, reaching over me and my food to give others in my party their food and drinks and not wearing masks or visors at any time..

My friend had the chicken wings which they are famous for and said they were lovely. Vegetarian options of Boxty or beanburger for mains. I had the Boxty which was also a massive portion. My friend had chicken goujons which she said were so overcooked they were stringy and our side of onion rings we ordered were also extremely overcooked. I've been before and haven't had these issues. Giving 4 stars based on positive previous experiences and good starters.

Apparently their chicken wings are to die for, but being a veggie, I'd recommend risotto & vegetable lasagna. If anything it could be a bit too noisy, so if you want a nice quiet space, perhaps opt out for a bigger restaurant with more space in between tables.

But the absolute best thing to eat is their chicken wings, you won't taste better anywhere. The staff are attentive, courteous and very friendly. You can get a 2 course dinner for £10, how's that for great value. There is nothing negative to say about Ryans Bar and a Restaurant. I love it.
