We visited Shooters with friends on Saturday and had a good time! The first down fall for us was that we were heading to Broad St as did not realise the bar had moved and the Google maps link on the website was still linking to Broad Street.. that aside, when we arrived we were greeted by the super friendly and efficient Jason who was amazing! He made us all feel really welcome, found us a nice table and made our drinks faster than lightening. He was really pleasant to talk too and a really good laugh, a real credit to Shooters! The pitfall of this bar was how bloody freezing it was! Bear in mind this is December, there was no heating available as they had ran out of gas. I aged by 20 years sat using my coat and scarf as a blanket but I guess it was an excuse to buy more drinks to warm us up!! 5 stars for Jason, but you guys definitely do need heating!!!

First time visiting the new home for Bierkeller and the drinks were fine, atmosphere great as this was a R&B Brunch event. What I found disgusting was that all the ladies toilets had no seats, this may be a new thing, but not for me.

Child friendly relaxing bar, snooker and pool hall , 2 giant floors of entertainment with plenty of screens showing the sports. Many offers to be took advantage off too. Come here and escape the busy streets of Birmingham city centre. Be aware tho many of the table have had drinks spilt on them then dried. However a clean environment and I will be returning

Good place to play pool, no snooker as of yet (June 2021) and does feel a bit dated inside. Aswell as this perhaps they could spread their tables out more as more often than not you will bump in to someone.

If you're there for pool, it's good. It's £9 an hour or £18 for 3 hours. The table cloths are a little shabby, but good cushions and average cues for a joint like this. They have more American pool than UK tables, but both are available. Not sure if the drinks are cheap, but I know they're not expensive. There's a screen hooked up to a projector and other TV screens. Here's the downside - the seating area for the TV is in the throwing area for the dart boards. There are broken or uncomfortable seats. The music won't be to everybody's taste.

Plenty of space and good quality tables. Totally impressive was the food menu and the quality of the food delivered. This far exceeded our expectations and many thanks to staff that accommodated our ad-hoc food and drink ordering. Great day for us.

Great atmosphere in here. Snooker tables are £10 an hour and everyone I've been there there's been one free, they have darts downstairs for a pound and there's pool aswell. Drinks are cheap and staff are friendly.

First time @ Riley's and despite there being so much to say, I hope to keep this brief: - Gaming facilities are top class and excellent value - Atmosphere is the most welcoming I have experienced in any Birmingham City Centre premise I have been too (I avoid the city at the weekend due to suffering from anxiety and generally finding the bar atmospheres exceptionally uncomfortable) - Membership is great value for money and pretty much pays for itself in the welcome drink - *MOST IMPORTANTLY* THE STAFF ARE ABSOLUTELY AMAZING! Thank you SARAH & TRACEY for keeping standards high and the attitudes real. * Some new flooring and a jukebox would make this place perfect... But I guess I'm splitting hairs as I'll be back soon either way! Many thanks and see you soon! James.

Venue was very accomodating for a group of 16 of us. Played couple hours pool during quiet period. Little slow in responding on initial enquiry but once things were booked and we arrived it was a very good few hours. Place was clean, relaxed environment and if I was local I would definitely go again.

Didn’t catch the name of the guy behind reception Saturday afternoon (had a beard), but he was super helpful. Set up a table tennis table for us on request. Staff generally fantastic, but agree with a previous reviewer that some of the pool tables could be changed to permanent table tennis tables to give a broader offering.

It’s like a what you see is what you get kinda place. Personally I love football and pool so it’s fills that hole perfectly. Truly hilarious to read through comments of people moaning about food. I doubt an experienced chef is employed and if you’re going to Riley’s for decent grub then you’ve gone wrong somewhere along the line. Nothings ever perfect though, like the toilets, which were pretty grim but apart from that I honestly can’t fault it as a place to go for football and pool.

In Birmingham for weekend, went with 3 mates to play American Pool on Sat afternoon. Good tables. Staff were excellent, couldn’t have been more helpful and friendly. Spent a great couple of hours playing pool and watching the screens.

Good size glasses if your into pints. 😀 Loads off pool tables if that's your thing but sports fans perfect for football, boxing ,UFC etc as they have many screens so their always something on, if not ask u will get

It's an ok billiards hall. Has everything required to play and socialize but that's all. It's quite dilapidated, old refurbishment, holes in walls, grotty toilet, old discoloured playing balls, etc, seen better days. Maybe a tired brand now after being around many years and run by disinterested owners (needs investment). That said it's very easy to join and get a table - easy access, good bar selection, use any Riley's in the country with one membership, sports events on big TVs, etc. May still look around for a more private club better run club.

We and my partner came from Malvern for a weekend in Birmingham and Dennis was wonderful from the second we walked in. Just seen the review about bad service last night and waiting times for service and I just have to say that I was there and this wasn’t the case. I was at the bar too and Dennis was incredible dashing between people! We had an great time and will definitely be back in the future!
