D. M.Advance booking for dining is presently a must at the Thirsty Goat in Summer 2021. Delicious and reasonably priced food in a Covid safe environment. At peak periods, staff can be under pressure but try their best. We returned for a second visit two months later. I ordered the lamb cutlets again as they were so nice the first time. The dish which was served by the manager was quite a bit different with a lot less meat which was extremely disappointing. We raised the issue with our order taker who eventually resolved the matter. Be weary of portion sizes.

A. K.My Food was beautiful goujons and chips tasty pepper sauce. A large group 21 for lunch unfortunately some had cold soup. They took off bill and plus gave wrong drinks out. Would go back though as food is very good.

A. C.Sad to say it wasn't great. Went for late lunch and both our meals were pretty poor quality. We left over half each. Atmosphere wasn't great either. Despite having multiple empty tables around us throughout our 2hr stay we were pressured to order as soon as we arrived, then reminded multiple times we had to vacate the table by 5.15pm. I do get that there are timeslots but the restaurant was far from busy and this constant obsession with vacating the table felt really unwelcoming.

A. A.Went there first time for dinner to celebrate my partners bday. I ordered the steak and my partner had the chicken curry which he ate in a heartbeat lol he loved it. My steak was cooked perfect. Also a plus the live music was very enjoyable and will definetely go back.

M. W.Was not as good as I thought it would be, I just wanted a chip and I asked for some coleslaw to go with them but when they brought it out it was the same size as the bowl that my chips came in. I was not happy with it but when I complained about the size of the coleslaw and said that I only wanted it for myself the waiter told manager and he said that I can keep it and it was taken off the bill.
L.Excellent food and massive portions. Their own IPA is also a must try. There was live music on the evening we visited-this just topped off our lovely experience.

J. M.We've drank here a few times and decided to call in for lunch one day. The menu has lots of choices, fairly typical pub grub options along with some local type stuff (stew, boxty). I had the steak sandwich which was great, loved the bread it came served on. I would definitely recommend.

A. L.They stop serving food at 8pm so get there by 1945 when it's last orders. So many people turned up after 8pm wanting food who couldn't be catered for. The food was fantastic and the portions large. There was live music as well. The serving staff were helpful and even bought extra drinks to table. We paid about £18 per head for 2 courses.

Need to clarify the toilet signs however. I saw a young boy leaving a toilet and subsequently entered thinking it was the gents.... the nanny goat on the door when I left made me slightly embarrassed!!! All Craic!
M. M.I had a really good experience in this restaurant. We had a large group booking for social gathering and had pre ordered our meals. I had special dietary requirements due to food allergies and staff were really accommodating and helpful from booking right through to serving. Special mention to Desi and Charlotte for their helpfulness at booking stage and to the chef (didnt catch her name) who paid great attention to preparation and serving of my meal which was really delicious but very spicy. I had the vegetarian curry. There was a really good atmosphere and all staff were very attentive. Food prices are reasonable for location.
s. w.Went for some lunch last Friday and got a sharing valentines plater (was awesome loads to choose from steak although was quite dry and over done although we asked for medium well , chicken was awesome) generally was superb , bar itself was nice staff were lovely as well , never got to go to the beer garden as it was closed for some reason so we headed on after food but great place for food and will go back to see what it's like for drinks and music.

If you get there early enough, dining with children is no problem either.

Einen So Genialen Burger habe ich schon lange nicht mehr gegessen. Die Getränke sind, wie es in einem Pub halt üblich ist, relativ Teuer. Als Softdrinks gibt es die Getränke der Coca-Cola Company (Fanta, Sprite, Cola). Sonst eine typische Pub Atmosphäre. Abends gibt es Livemusik und Kinder werden rausgeschmissen und nicht wieder reingelassen. Wenn man früh genug dran ist, ist aber auch Speisen mit Kindern kein Problem.
