Interesting place, good live music and a decent selection of drinks makes this a popular hang out for people of all ages, especially the uni crowd. Does get very busy and will regularly stop admitting people relatively early but it's a nice place to spend part of your night out.

I was unfortunately here during Fresher's week, so I felt very old and out of place. (It wasn't my idea to go there and I was sure my friends and I were going to be turned away. Probably should have been!) However, the bar seemed cool, there's an awesome outdoor area and I'm sure on a less teenager-orientated night it would be a great place. I'll have to revisit to verify, until then 3-stars.

We popped in mid afternoon so there wasn't much going on. Seemed a decent place. Liked the music that they were playing as well. Had a nice cold pint of Guinness after being dragged around the shops with the Mrs. Next time we're in Belfast we'll go back on a night time and see what it's really like.

Great place great atmosphere as well, only downside I had personally was the staff were unsure about what drinks they had as in the wheat beers on offer and both drinks I had didn't taste quite right, im not sure if they are not big sellers or it was the end of the barrel but I could not finish either of them. I'm not a bit fan of the revamp they have had as I loved the eccentricity of how it used to be but it has opened it up giving more room for people

One of the bars had no lights at all, so couldnt see a thing, even the bar staff has to use their mobile fones to see how much money I was giving them. But one of the other bars was much better music and lighting. But I wouldn't rush back!!

Grand spot with great live music entertainment. Average rating because one power hungry bouncer was a buzz kill. Anyone trying to actually enjoy themselves was ejected from the bar. A complete A##hole to be honest. The man needs to relax as he brought the reputation of the place down. Management should consider his continued employment. I'm not a disgruntled customer who met his rath, rather an annoyed observer who felt sorry for the youth trying to enjoy their night out during these trying times.

Over in Belfast, from Scotland, to attend the Ben Nicky concert in CHSq 😊 Attended here after and absolutely loved it! Vast range of music in the "secret garden" that we thoroughly enjoyed. Met so many people from all over the world, France, America, Austrailia etc and had a good dance and a blether. Asked the dj for AC/DC and he was MORE than happy to accommodate 😊 The atmosphere and the people were so much fun, both downstairs and upstairs. Will definitely be back here on our next visit. Loved it! ✌🏽

One of the best bars in Belfast! The selection of beers is 2nd to none I've never seen a pub with such a vast selection of good beers peroni and moretti and many others! Always busy but great service to your table never waiting long for a drink! And live music most nights! Really friendly staff! Definitely worth a visit!

Wasn't even busy and the first round of drinks had taken close to 20 minutes to get to the table, after that, table service was very quick. The Guinness tasted a bit off also but that aside staff were incredibly polite and friendly.

I really enjoyed time I spent here . This pub is very popular and inspite of its name it is pretty clean ;) . I loved the toilets ! Very interesting idea and I love Belfast for that . Big selection of beers so anyone can find something for themselves . During the weekends evenings this pub is extremely busy so expect to stay in long queue to get inside . They have live music and it was really good . You can also get something to eat here . For people wanting only drinks you will have to sit in the garden , for food lovers , you gonna stay inside . The price for a beer is around £4.50 for a pint . Enjoy !

A really cool pub right next to an affordable hotel!!! Live music playing inside and a DJ with loud music outside. Many different areas to hangout within this one Pub! Unfortunately, they advertised drink "specials" that they did not honor once i had ordered some drinks so my "bill" was double what i expected to pay. Which kinda stinks. But the staff are friendly and the band kicked ass! The only thing i did not like about this pub, was the many many 18 year olds dancing about all over the place and crashing into me multiple times, quite rudely. Overall a nice night in the belfast pubs!

Something for everyone here with a cozy front bar that had the occasional intimate live act. Big open beer garden with lots of seats. Also a cocktail bar with dedicated mixologists shaking things endlessly. Upstairs club is a decent option …

Flithies has such a good vibe, whether you want to just chill in the smoking area with a pint or have a mad one with your mates. The beer garden is great and there's plenty of space. The staff are nice and work fast; you still have to fight to get to the front of the bar but that just shows its busy because it's good! It's a fab night out in Belfast or even for a casual drink

Nice indoor and outdoor layout. Atmosphere is pretty good and diverse, student like. The place is quite dirty like seats, etc. Really really need to focus on the toilets maintenance, not acceptable at all, broken glass, wet floor, no toilet paper, most inefficient tap (that was at 5.00 on friday). I like the drink selection but it can be a bit over priced. Bartenders have a little too much attitude for me because they should be focusing on the customer rather than their mates. Oh and having a few more bartenders on friday after 5 would most likely help with the 15 minutes wait to get a drink and get a surprise at the bar that it is "cash only". Need to sort out your business !!!

Cosy pub with a great beer garden, that has since become a cosy pub with a great beer garden that has a DJ most weeknights making it impossible to be outside. Or inside, because the actually really nice cosy pub will have a full band on, making it insanely loud. Cocktail bar is nice, but there's overflow of music from the other sections. Standardly priced for Belfast.

Bar is gd newly done but they never redone the toilets is pretty nasty in there. Also their disabled toilets are a joke so don’t go there if you have any disabilities atm would make you feel sick going into it.

Really good live traditional music. Good craic from the people there. Bar staff were okay, and the offers a bit misleading. Ask about them before ordering as the prices are quite high, as are they with everything in the area to be fair. Would recommend going early and moving onto another venue. This place is a gem.

Great little place we popped into on a Tuesday afternoon. Divy feel, with incredible decor. Bunch of old ladies, post holiday shopping were throwing back a pint each, and some local workers. Cool vibe. Good music. In the festive holiday spirit as well! Must stop!

Visited here last week with a few friends. Atmosphere was excellent and great staff service cannot be overlooked. Always been known to be a gem in the heart of Belfast. I have for a time thought to myself why it was called filthy? The tunes are filthy, some cups are unwashed and upon some close inspection of the toilet seat and urinal these are also filthy - a great addition by the establishment and a tasteful use of satire. I must give credit where due and the ideals of this venue give both humour, and comply and compliment the local filthy mcdorty Belfast culture.

Something for everyone here with a cozy front bar that had the occasional intimate live act. Big open beer garden with lots of seats. Also a cocktail bar with dedicated mixologists shaking things endlessly. Upstairs club is a decent option if you're wanting to stay out late and they're always expanding. Only four stars as it can take an age to get served when it's busy as it's a bit chaotic.
