Went at 1 pm on a Friday. Was absolutely rammed with families. Good job we had booked. Food took a while to arrive, which was understandable but was very enjoyable and great value for money. Massive well done to the staff who were really run off their feet but did a great job and did it with a smile.

Wow! First time visit in 20 yrs and what a difference, fresh decor and light and airy seating arrangements. Super Friendly and efficient staff made our visit so welcoming, AND the food was Excellent, We had the sizzler steak and the sizzler mixed grill which was marvellous (ate it all couldn't help it) Definitely going back for more. I went to a wake there on the 19th Jan 2022, the food they put on was excellent, and the member of staff was very attentive. It was a room in the middle of the pub, so it was very private. Would recommend it for small private gatherings

Was a bit nervous about going out but my family had booked a table for us to meet up for the first time since restrictions were eased. I have to say this place was brilliant, I felt safe and relaxed the whole time. We were greeted by louise who explained to us how everything work and what we needed to do. We did have some issues with the app but again she was happy to talk us through it and got us sorted. Service was great and the food was really good. Looking forward to my next visit.

The whole of the staff Saturday evening were so great. Couldn’t ask for more friendly service. The manager mentioned that they were trying to get some reviews and after our experience it would be rude not to recognise the hard work they all put in today. We spoke to Callum who was running about all night making sure everyone was having a great time and our food was given to us by a brunette girl we haven’t seen in here before but she was lovely too. I would give the service 6 stars if I could. We have been many times and have never left a review before but every time we visit we leave very happy. Thank you everyone working tonight me and my sister had a wonderful time.

This pub has something for everyone. Funhouse for the kids and massive beer garden and climbing frame for the families in the summer. There is a bar side for over 18’s with a pool table jukebox and a giant big screen to watch any sport.

Love this place and the new decor is brilliant..! Funhouse is great and staff really friendly in there too lovely outside play area which is great especially in the warmer weather. Always loved the grange for the family friendly environment it has but also at the weekend a great place to let your hair down never had a problem with food yeah at times they have a wait in place but personally I see that as a positive would you want to eat somewhere that’s dead?! We’re all too happy to spread complaints but we hardly ever compliment. The staff are all very helpful and friendly the owner/owners need a good pat on there back..!

Love this place. Just had a festive meal with all the trimmings. Very impressed. Julie made sure we were well catered for and even remembered a candle for my friends dessert. For a cheap family friendly restaurant this is good. The inside is busy but with lots of seats, they do food deals throughout the week. There's an adjoining soft play which is surprisingly large, there is also a park outside for when the weather is nice.

Good place to take the kids. The fuzzy staff and the lady in the restaurant was really friendly. They do have a bar side and big screen which seems great for watching the sport but I’m yet to be in there kid free.

Very nice food at a reasonable price, only lost a star due to apparent staffing issues. We wanted a pudding and we could only see one member of bar staff who had to deal with a busy bar and the orders from the restaurant. After waiting nearly 5 minutes to order we decided against pudding and just got the little ones. Overall though very nice family friendly establishment.

Just had a family meal here. There was 21 of us and service was fab. We all ordered separately yet the food came together after about 25mins. Not 1 thing wrong with the food it was lovely. I think it was the manager who served us and she was really friendly.

My kids are always made welcome and I’ve never had an issue with the drinks and food they serve. Perfect every time. Sometimes the Grange can get absolutely packed out busy but Lou is still there talking to everyone with a smile on her face. The garden is great for the summer and can’t wait to get out there and use it.

Have been going here regularly for 10 years. Food is lovely. Have only had three bad meals in all this time. Staff are very friendly. They do get really busy at times and this means that sometimes you may have to wait up to an hour for food. If you want a quiet drink though I wouldn't recommend going here when the weather is warm as it gets packed with children.

Came here on Tuesday with my family. The service was fantastic I think it was the manager who was serving us. She was so happy and polite and really good with kids. Kept checking that we had everything we need and nothing was too much trouble. The funhouse was a bit crazy because how busy it was but the outside garden with climbing frame was great to let the kids run round.

The staff here are really nice, you can have a bit of banter over the bar and nothing seems to much trouble! The manager here Lou is fantastic she will have a laugh and joke and always do what she can for you and she’s quick to stop any idiots misbehaving. The food is general pub grub but I mainly use this place for the bar. It’s got a massive big screen and they always have the football and boxing on. Jukebox and pool table and great beer. Keep up the good work 👍🏻

Thought it was great on entry you could scan when you went in and order on the app so was covid protected brilliant till I seen 5 lads leaving the pub regulars in the pub as staff new them as they laughed and joked mainly about 3 of the guys not wearing mask and staff laughing with them I don't think this is good behaviour when they tell us to play by the rules but when it's mates not so much very disappointing

You have the ideal car park to setup as a drive through, get some plastic glasses with lids and setup as drive through for all those craving a draught beer. Never used to like this place however following a refurbishment and an overhaul of their catering facilities it has now increased its reputation again. The food is very reasonably priced and a lot better quality than it used to be. Can be a little busy in the summer and when sports are on TV.

Visited for mums 60th birthday. There were 8 in our party.Took a while for food to come out even though it wasn't busy. Once the food arrived it was bought to our table altogether, and was hot, and presented well. Friendly and local, the wacky part is big which is good and has different parts for different ages. I don't know why adults are allowed in the ball part though if your kids are at a difficult age where they don't wana go to the smaller baby part but they can't keep up with the big kids either, that's my only problem because I've never heard of that before. Absolutely love this place. We can here for Christmas dinner. The food was great but the service was exceptional. They made sure we had everything we needed. The tables were all layed up special. They even had the funhouse open for the children which was fantastic. The thing I loved the most even though our food was booked for a certain time we could have our table all day which meant meeting with family sooner and knowing we wasn’t going to be rushed off as soon as we finished. Can understand why they sell out so fast every year, will be returning next Christmas for sure.

This is a handy little place to take my little one for a bite to eat and a play. The food isn't fantastic but most people can find something they will eat on the menu. I like the battered hollumi and my daughter loves the burgers. The staff are nice even if some a bit slow (the young ones) but the manager is great and are always happy to exchange or refund anything your not happy with. All in all it's a nice pub!

I have recently had my sons 4th birthday here at the fun House, fuzzy Ed’s. I had 27 guests and they all had a wonderful time, the new party menu is great and was complimented by all. The menus offers 3 of your 5 a day and the kids loved it. The staff were very helpful and they ensured my guests had somewhere to sit and had a good time. I will be having other party’s here as well as the guests I invited ! The only thing I would say is to try gain more control over the older children running up the slide whilst there are younger ones around but that is a very common problem with many inside play areas.

Good family pub with great atmosphere. What puts this pub in favourite category is the customer service, every member of staff are happy and seem to really care which is very hard to find these days. They made our Christmas such a special one. There was 16 of us and not one of us could fault a thing can’t wait to spend new year with you.

Lovely pub and great food. Can never fault it and really good for families with the both indoor and outdoor playing area. If you don't want the kids bothering you there's a large over 18s only bar with a pool table and jukebox. They also have live bands and DJS quite often so there's always something going on for everyone.

If you want a night out without having to worry about taxis in and out of town this is a great local. Entertainment on most Fridays DJ’s and bands. If no entertainment got a jukebox pool table and the biggest screen I’ve ever seen for all sport. Me and my husband love it. The drink prices are reasonable and the staff are all really friendly.

Love going back there. Good service and waiting time is also impressive. The only bad point in my opinion is the house keeping. The Menu cards are dirty and very sticky. Tables are not always as clean as I would expect. But I can imagine that’s the „common” things when dining in Pub’s. Oh yeah - 1 more think. The gravy portions are too small lol :) In general one of the best pub’s in the area.

Has got a soft play area for the kids for only £3 per hour which is very handy for trying to kill some time. The food isn't the best quality but isn't bad and is quite cheap aswell. Plenty of outdoor seating and outdoor climbing frame with slide etc for the kids, though a little dated.

It's was great the food was really good in till dessert which the sticky toffee pudding came out it. 1st it didn't even take like sticky toffee pudding 2nd custard was VERY cold. 3rd waiting time was way too long. I did enjoy the sticky toffee pudding that they used to have but now I won't be having dessert here again. Also manager was no where to be seen very unprofessional.

Around two weeks ago i met up with some friends to catch up about life. Now the St Bernands Grange is situated in a nice place and easy to get to. It serves both the local people in the surrounding area and for customers who just seem to passing by?.For me the Grange provides a real inviting, welcoming atomsophere . The menu are reasonably priced with a real selection of dishes to suit all pallates. A nice array of drinks for both non and alocholic drinkers. The staff are very professional and attentive to individual customer needs and is must if you like good food lighting, artwork and spacing combine to create real comfort and a magical experience.

I went here with my family for my mom's birthday and it is quite big and spacious we ordered a meals but not happy with the Quality ,it got a big choice but my mom was very disappointed with the overall taste and the food was not steaming hot ,also the staff a bit miserable and not dressed smartly although they did try be friendly ,also my dad ordered cappuccino coffee s and they were so weak and looked like tea!the standards of this place is not up to scratch really ,we did'nt enjoy the meals and they are average prices but it gone down a lot that why there not many people in there when we went lol!it is normally a busy public house ,also there was no visibility in car park area and didn't look very inviting we thought it was closed !

Had many a good night (fridays) in the grange but was very disappointed tonight we was told at the breakfast with santa that Friday 16th was christmas party night so was very excited to bring family (they live in lre land and had come over for christmas) so we thought we would bring them to the grange, only to find for most of the night it was reggae music and two christmas songs at the end of the night. Very disappointed, we was told 16th was christmas party/karaoke night. The week before was reggae and we put up with that as the grange is our local. But very disappointed with tonight especially as we had friends over from Ireland!!! Keep reggae nights to reggae nights ( we won't attend) not everyone likes reggae!!

The wacky is OK for the kids, some parents don't watch their kids and staff not on top of them either so I feel on edge all the time watching my son is not getting hurt as he's on 3yrs old but the place is worth the money, as for the grange it's changed so much over the yrs and seems alot better now. PLEASE DONT THINK IM SLAGGING THE PLACE OFF BECAUSE ITS WORTH THE MONEY, ITS THE CUSTOMERS WITH THEIR KIDS NOT WATCHING THEM, LETTING THEIR KIDS WALK UP THE SLIDE, THROWING BALLS AT OTHER KIDS FACES AND THE MOMS JUST NOT BOTHERED. THE STAFF ARE DOING THE BEST THEY CAN BUT THE MOMS ETC SHOULD BE LOOKING AFTER THEIR KIDS AND WATCHING THEM, THE GRANGE DOES GREAT FOOD AND STAFF ARE FRIENDLY WHICH I MISSED OUT ON MY LAST REVIEW.
