Really great to see it back in Birmingham, done out very nicely, but was very rammed and too hot for me, it is early days, but I hope they can get a marques set up at the back like the old Eden , it was just a bit to popular for the size it is now, with the top class cabaret they provide for free, it really needs a bigger cabaret area, but great what you have done so far, nice also that the owners put them self's out to say hello to you, more than can be said for other bar owners in the city , well worth a visit 👍🏼👍🏼👍🏼👍🏼👍🏼

Been here about three times over the past year. Great bar. The front bar is open early but the music is TERRIBLE which is the reason I've not given a 5 star review.
They open the back of the bar which is great but they open it really late. They should open it much earlier and get people dancing. Once the back bar is open, the place comes alive. It gets busy, which is rare for any bar these days. It's mainly an older crowd which I prefer.

Great little gay bar - well, more of a gay pub really. Friendly atmosphere, from staff that feel more like family than bar staff, good selection of beers and gins, and a massive cabaret tent (open Thursdays and weekends). Nice little outside beer & smoking area too.

Love Eden, it's got a brilliant chilled vibe and the staff are so friendly. They also have a fantastic quiz every Wednesday hosted by Yogi and a raffle with a cash prize! The drinks are very reasonably priced too.

Have visited this bar on several occasions with my rugby team and have always been welcomed with open arms.
Fantastic staff who seem to enjoy working here. Great range of drinks, plenty of space inside and out, and a pool table which is always good.
There is often entertainment ranging from karaoke to some fabulous live acts. Have seen Queens of Pop here twice and both times they were great. The place has a real atmosphere.
The bar also plays a big role in the community but supporting Birmingham's gay rugby team, proving its not just about selling booze.
I would definitely recommend heading to Eden for a couple of beers.

I had two nights in Birmingham in November 2016 and visited the Eden bar on both nights. It's quite a small bar with a tiny stage in one corner and an even smaller disco booth. The bar staff are both friendly and efficient. The decor is very nice with reasonably subdued lighting and a generally warm feel to the whole place with a few but comfortable seats which get taken quite early in the evening. There is a pool table at the rear and an outside area for smokers. Later on in the evenings the DJ starts playing music which does mean that you have to shout to be heard which is about the time I left on both nights.
I am a bi male and love all things feminine, so for visiting the Eden bar I wore a dress, black opaque tights, knee length black boots, a black wool/cashmere knee length coat, scarf and handbag (no makeup or wig - not my style). I was a bit apprehensive about going into the bar on the first evening but I needn't have worried as not a single person batted an eyelid. That said, the bar patrons appeared to be mostly Gay couples or groups that already knew each other but, as I was there early at about 8pm I managed t get one of the very comfy chairs and just relaxed and enjoyed being myself.
I went back to the Eden bar on my second night and felt completely at ease. I had only been seated for five minutes when a nice looking guy came in and smiled at me as he went to get a drink from the bar. He slowly worked his way back towards where I was seated and asked if it was okay to sit down beside me. It turned out that he had seen me coming in and liked what he saw so he came in and we spent the evening chatting. He was very complimentary about what I was wearing and after leaving the bar hand in hand we later found a quiet dark area where we had a really lovely snog and he showed me just how good he was with his hands.
My trip to the Eden bar was indeed very memorable, I enjoyed being out in my preferred style of clothing and I was very lucky to have met a really nice guy who certainly appreciated and complimented me on what I was wearing. If and when I am ever back in Birmingham I will certainly visit the Eden bar again and I have no hesitation in recommending it to others especially for those guys who like me have a passion for all things feminine. I have rated the bar four out of five stars only because th music made it rather difficult to have a decent conversation (but that's maybe just me) but aside from that I would rate it as a five star venue.

Warm welcome and great quality drinks. Will be back post covid when things are back to normal. Felt they really had tried very hard to make things work while respecting the rules. Well done !

Cannot fault this place, staff wonderful, beer and drinks well priced. Clean toilets and bar area. Great for a 'local pub' feel in the day and comes alive at the weekend. Quiz on Wednesday, live acts on the weekend, all free.

Probably the best gay bar in Birmingham. Really great atmosphere. Friendly staff. Gets busy the weekend, regular entertainment. Home to Birmingham Fetish Men and Mids Bears events. Prices are ok for a city pub

My favourite bar in Birmingham. There is a sense of community here and the owners talk to their customers and care! They have regular free entertainment too!

The management and most of the punters at Eden are really friendly. They work hard to ensure the bar is a safe fun and environment, and the drag acts are first class.

Eden is the best place to be I gay village. The staff are brilliant and the whole atmosphere is greatno matter what age you are you are always welcome DJ Nikki is the best around a proper DJ, not one that relies on videos to support them.

Strangely lacking in atmosphere the last couple of times my partner and I have been-in fairness we may have been there too early-but seemingly not the bustling bear-pit the publicity would have you believe. On the plus side, they are now serving Cobra on draught which is one of my favourites.

Love this place, great venue, staff are very polite and they have a laugh with you, any trouble is stamped out immediately. Great entertainment, on the night times, always guaranteed a laugh.

Hi, does anyone know a guy called Paul he's 6 foot and in his 40s and lives in the birmingham area? I met him in Manchester years ago.We went to this Eden bar at the time. I would really like to get back in touch to tell him how sorry I am for everything, and explain why things happened the way they did, there where many reasons. I've tried to find and contact you to no luck. I was from Liverpool. I hope you are happy, I really do and I'm desperate to apologise. We went to a Chinese got drunk and remember the taxi guy?you where shouting at him for what he had said.I hope you see this or a friend of yours does just so I can explain thank you.

Is bit claustrophobic, people strand drinking at the bar so makes it difficult to get a drink. I will only go in if its not too busy..
