The pub has been refurbished and had a few good meals there but just lately we have phoned up to book a table and no one would answer the call so took a chance and no tables were available then another time phoned again same thing no answer went there again kitchen was closed another time same again kitchen closed when you come by taxi and no food its annoying if only they would respond to a phone call at least you know where you stand ok new gaffer but he has his feet under the table but is he now showing is true colours he is not the best person to run the pub that my opinion

Hadn't been in this pub for about forty years. I met an old school there today and everything was lovely, friendly staff, good food, clean and tidy. Relaxing atmosphere
