A. K.If anyone recalls how Costermongers used to look and was a fan of said place, you'll be pleased to find that (albeit with a good scrub up), the place has largely gone unchanged.
Staff are friendly, drink selection has been broadened and the jukebox has been updated and maximised.
For new-comers, you'll be satisfied with all of the above, the relaxed atmosphere (in the day) and is a great place for groups, a swift lunchtime half or your one stop for a night out.
M. P.Best rock/alternate place we've found in Birmingham now so many places have closed down. Great music played late into the night.

K. K.This was my favourite watering hole pre - Subs every week, and a massive part of the alternative scene was lost when it closed down. Then it rose again! And I was delighted to see that (aside from cleaner loos!) it hasn't changed a bit. Decent selection of beers and fantastic music, what more could you ask for!
S. B.A place with a fabulous rock music jukebox and not too busy if you get here early enough. An alternative venue which I appreciate and enjoy. If you are looking for something out of the norm this is a great place to choose and should be enjoyed whilst it is still here.
m. v.Good rock music and good atmosphere if you get it on the right night. Toilets have always been awful but if you went there back in the day this will bring back nostalgic smelly memories. It's only because of the toilet it didn't get a 5 for me
E. O.What can I say about Costermongers. I love this place. It's a second home to me. The staff treat us (as the usuals) as family and same for new faces. It has great range of alcohol and a jukebox with a lot of good choices. Couldn't recommend this place enough.
M. R.What you see is what you get. Classic rock pub with good beers on tap, pinball and classics ringing in your ears. Falls into the dive bar category so don't expect the Ritz!

K. R.After 10 or so years of closure this old haunt from the past has recently reopened. Still the same - heavy metal music, sticky floor, bar and fittings. Did not check the toilets by guess much improved !!

M. D.Used to go the old costers religiously 1995-1999. Fair play to see it still trying to survive. Had some of the best nights there. Every weekend. It’s a shame we all got old died or disappeared but Atleast we were there when it was awesome. Hope everyone from XLs. Eddies. Costers. Gallows days are still alive and kicking. 🤘
