J. B.A good Wetherspoons in Belfast, based on 2 floors and very large. It's always good value for a meal and pint of beer. I like the fact that you can order on your phone and they bring the meal and beer to your table.
R. O.Large 'spoons with plenty of seating and a beer garden. Usual fayre of booze and food. Table number service via the app or via the bar if you like waiting. As always very good prices.
T. T. C.Well, the drink and service was great but needs a refurb with more nooks and crannies like the Dublin Wetherspoons as it was like a large hall. Small beer garden out back. Toilets need a refurb and they also need toilet roll! Definitely not the same par as the ones in Dublin. Best to get the train in Belfast for £22.50 return Websaver and go to Silver Penny, South Strand and Keaven Port.

Spent a Saturday afternoon here with friends prior to heading to a concert at the SSE arena.
Excellent selection of drinks, particularly the range of beers and ales, most drinks were probably half the price of the other rip-off establishments in Belfast.
Had food as well. Good selection, decent enough portion sizes and tasty. Again - very very cheap!
Place was clean and staff were generally friendly although rushed off their feet.
We mostly ordered via the wetherspoons app which was awesome and drinks/food were brought to our table very quickly.
We'll definitely be back.

Alas, however, successive visits have been been disastrous regarding beer quality: cask ale is being destroyed by poorly kept or badly pulled pints. Unacceptable in a pub with a Cask Marque sign outside it! CAMRA needs to reconsider...update: visited again on Wednesday 1 September. No change in beer quality. I give up. This place was once so reliable... UPDATED; I have been back several times since - turns out some pumps had no sparkler attached! I always check now and the pints are much better! Glad to see...and post.

Also this place is actually cheaper, a pint of Brewdog Punk IPA costs less than £4, whereas pint of less than tasteful beers costs £5+

Excellent food menu to suit all tastes including vegan. an Open early morning for breakfasts. Nice relaxing atmosphere with pleasing decor. The only fault I have is that the food could be hotter when served. Only my opinion. It doesn't put people off as it can be quite busy at certain times. Very popular venue. Would strongly recommend a visit.

However, because its the cheapest place we found to drink in Belfast, we visited there every evening. . And it was just around the corner from the hotels. Very handy.
The staff were friendly and helpful although we're a bit short of staff a few times
p. k.Went early on Friday evening for meal and a drink, it was hard finding a table but with a little perseverance we eventually got seated and had a lovely steak washed down with a nice glass of wine. The atmosphere was great and the staff very friendly, well worth a visit.
P. G.Myself and my wife met up with a fellow Wetherspoon enthusiast in the Bridge House in Belfast. On arrival they were queuing to get served. It took about 5 minutes to get served. When I went again it was very quiet at the bar but the pub was still busy.
They had a good choice of cask ales.

T. P.As a foreigner, few locales understand how cheap drinks actually are! For reference Jack & Coke in France average 10+ euro! Very warm place, love it.
R. M.Spoons is cheap! They've a decent selection of boozes and the food is ok too. Mostly from frozen I reckon. I wouldn't go on a weekend night but the daytimes or evenings it's grand. Used to be handy before the cinema but the cinema is gone!

T. M.Went on a Monday, not the best experience, I have had better experiences there before.
Ordered Heineken 0% and was given becksblue. Ordered five bean chilli and whole thing looked and tasted like it had been microwaved. Rice had plasticky texture as if had been reheated. Tummy is a bit dicky today after eating it. Food just wasn't yummy, other meal (sausage beans and chips) wasn't warm enough. Whole experience wa sa bit depressing.
I wish they would bring back salt and pepper shakers and vinegar on the tables. Also step up on cleaning tables. I think the interior is tired and as a previous reviewer also said, that there could be more 'nooks and crannies'.
Overall I actually don't think Northern Ireland wetherspoons perform aswell as English and Irish branches I've tried.

W. B.Very good pub with food. You have a lot of choice for draught beer and various choices for food. Prices low for Belfast, you can get a beer from £2.50. Not bad range for vegetarians, there is some for vegans but most of the time they run out of it.

The girl of the bar was friendly and help You need to choose your table and go to the bar to ask for your order (so have in mind your table number). We ordered the food and the drinks and the system calculated the best price based on current promotions. Service is not very personalized, I would say between a restaurant and a fast good (maybe not ideal for romantic dated), however, this is very common in the UK and I don't see it negative. You even have some games machines and a bar area. In fact, it was better for us. You order, you pay, you get your order and you go (no need to wait for the bill or anything). I would come back!

-It is a really busy place but you still do not have to wait a lot to get your order. A lot of tables even upstairs.

And if you are antisocial they even have an app you can use to order your food and drinks rather than having to speak to a server. The closest thing to an English pub you will fine in Belfast and really surprisingly good value if you good for the meal deals. They also win the nicest plate in Belfast award in my opinion.

One minor criticism is that they have withdrawn the club deals but let's hope this is only on a temporary basis. I would add that the food menu is still extensive and has something to suit all tastes.

Good COVID protocols.
Tables clean but very sticky. It was not very busy when we visited, but it took ages to get servers attention. Once order for drinks placed, we perused the menu ( again sticky) looking up we noted a female server with free flowing blonde hair behind the bar pouring drinks
Food order taken and arrived in good time, was hot, looked and tasked good.
Will be returning.

R. W.Typical Wetherspoon pub with cheap good quality drinks. Never tried the food. The highlight is that you can order drinks to the table with their app, bypassing queues at the bar. Typically delivered in a couple of minutes. You can even reorder while on the way to the toilet and the drinks will likely be waiting for you on your table when you get back. Impressive use of technology!
M. E.It is a huge ground floor and then some upstairs area for a pub. But try getting a seat most days most times which is indicative its huge popularity among all ages and types. Why? Wide range of Booze at very reasonable prices and a decent food menu with none of the poncey airs and matching prices of the unstoppable(?) aspirational Howard Street eateries.
So fed and watered at pocket - friendly prices with a wide range great guest ales. What's not to like? The app can be hit-and-miss, the service slow and tables sticky. The toilets are a trek upstairs.
What seriously annoys me is that the chain promised 2 additional pubs in Royal and University Avenues yonks ago and have sat on their hands ever since.
A. L.We visited this place in a Friday evening and it is as lively as a typical English pub usually is. People of all ages socializing and eating. Loved the beer and also the system of ordering food here. We came back in the morning for an authentic English breakfast here.

Several different areas mean it's possible to find a cosy area if you want. Considering how busy it can get, service is pretty efficient.

Love that you can order from the app and they had a great kids menu meaning our family needs were well met. Appreciate it was very busy and though food and drinks came out quickly the tables around us that became empty weren't cleaned and cleared so our area was crowded with dirty plates and empty glasses.

Breakfasts are great and their steak is very good I always go for the 14oz Aberdeen Angus steak and salad. Speciality days are worth a look. Battered fish and chips very good. Can get noisy at weekends.
L. S.It's fine for the price... staff are very young so cue dirty glasses (on two separate occasions) and a 'couldn't care less' attitude when informed the toilets sanitary bin was over flowing with nappies and pants.

Went here again, had the ultimate burger and a pint £7•70 great prices! Burger was really tasty, what's not to like.

The menu is actually quite comprehensive and there is a good range of drinks to choose from. The prices are very reasonable, but the food isn't exactly from the top shelf (which is fair enough!) The service is generally good and atmosphere is usually buzzing.
