Popped in for a cheeky drink and wanted a pub with a nice quaint atmosphere, and that's what I got.
Great atmosphere, fantastic service from Sean and a fine array of fine whiskeys.
Can't wait to visit Belfast again so I can pop in here for a cheeky dram 😁👌🍷
T. T. C.
Food is really good and I can definitely recommend the doorstep of the club sandwich. Some size! However, two of the same whiskeys varied from £14 (and pence) and the next round was nearly £19! How is that exactly? Can’t fault the service either - Rory is brilliant!!
S. H.
Lovely pub with live music - was crowded without being packed on a Saturday night. The barkeep was friendly and had some nice recommendations for a whiskey to enjoy while listening to some local musicians jam in the corner.
S. W.
Drinks selection great, especially their beer options in what seems a really traditional setting. Unfortunately the food I ordered was a bit of a disaster. The portion was almost comically huge, as were the "chicken goujons". They were enormous greasy battered things with weird gelatinous meat inside. Chips were sadly undercooked as well. A real shame! Go for the great drinks and service I say, but eat elsewhere.
J. H.
Great little pub. Reminds me of the garrison from peaky blinders. Great food and an amazing selection of whiskey and beers
A. E.
Is this we bar still open Amazing to see the footage on BBC 1 Silent Witness So Great to see on Television
t. t.
Amazing service, beautiful small pub with lots of food and booze options.
t. d.
Great food and even though it was cup final on TV, a great atmosphere within the pub.
L. M.
Great pub with lovey staff and a nice, chilled atmosphere.
I prefer the back bar to the front but both are comfortable enough and you can usually get a seat. Lots of drinks on offer and sports are shown in the back bar.
One downside is the toilets, which are in need of some TLC.

The best pub in Belfast for me. Great staff and lovely casual atmosphere. The food looked great but unfortunately we hadn't time to stay for food. Call in here whenever I am in town. A proper Pub.
K. T.
Loved the MacIvor's cider but wish it were on tap. :-) We ordered bar snacks but they took ages--the place is quite busy after work on weekdays--and they were too small to be quite worth the money. Met a pair of fabulous locals who were generous with their life lessons. Very friendly place.
A. C.
Brilliant selection of beers and very friendly barstaff. Sat at the bar for a good couple of hours and had a great night chatting and bantering with both the other customers and the two lads behind the bar. The authentic Belfast experience!
K. H.
It's grand. I don't know any Belfast bars to compare it to but nothing about it particularly stood out. Decent enough bottled beer and whiskey selection, but draught selection was very poor.
M. F.
Really nice spot, good food and guinness. Although the service was fairly poor in the lounge, the staff were nice but everything took ages - absolutely not the fault of the girl serving us, she needed some help, it seemed understaffed.
R. H.
Have been craving champ and sausages and FINally had a chance to get it...and theirs is so grand! Highly recommend! Staff, atmosphere, and food is just amazing!
Á. M.
Big portions of fantastic food at really good price. Only negative is that the drink order app showed drinks as unavailable that we were able to order from the bar. But definitely a great place with fantastic vegan and non vegan options. Seasonal cocktails are amazing as well.
P. F.
Good pints. Staff were very friendly and good at what they do. Have been a good few times and will be back.
J. R.
Helluva beer and whiskey lineup. Food solid and the atmosphere was great during the Scotland-Ukraine WC qualifier
P. D.
Brilliant pub. Great menu and tasty food.
Staff very friendly and helpful
f. y.
Always a great place for a pint or spirit
Great staff
Clean and tidy throughout
Good entertainment at weekends
This is on a Belfast visit list

Nice old pub in central Belfast, with a huge choice of local, national and international beers. Food is excellent, and service is brilliant. It can be tricky to get a table, but if you're lucky you can grab one as people are leaving. Alternatively you can have a drink at the bar while waiting for a table to become free. Highly recommended for lunch and drinks.
A. B.
The place is very cozy and has an old time artistic touch. The food was incredible. My wife had the risotto and I had the pie. The best in Ireland so far. Superb choice of beers, including local IPAs. Would highly recommend this dive bar feeling restaurant.
D.
One of the best pubs in Belfast a definite go to for me every time. Good traditional bar with a fantastic selection of drinks and does great meals.
I. N.
Reached out via Instagram and both times they were able accommodate me despite it being a very busy weekend in Belfast. Guinness is as good as you’ll find in Dublin, wasn’t expecting much from the food but it was surprisingly good! Perfect set up for watching sports too without any hassle. 10/10
C. H.
We met with brothers and sisters whom we hadn’t seen recently in the Garrick Bar. From the minute we entered and all through service we were waited on by Rory….the best barman in Belfast! Craic, humour and just great fun. A brilliant day had by all
J. C.
Had a lovely lunch. Nice atmosphere and the food was great. Good size portions although menu and drinks not cheap. Steak sandwich with pepper sauce was superb and chips uniquely tasty.
D. S.
Lovely little pub with sports, great wholesome food, Guinness and service!
L. W.
Been to Belfast several times but not to this bar... It's definitely on the list for the future. Very good food and the manager and his staff are so friendly. 👍
N. C.
Staff excellent food very good decor good. Old Belfast pub RECOMMENDED!
q.
Great spot for meeting up and surveying the surroundings. Plenty ti chose from drink wise and haven't had a bad pint yet. Clean and staff friendly.
J. T.
We tried the garrick on our first day in belfast just to have a quick bite to eat after dumping our bags at the hotel.
The reviews mentioned good sandwiches.
Well its so much more than that, the menu was like a gastro pub (this confused me as it looked like a traditional drinkers pub). BUT WOW the food was incredible. Great first experience of eating out in belfast (the rest if the holiday did not dissapoint might i add)
M. S.
Great experience here! Excellent food, friendly staff, and insane selection of beer and whiskey. Highly recommend a visit to The Garrick.
R. M.
A quiet Monday night. I was there at a gathering to remember a friend who had passed. We had the back bar to ourselves and the staff courteously directed later arrivals there.
D. K.
Nice bar only stopped for a few drinks. Staff are very friendly and they have a mile variety of beers and spirits
R. R.
A great place to get traditional Irish food. A local person recommended it and it did not disappoint.
L. P.
Excellent atmosphere and smashing food! Good selection of beer too!
G.
Nice cozy local pub with character. Good to watch a match or have a catch up with friends. Foods tasty and great selection of drink!
R. D.
Great city centre pub with bags of character, good beer, nice atmosphere.
C. A. H.
Brilliant pub in the heart of Belfast. Tasty an plentiful portioned food menu. Strong choice of beers and spirits. Food per head with drink just over £16, competitively priced. Great staff service and cosy atmosphere. 100% worth a visit if in town.
b.
What a cosy and lovely pub !!
You get the usual you have on a pub, a lot of beers and ales with a very polite staff.
The reason why I entered this pub is to have something to eat besides my beer. I tried a risotto which had pancetta and caramelised onion, together with chicken breast. It was out of this world, I really enjoyed that it was unique.
C. B.
Love this place - Guinness is the best and the club sandwich is sooooo good!
R. J.
Superb and utterly traditional Irish pub - the epicentre of Belfast social life. A food and drink tour guide told me it is his favourite place in the city.
J. M.
Fun atmosphere and great food! Typical service in Ireland though...you have to be ready to order and get your drinks when they stop by or you might wait, bit we were in no hurry. Husband said they had some of the best seafood chowder he's ever had! And I found a new beer I love...Smithwicks!
S. C.
Great food, great beer and Rory deserves his own TV series
t.
2 reviews in one here. Very positive and very negative. Excellent service, friendly staff, great range of drink, and great to see live music again. Would highly recommend the Garrick bar. The food however, £12.95 for 4 small chicken strips, a spoonful of coleslaw, and a handful of chips. And the pulled pork burger, a cheap cut of meat that should have you bursting at the seems, this, a meagre ration inside a bap and again a handful of chips. Maybe works as part of the meal deal through the week, but at the weekend, I couldn't recommend. Maybe chose the wrong menu items but for the price definitely wouldn't return for food. Back to the positive though, excellent bar that should be proud of the staff and management.
D. T.
Excellent pub to watch sport - really great choice of beers and the service is always excellent. A must visit if your in Belfast!
D. D.
Called in at a Monday lunchtime for a bit to eat. I liked it. It's a nice old bar with a pleasant atmosphere. The bar staff were friendly and chatty.
We both had soup and ciabatta sandwich. The soup was very tasty as was the sandwich. Had a pint and a glass of Pravha plus a cup of tea too. Total was £27 which I thought was great value.
They do meal deals so I think we'll call back again.
J. W.
Great pub. Great pints, good service. I look forward to watching a match there in the future
o. g.
Nice traditional pub. Decoration in the roof was about fifa world cup (flags) but the general ambient is like a real traditional Irish pub. Good food and normal good beer (as all in Ireland) they just took their time to bring the food and didn't have one beer in the menu, but the rest was ok.
N. G.
While the bar had nice seating, good staff and a large selection of drinks ; the food was terrible. My burger was absolutely dry and my salad was not enjoyable. If I was just going out for a drink then perhaps this place would be a 5 star.
R.
Really easy and quick reservation for a table through Facebook, Liam was a great help with the reservation! The customer service was excellent and all staff members were friendly and fast. The drinks themselves were really tasty and we were recommended some really nice options, which we are sure to order again! The bar is beautiful and has a really welcoming vibe which is always appreciated. Finally, the staff reserved a really nice corner table which gave us lots of space and comfort, really appreciated that!
10/10 bar, definitely gonna visit again!
e. j.
Amazing staff and brilliant atmosphere, watched the Liverpool match and had a boss meal
A. S.
A fine pub. Pleasant atmosphere. Quick service.

Excellent traditional pub in heart of Belfast, excellent friendly service and brilliant Guinness
C. M.
Great mid week drinks with some trad music and great staff
C. A.
Back again today. Great food and service a always. The fish was great!
C. C.
Brew dog on tap, a massive selection of beers and ales and good food. Can't fault it.
P. M.
Friendly staff and consistently great pints of Guinness. A small and cozy place for a pint. Trad sessions are also plentiful.
If Guinness isn't your thing there is a fantastic selection of other beers.
P. S.
Thankyou to bar man Rory for making our New Years Day a great day out. He has been great craic and so pleasant & amicable making our visit really enjoyable 😀
J. S.
I really like The Garrick. The front bar is smaller than the back bar but I prefer it. Good pint of Guinness and they sell Bacon Fries too! Good atmosphere. Nice staff. A proper boozer.
D. M.
I'm not a drinker and so not usually in bars, but I found it comfortable with friendly staff and that old pub feeling.
M. R.
Great pint of Guinness and trad music nights Thurs nights great craic
a. a.
Had a brilliant night, staff are lovely! Big thanks to the fella working who give us an umbrella 🌂😘xx

The beer is good and there is a wide selection of it
D. O.
Great pub in the heart of Belfast, the best pint of Guinness I have had in Belfast too!
K. M.
Good food, good drinks, relaxed and cozy atmosphere, recommend you try the daily special pies
D. H.
Nice atmosphere. Was sitting outside to avoid the crowd. Gluten free beer!
N. W.
We happened to pass this wee bar & thought we would try it out. So glad we did. The staff were so welcoming & friendly. Social distancing was applied to the bar/seating area & it was table service only.
We both got the steak sandwich & it was absolutely beautiful, steak was perfectly cooked and full of flavour. Really reasonable price.
I would definitely recommend this place for its food alone, the service & great staff were an added bonus x
V. H.
Decent portion, but a bit oily food. Service was great!
S. C.
Pre concert drinks here with friends. Great spot close the the Waterfront. Decent non alcoholic beers for those that dont imbibe and designated drives as well as all the usuals
S. M.
Great Spot for some pints with a great atmosphere
M. E.
Great place for a quick stop through your Christmas shopping, nice and cosy atmosphere, the food was delicious and a good size, we'll definitely go back!
M. O.
Good old traditional pub swift service good pint of Red Ale
P. C.
Friendly staff and good food, what's not to like
A. A.
Lovely traditional bar without being s tourist trap
U. F.
Lovely place to visit for a meal and drink.staff were so pleasant and welcoming ,which meant so much to us visitors from Tipperary. Will definitely call to the Garrick again on our next visit to belfast city.
G. M.
Great range of beers/ales to wash down the tasty food. Was there on Friday night for a couple Told that cashless transaction didn't work and had to get another machine. Found both went through the following day. Don't know if ripping off customers but check your account if you hear this line.
E. D.
Until I stopped to think about it I didn't realize. But this is one of the best bars in town for pub grub and a few drinks. I should go there more.
K. V.
Really nice service and advice from the staff. Beautiful place and nice atmosphere. Food was really tasty and well served (although a bit salty for our taste!).
c. l. M.
Staff are amazing. Highly recommended
r. g.
Old city pub with booth seating.
Classic style.
Good atmosphere.
Dark wood and huge selection whisky
C. W.
Great selection of drinks, no fuss bar. Not many left now in Belfast.
J. M.
Thank you to the team at the Garrick for a great night. The service was top class, food was amazing and they serve a great pint of Guinness! I highly recommend coming here.
P. 8. (.
Great wee bar for getting a cool Guinness or a nice pint of clonmel . The largest selection of beers and ales you will ever find in one bar
A. L.
Have been to the garrick many times when in Belfast this time was no exception we called in each of the three days mainly for their excellent food and a few drinks great staff ,if you like a wide and varied selection of drinks this is the place to see
S. G.
Fantastic food, great value.
Staff were all so friendly and accomodating we had 2 young children (2 & 4) and they loved it too.
E. B.
Friendly bar. City centre with local feel. Disabled friendly.
J. B.
Great atmosphere, beer and snacks
A. T.
Local bar ok for causal drinks..
G. K.
A long time staple of the city centre. Excellent craft beer and whiskey selection served in a traditional setting. Outside seating available. Pretty good pub grub too.
They've also got a function room for hire and an eclectic mix of entertainment on in the back bar.
S. M. K. (.
Great food, price and hospitality
L. R.
Popped in for food which was nice. Staff very attentive and friendly, couldn't do more for you. Nice atmosphere
C. W.
Tasty burger and wonderful fries, busy but to be expected on a Friday lunchtime
L. C.
Lovely Irish pub with live music, great food and a fantastic beer selection. Friendly staff and a great atmosphere complete the package.
V. M.
Great bar. Great selection of beers and spirits. Very friendly staff. Love it. Mick is amazing
C. A.
Great, huge selection of beers & friendly knowledgeable staff. Comfy and neither too quiet nor too loud.
B.
Excellent pub with great bar staff. I was in there for the Calcutta Cup match a couple of weeks ago and, even as an Englishman, I was made very welcome by the locals (I guess supporting the Irish against the Welsh in the earlier match might have helped).
I'll definitely call in again the next time I'm in Belfast.
T. M.
The best bar/restaurant in Belfast.
I cannot imagine anyone being anything other than delighted by a visit to this Gem in Belfast's crown. Tom
S. S.
Well organised around Covid regs. The staff keep to the pub's rules re: Customer movement and management and still deliver lovely pints and good food. A big horror though was the toilets. I am not a svelte, lean young thing, but even someone of this build would have to back in. Also, the toilets were not clean or particularly well cared for.
J. W.
What a fantastic place. Saturday night well spent in a place that wasn't heaving with people. Reasonably well priced and a great vibe. Nostalgic range of music and DJ was happy about us suggesting tracks (I hope). Feels like a pub, if that makes sense. I know it is one... But it doesn't feel inauthentic. It feels like a fantastic pub. Well worth a visit.
D. B.
The best Irish pub meal of my life. Fantastic friendly service, tasty food and terrific live music.
S. T.
Always a great atmosphere. Quality bar with first class staff. Been a few times when I’m in Belfast. Excellent service and really nice food. Burgers are huge and very tasty. Chips are homemade.
Can’t fault it
D. B.
Great city centre pub and bar staff very friendly and quick service at the bar. Covid regulations in place
M. P.
Great looking traditional city pub with a fantastic selection of bottled beers and whiskeys as well as the usual beers, Guinness & lagers on tap. Live music early Friday evening with a warm atmosphere. Friendly, welcoming and helpful staff.
d. m.
Great bar! Very friendly and welcoming staff.
Try the chicken wings they are a must!
F. D.
Lovely atmosphere and amazing food, huge delicious burgers and beautiful rare steak sandwiches, yum x
A. A.
Great bar with a wide selection of drink (whiskey). Had a meal too which hit the spot.
N. M.
Decent variety of beers and a good pint of stout.. Good old style character pub. Close to city Hall.. If you've been to the continental Market and had enough of standing in a shed with an expensive plastic pint then.. this is the place to go.
T.
One of the best bars in Belfast.
L. P.
Fun bar and friendly staff.
P. C.
The decor here was very nice . There was a group of us and we had a little corner to ourselves. Service was very fast and polite . They have gluten free beer which is always good but the only option for food was fries. Everyone else seemed to really enjoy their food . It is nice and clean . A pity about the food
C. R. B.
The best chicken burguer I’ve ever eaten
C. F.
Great pub. Great food and traditional music. Consider it my local and spend many a weekday evening in the pub.
The street outside the pub is great in summer evenings for a bar and to watch the world go by.
While the food is traditional pub grub, it’s done well and their champ is second to none.
Great to catchup with friends or to watch a midweek champions league match.
M. D.
Great city centre bar. Excellent food menu with something for everyone including good vegetarian vegan dishes. Great selection of beers and friendly efficient service. Great for watching a big game or for just a chilled couple of pints.
M. C.
Staff very friendly. Live music. Great food and selection of cocktails
R. L.
Where would you get it? Not on every corner. Faultless Guinness, quality staff and plates of food that would make norse gods drool 🤤
M. M.
Great people and owner. They made us feel so welcome. I believe we learned more about Ireland on that Sunday evening than we did the prior week combined. They just made us feel at home. One of the fonder memories of our trip actually!!
O. B.
I had my wedding reception here and absolutely loved it. The staff were so helpful on the lead up to and on the big day. The food was delicious and all our guests commented on what a relaxed and fun time they had. Couldn't recommend them highly enough.
E. O. K.
Great atmosphere and the staff very friendly and great service .
S. C.
My girlfriend and I just had lunch here. The service was fantastic, as soon as we sat down a lovely lady came over to ask for our order.
The pub was really warm and a great start to our weekend here in Belfast.
The haddock and chips was yummy! I would definitely recommend this place for first timers.
C. M.
Great atmosphere and staff, little bit of music also when we where in
J. B.
My first visit back in 20 years and delighted to see that little has changed. A traditional pub with a great selection of beers and whiskey. Great service and atmosphere with one of the best pints of Guinness anywhere.
A. D.
Been to the garrick many time yesterday bbeing one for lunch with my husband and child absolutely first class food and service cannot recommend enough 👌
S. B.
Lovely pub with barmen that sings Beetles classics. What more could you ask for?
D. K.
Great pints, and great wings. 👍
J. W.
Lovely bar and great service
K. M.
Lovely pub. Bartender Rory was great craic and served lovely cocktails 🍸
J. C.
I love the garrick the staff are lovely and the food is great but i just love the atmosphere.
R. B.
Asked for a recommendation for a cosy place for coffee and were sent here. They did good. Really old style pub, very cool setting, some good deals on beers that we saw (but we were in for the coffee). Nice atmosphere, easy to talk in.
The service was excellent, attentive without being over the top, proper bar staff that really seemed to enjoy what they are about. Coffee was excellent, lavazza, we hadn't been lucky with coffee in Belfast up to this point. Would return in a heartbeat and they have sing songs and music and more.
T. P.
Lovely and Friendly food lovely and will be back
D. M.
Nice pint. Tiny toilets
J. G.
Air near the bar was a little bit smelly (probably fish and chips), but beer list was excellent.
L. D.
Great bar, good service, good food and have no hesitation in recommending a visit.
C. A.
Great pub, great food, exceptional service
C. G.
The food is amazing, friendly atmosphere & the Guinness is the best in Belfast
M. G. (.
Not much to say about this plane apart from if your a local, tourist, stopping by this place is a must. One of the best bars in Belfast for charm, music and life. I love the Garrick with a vast selection of beers and ales you could get lost for days in it.
Great spot for all major sports events especially the national Rugby, if you haven't been you have two questions 1: why not 2: who's coming with me.
Enjoy
J. K.
Great little traditional pub to stop for a few drinks. Service was fast, and interior was decorated with interesting little Irish things. Open late too, which was nice. Great place to finish off the night
M. B.
First Guinness ever. Fantastic authentic venue and great service
J. D.
Great experience again. Went in for a quick quiet pint and received what I was looking for. It's a nice bar if you wanna grab a bite to eat or watch some sports. Sometimes could be crowded cuz it's small bar,but that's alright. Keep up the standards guys! :)
b. r.
Great pub, quality food and great atmosphere. Friendly service 🙂 highly recommend.
M. D.
Beautiful pub. Great variations of beers. The nice thing is that it is all separated and yet all combined! I love just sitting out the front and not being a smoker just to people watch.beng in the city centre you could stay for hours. Haven't tried the food yet, but I am sure I will.
P. M.
If you like craft beers or something just a little different try and work through the menu if over 100 different beers and ciders. Staff are great, shows all the big sports matches. If your.lucky you will catch one of the music sessions in the front bar.
A. M.
Amazing food! The scampi is renowned but the chef adaptdd0tgd chicken risotto for me and served it on a bed of salad instead with sweet potato fries. It was absolutely delicious! Amazing flavours and textures. Our waiter was excellent too, so helpful and accommodating, with a lovely southern accent. Thank you all for making our daughter's birthday dinner so special.
G. H.
Food is always good, but depending on the night it's amazing. Archetypal pub grub dishes like fish and chips, pies, sausages and mash are done justice at the Garrick with healthy "country sized" portions. Great selection of beer, friendly staff and a perfect city centre location with reasonable prices.
J.
Very busy pub with great attentive staff. Friendly atmosphere from both staff & fellow customers. Haven't eaten here yet but the food looks excellent & ive heard good reports that the food is spot on. Plenty of tv screens to watch the sport and a big screen in the restaurant part of the pub also. Gets a bit crowded at times and it's not always easy finding a seat but we'll worth a visit. I'm the dashingly handsome one with the beard by the way.
M. F.
Very nice and cozy pub, divided in 2 rooms, one has trad music during the week the other room has a dj during the weekends. Nice to watch sports, and perfect when nothing is on because the tv are turned off. Food is good and served all day.
J. G.
The pub is a nice setting to enjoy a Guinness and some down time. Went a few times. The fish and chips were great, the peppers beef burger was so-so and the wings were forgettable, a couple of dummies and the rest were the mealy wing portion. The Guinness was well poured, cool and dry fresh.
D. H.
Beautiful old bar in the heart of city centre. Small but perfectly formed. Can be easily overlooked with it understated frontage but it's a definite must see for the Victorian features. Good staff and a decent pint is served.
A.
Popped in to have a plateful of sausage and champ with a pint of the black stuff. Great service, reasonably priced and a massive plate of really tasty food. Guinness as smooth as ever.
A. G.
Cosy and informal, our experience here was just amazing. Plenty of different good beers, abundant tasty food and traditional folk Irish music was super entertaining. I suggest everyone to stop by The Garrick.
G. G.
The most reliable pub in Belfast IMO.
You'd think with its location so close to city hall that it would always be bunged, but most weeknights it's quiet enough for a few stout and being able to have a good chinwag.
Their food menu is also quite underrated, although not a good idea to order when the bar is packed for football or rugby.
S. C.
Busy at Christmas but a great pint of Guinness.
D. K.
Was packed but the crack was good and the guinness was outstanding
K. M. (. R. W. B.
The Garrick is one of the oldest pubs in Belfast and it's a popular drinking spot among locals and tourists alike. I wouldn't have known about this place had I not gone on the Belfast Food Tour, which costs £55 and lasts for over two hours, with tasting opportunities as you go along.
When we went to the Garrick, we drank traditional Belfast beers including the Belfast Blonde, and we ate traditional Irish champ (mashed potato and spring onions).
Definitely worth a stop off here!
p. h.
Great food, nice atmosphere and really friendly staff definitely be back soon. One place not to miss
M. C.
Friendly and helpful staff. Food is excellent, although the ambience of an old Belfast pub has been lost by the accommodation of the vast number of craft beers which seem to attract a 'yuppie' cliental.
E. J. C.
A lovely old school style bar, with always good wee nights happening in the back bar. The front bar is proper old school, lovely seating booths but very small. The upstairs offers a small function room that can be hired out for events.
The only down side is the cider can be pretty expensive. Also a lack of choice of cider. But all in all a must to see.
W. M.
Always loved the atmosphere in here
A. M.
Fabulous night. Great food and Rory was legend 👍👍
S. C.
Pre meal drinks with friends. Great spot and always fantastic staff!
N. G.
Lovely drinks, good staff and cool atmosphere.
C. S.
Dropped in last night for a quick drink. Enjoyed the atmosphere & live music. Came back today for lunch & it was lovely homely & tasty food. Really enjoyed it. Staff very relaxed & friendly.
G. 7.
Good pints all round
J. M.
This is a great little pub when they have the fire going and the football is on. One downside to this home from home is the size. It's tight and can be pretty tricky to get a drink and a seat on a Friday night or when there's a big game on.
D. K.
Absolutely amazing food - best fish & chips I've ever eaten! Service is excellent and the pub is charming. A true gem in Belfast.
B. M.
Cool place, good atmosphere, lots of beers on tap. Good to go for a pint. Not much happening for live entertainment when we were there (6 or 7pm on a Saturday night)
A. C.
Very nice little pub. Staff very friendly and even took my food order at the table which isn't commonplace. Live Irish music made the night 😊
J. E.
A wonderful place! It's a pity we only discovered it on our very last day in the city, thanks to a recommendation from someone at the Visitor Centre where we had asked for a good pub for lunch.
Styled very traditionally, the inside of the Garricks is very nice and cozy und just what you would expect from a traditional pub. The service was friendly and efficient. And the food was simply delicious! I had the steak and Guiness pie with "champ" (mash potatoes), it was all very tasty. As part of a Meal Deal it came with a Krombacher non-alcoholic beer, so it was very good value, too.
My daughter – who, as a vegetarian, often had problems finding something adequate in traditional places – had a vegetarian burrito and she kept telling me how this was the best food she had had in all of Ireland.
If I ever come back to Belfast, this is where I will go for food and entertainment (they have live music in the evenings).
P. Y.
Been here a few times for a Fishers. One of the best beers there is. Went back last week to be told it was during Octoberfest only. I really don't think that's true but still a great pub. Can't find Fishers anywhere now. Devastated.
p. S.
Great place to watch the football, wide range of drinks.. Tommy the bartender was outstanding and was great to chat with, he is very knowledgeable about all drinks.

Bitchin'
C. M.
And Ireland won
P. H.
Some of the best chicken wings in Belfast! A massive selection of craft beers and ciders to choose from and the food is unbelievable. Can sometimes be a nightmare to get a seat but that is only due to the great craic to be had here.
M. P.
Love the atmosphere, live music, and beer variety. Little bit cramped if you're with a larger group but a good place to check out. Would recommend for sure
S. B.

Great city centre traditional pub for, drinks, food, music and sports,
P. A.
I do like The Garrick. It's a proper, old fashioned pub and I'm usually there at some point in the night. Its reputation for a good pint of Guinness is well earned too.
p. p.
Best pint of Guinness in Belfast, great gastro pub food, front bar has a fire going during the cold winter days, amazing selection of whiskeys and local and regional craft beers, live trad music weekly, genuine staff to have a bit of craic with. Quiet after lunch before the local traders and business folk pile out for a swally, a legendary Belfast pub.
M. N.
Great bar this. I challenge you to try their 'Garrick Buster' special; a fish supper, 2 burgers and 10 pints of cider.
That sorts the men from the boys! All for £15 too!
G. M.
A huge selection of bottled real ales to choose from and had traditional music played informally from the corner of the bar. A lovely atmosphere and would definitely revisit should I ever find myself in Belfast again.
