Lovely food! Lovely staff! And if you have a problem with something it’s sorted quickly and easily. So welcoming and don’t make you feel uncomfortable at all. Toilets are clean. The place has a nice friendly feel to it!

The biggest problem of that pub is that, the "One Stop Shopping" where it is, close the doors too early at 8:00 pm and the pub later around midnight, so if you go by car and park at the one stop shopping centre, later you will need to walk much more to reach your car, you will need to bypass the shopping centre by the outside.

Went in for breakfast 😋. We had the small veggi breakfast which was really nice.

It is what it is, mixture of a meat market, early morning drinkers, unemployed, people finished the night shift, shoplifters and addicts. A woman was lifting up her t shirt and flopping her belly out, I had to double take, she then started wobbling her tummy roll about, the guys on the next table seemed to enjoy it so more power to her & I have to admit it made me laugh. I felt like I was a in an episode of Shameless in The Jockey, there's about 5 Frank Gallagher lookalikes. There's a lovely lad works in there, really polite (can't remember if he was northern or Irish, either way he's ace) the place was really full of the weird and wonderful, misshapes, mistakes and misfits, raised on a diet of broken biscuits. Food not too shabby, would go again.

Prices for food are pretty good compared to other pubs I have been to in the past. Food tastes wonderful for the price too and most meals come with a drink so you don't have to pay anything extra. Sometimes can be pretty full and a bit loud but that's just most pubs. Overall it was a good food experience and lots of friendly faces, would go again.

Not normally one to leave reviews however I felt that this place deserved it. Came to Villa Park for a Leicester away game and decided to take a walk down to this pub. This Spoons is levels above any of the ones we've got in Leicester. Great quality & perfectly cooked food with extremely polite staff. Waiting times minimal even when it was busy. Would definitely return.

Clean inside with quick service. The coffee machine dispensed decaffeinated coffee which was an excellent idea. Not too busy, but then my visit was 11am. The place is well served by buses and trains from Birmingham city centre. Worth another visit.

Went here for breakfast recently, used to go here regularly so changes are really noticable. Basically skeleton staff (mayb it's assumed everyone orders from the app?). So service is really slow, food comes to you cool instead of hot, and the staff look harassed tbh.

Just had a meal at the Arthur Robertson in Perry Barr. I chose from the 3 for £10 section. I had barbecue rib spicy king prawns and large garlic bread. The rib was cooked perfectly, it fell of the bone it was so tender and the king prawns were delicious. However they should not describe the garlic bread as large, it should say enormous. Thoroughly enjoyed my meal and Parma violet gin. Extremely good value for less than £15 pounds. Thanks to the chef's Dan and Ben

From the outside, this pub always looks a bit ropey. It's not an area I visit very often, unless I'm heading to One Stop for something specific, but on Sunday I went for breakfast there. I was not expecting what I saw. The pub is really lovely. I spend a lot of time in different Wetherspoons pubs, but this one is one of my favourites I've been to. I imagine that given the location it's a bit less lovely on a match day, but on a Sunday morning it was brilliant. As I say, I've been to a lot of different 'spoons across the country - and most of the ones in Birmingham at some stage! - but I think the staff in this one were my favourites of any of them. Just really lovely, happy, friendly people. It made a huge difference to the start of the day, and just wanted to let you know how much I appreciated it :)

Had breakfast here on a Friday morning. It was hot, fresh and the hot chocolate was great. Shame about the sticky tables.
