This is a pretty cool spot, I enjoyed the atmosphere inside quite a bit. The service was good. The Philly steak was enjoyable, but the pie flight entree was so bland and dry and boring. I tried 3 beers as well, and they were all decent. Overall, it was a nice, but forgettable experience.

Fantastic traditional Victorian pub with its own microbrewery. Great selection of their own brews plus an array of craft beers from NI breweries and beyond. Beautiful interior with loads of attention to detail. First class service. Can’t wait to come back!

Traditional pub with craft-beer twist. You can get tasting beer flight with 3 x 1/3 pint of their beer that they brew next door for taste. There’s also the hot wings that is made with their IPA BBQ source that is finger licking good. In the winter time there’s Irish coffee and we had the Neils signature one which is one of the top 3 Irish coffee that I ever had.

My wife and I loved it here from turning on a light to order our pints to the art Deco layouts it was super. Friendly staff great food and there in house brewing was something else, if your in Belfast please pop in and experience this fine establishment.

We visited to try local craft beers and were really impressed. Only sad that we weren't able to get there Friday night to see the traditional music session.

Our visit was a late lunch. There were no hot sandwiches at the weekend so we had a mix of a fry and the fish and chips - about £15 each. Food was good and the service was quick. They charged us for extra pots of tea when we asked for them to be topped up with hot water - not really fair - £2.20 each. It was mid afternoon when we were there and it was quiet but by late afternoon it was busy. Craft ales available from its own brewery but we didn’t try them - yet!

The Very Large Screen stayed on over the head of Brilliant Musician which we found very distracting and an insult to the Great music being played..We asked the Barman but he said it was policy. Please Deers head revise this policy as people can get there sports results on there own phones if nessasary.

We had our evening party upstairs at The Deer’s Head on our wedding night. We had a great night and eveything was exactly how we wanted it. The staff are great and the buffet was brilliant. I would recommend this bar to anyone looking for something similar or even just for drinks and food downstairs!

Fantastic bar and brewery which offers a massive selection of local beers from across Belfast and Ireland as well as brewed onsite. They also offer a great selection of food and I would highly recommend the Flight of Pies, a selection of small pies in three delicious flavours.

The wife and I met up with some old friends at this brilliant micro brewery pub. The beer on offer is absolutely outstanding! Clean tasting and delicious beyond belief! There is also an astonishing range of wine and spirits available if beer isn't your drink. The staff are friendly and welcoming and the atmosphere warm and cheerful thanks in no small part to the gathering of superb Ukele players. We highly recommend this place and will definitely return when we next visit Belfast.

Great pub and the staff are lovely but beer needs adjusting. Had one with acetaldehyde and another with the water chemistry off. It also can't decide if it's a trad pub, a brew pub or a theme bar. The printed history and quotes on the wall give it a theme bar feel but it could be so much more.

This is an old bar with lots of history, the owners have their own Brewery on site which you can see and also taste their ales, food was also good.

Stumbled upon this great little venue a few weeks ago while rushing to go home to watch the boxing. They had the boxing on and a fairly decent crowd in. Bar staff were fantastic, very knowledgeable with recommendations and were quick in serving customers. Lovely relaxed atmosphere. Will be back for the next boxing event. Not many bars screen it live.

Pub decor looks really well, fresh. Friendly staff. One evening while there staff member showed us the brewing facilities, and informed us of the process, and different guest beers that are produced. Very interesting, and ment a lot that he took the time to give us an informed guided tour.

This place is fab. Such a change with the renovation but glad they’ve kept it old school. Brewing their own beer mow too which btw is really lovely - please try. Pints and Food was great but the waitress charged me for the same round of drinks twice and gave me a receipt for the first payment and said it didn't go through and made me tap again £22 for two drinks in the end.

Came in and was given a table for 2 straight away at a very busy 6pm on a Saturday. Lovely, accommodating staff, super quick service. Food was unreal and very reasonably priced. Requested a few alterations to our menu choices which the chef went over and above to oblige. One of my favorite places to eat in Belfast.

I love the private booths, though they're hard to get unless you reserve in advance. It has become a lot younger crowd than it used to be and can be a bit loud, but it's fantastic on a hot day when you can take advantage of the little bit of beer garden in the pedestrian area. Staff are really friendly and welcoming.

First time in The Berliner since is has opened and I really liked the atmosphere and design of the bar. The service for food and drinks was excellent and sets The Berliner apart from other bars / restaurants in town. The food was also excellent! My friends and I had a few different things off the menu including starters and main courses and all were delicious. We will definitely be back for food and watching the football!

The style and the look of The Berliner is much nicer and a bit more upscale than Aether and Echo was. The food mostly remained the same and it has always been good quality. Also the beer selection seemed to have stayed the same. What I think is very unfortunate though is that they don't allow dogs in anymore. This was one of the few places in Belfast where I could go for food and drinks after work as I didn't have to take my dog home.

A good bar with friendly staff and clean facilities. I liked that the barman recommend a beer on draft I hadn't tried, it was very tasty. A good spot to watch sports with lots of high quality screens and I've been told the food is very reasonable but I've not actually tried it. I'll definitely return

Good atmosphere, lovely space. Never been in for food but have heard good things. Only compliant I would pose is that the bar staff were not familiar with the cocktail menu so when asked for something from it the response was "we don't do that". We were then told flatly that the barman didn't know how to make it, I then asked for a double disaronno on ice and this same barman had to be corrected by his manager as he reached for desperados from the fridge. Not a massive issue but just seems like this would have really slowed the bar down if it was a busy night.

Nice atmosphere and the staff were pleasant. The meals were ok however both my meals changed from what was ordered to what was on the plate. My main was to be chicken, chorizo and spinach pasta, when it arrived the sauce was like soup and there was no spinach. My dessert was also to be a Guinness brownie with whiskey caramel ice cream. It was just a chocolate brownie with vanilla ice cream. If the kitchen runs out i think its fair enough but let the customer know first.
